You go to your appointment, and wait , my last visit I waited at !east 45 minutes and was done at 125 for a noon appointment to only throw a new cap on, that was it! Also since they run late the small waiting room was full no room , its cold and flu season an it made me very uncomfortable. When I asked, when I first went to the back n in a chair, I mentioned the fact of the long wait, n was told its busy because they r only opened 4 days a week. My luck I got a thursday. When I 1st came in I checked in and told him,the receptionist, I explained I would like a appointment on or after March 1st and sat down. There was a huge man with a very loud voice being very opinionated and after a while I just ignored him. The receptionist called me up and asked me to explain. I tried to talk to him but to ally told him I couldn't here him, the large man so loud even right up in front of the front desk. I then tried.to explain for the 3rd time. Explaining as directly as possible, I explained the primary using g my finger to represent 1st insurance I was then told I was being confrontational. Now, I say HOW AM I BEING CONFRONTATIONAL? He then tells me I was shaking my finger at him. I am 5 ft 3 and 110 pounds. March 1st. 1st insurance, the reason I the replied I am not being confrontational looking at him very do fused. To clarify I never raised my voice, no matter the caps, this is hard to do on a tablet. He then said If I'm wrong I'm sorry. LAME RESPONSE NOT A APOLOGY! I then explained it all again with my hands in my pockets, tokens to call with the new card#. MY PROBLEM the large man was loud, obnoxious, and entitled Me the woman trying g to communicate important Information was the problem??? I will not apologise, I am part Italian and talk with my hands and was a teacher I reinforced Information using many methods. In closing g I will not b calling them. In my option if I was a man he would not have treated me the way he did

Today for my semi-annual cleaning/exam it came up that I had recently lost a loved one and my hygienist and dentist both gave condolences and a hug that I knew were completely sincere and heartfelt. You don't get that everywhere. Thank-you Sarah and Dr, Jess. Much love sent your way.

There are procedures in place for handling after-hours patient issues, and they were able to get my son scheduled for an emergency appointment to evaluate his toothache. As a result, my rating has been adjusted. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Transferred a family of 4 to Dean Dental on the recommendation of other patients. Unfortunately, these folks do not appear to be patient-focused. Their procedure for dental emergencies is "go to urgent care," and when my 16 year old son had persistent tooth pain in July, they told me they couldn't see him before the end of August, and that I was free to find another dentist for emergency care. They don't appear to check messages when the office is closed. They don't appear to do traditional emergency appointments during normal business hours. Both of these things are common with independent dental practices, or at least the ones who are patient-focused and demonstrate a good work ethic. The staff and practitioners may be "nice," but that doesn't matter if they're not there when you need them.
