I haven't been to a dentist in quite a while because the regular place I went the dentist had retired. I had never been to All About Smiles, but I figured I'd give it a try plus I had a bad tooth ache. When I called to make the appointment and explained that I hadn't been to a dentist in a while and needed the works they seemed to get me in pretty quick, (3 days after call). When I pulled up it seemed a little run down the All About Smiles sign is missing from the front of their building. I went in on March 4th, the staff that day seemed helpful I didn't wait long but the place does have a very weird smell to it. Once in the back I was ready to run out the door their work stations are divided up by half walls with no doors so you can see and hear what is going on with everyone else. I can't remember the name of the dentist but when she finally did come over to look at me she said nothing was wrong just a little plaque built up that could be causing the pain. She then told me there was nothing she could do for me that day and scheduled an appointment for a teeth cleaning for March 25th! I left angry because I felt as if there was nothing I could do since they took X-rays while I was there my insurance wouldn't cover that cost for another 6 months. I decided to wait out the pain from the tooth ache just to get the cleaning done and then find a different dentist.
March 25th came around I had a 1:30pm appointment, when I got there other customers were in front of me at the check-in counter the secretary called my phone while I was standing in-line at 1:31 and rudely asked if I was coming to my appointment when I told her I was standing in front of her trying to check in she quickly hung up and nicely asked me to have a seat that she would mark me as checked in. I waited well over an hour, (the place still had the odd smell that it had the first time I was there) and watched people come and go, I'm a pretty patient person but between the first visit and now this I was done with this place. I went to the front desk and the woman rudely asked me what I wanted. I told her I thought it was ridiculous that she called me 1 min after my appointment time and that waiting over an hour for a teeth cleaning was bull. She told me my chart was up but I honestly don't think she actually marked me as checked in. Like one of the other reviews on here everyone was to busy on their phones to actually care about their customers. I told her to lose my chart because I will never be back. I also called my insurance company and put in a dispute over the work they didn't do because they literally only took an X-ray and looked in my mouth. No one should have to pay for that kind of service I don't see them staying in business long if this is the way they treat their customers. read more
