I've mostly just been there for standard cleanings, but she did also remold and set me up with a fresh set of retainers when mine no longer worked and I've been happy with the new set. They have also accommodated my last minute schedule changes a couple of times so I appreciate that. Overall I'd recommend Dr Wakim, she (and her team) are great!

They have a decent waiting room. The staff is pleasant. They tend to run on time. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes. The hygienist is really professional. She does a very good job cleaning my teeth and taking X-rays. I've never had a dental procedure performed here as I had extensive dental work done by my previous dentist. The dentist at this place does continue to recommend various procedures (e. g. Replace a large filling with a crown). For now, I'll keep watching it. He referred me to Dr. Bartling at SWPA Endodontics. I really knew nothing of what a root canal involved...only the horror stories of decades ago. Wow, apparently dentistry has come a long, long way! Not only did he thoroughly explain the possible causes and how it is now done in great detail, put me at ease with how it's done in an approximate 45 min procedure. Left there fully able to go back to work. Absolutely do not want to fail to mention that the staff is outstanding! The procedure is still a bit tedious but nothing like it was described to me by friends in the past. Keep in mind that every case is different I'm sure and everyone's experience may not mirror the total ease of mine, but I can assure anyone that they will put every effort in making it as smooth as possible. UPDATE: Dr. Jessica Dean reached out to me after she became aware of the issue, and it appears that…read morethere was a miscommunication compounded by the fact that we are "in flight" between our old dentist and Dean. There are procedures in place for handling after-hours patient issues, and they were able to get my son scheduled for an emergency appointment to evaluate his toothache. As a result, my rating has been adjusted. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Transferred a family of 4 to Dean Dental on the recommendation of other patients. Unfortunately, these folks do not appear to be patient-focused. Their procedure for dental emergencies is "go to urgent care," and when my 16 year old son had persistent tooth pain in July, they told me they couldn't see him before the end of August, and that I was free to find another dentist for emergency care. They don't appear to check messages when the office is closed. They don't appear to do traditional emergency appointments during normal business hours. Both of these things are common with independent dental practices, or at least the ones who are patient-focused and demonstrate a good work ethic. The staff and practitioners may be "nice," but that doesn't matter if they're not there when you need them.
