My sons' (18 mos) pediatrician recommended a dentist visit because he has most of his teeth. I was a little hesitant because of his attention span. My husband spoke to the Dr. Hanna's receptionist and she told us they usually don't do exams until they are at least 2 1/2 but to bring him in anyway. The assistants and Dr. Hanna were extremely friendly to us and they basically put him in the chair to make him feel comfortable and tried to peak around. (No charge) As far as my experience, the assistant I had was amazing and so knowledgable, friendly and helpful! She took her time to get to know me and made me feel comfortable enough to ask any questions. I dread going to the dentist, so going now makes it a whole lot easier!

I've been coming to the small Gurtner Dental offices for dental care all of my life, so I've had…read moreboth of the Gurtners - Maggie and Stephen - as my dentist at different points (one works primarily with kids, the other adults). They're definitely a great pair; I can only assume that I don't outright hate or fear going to the dentist as much as the average American because I've had relatively good experiences with these two. I won't even pretend that I've always been the best at taking care of my teeth (boy, was I a challenge to deal with when I had braces and did absolutely nothing in the ways of caring of my teeth!), but they don't hold it against me (openly anyway). These days though my visits are actually usually fast and pretty painless, with the occasional additional matter that requires a little more than a basic check-up. Whenever I come in the staff is always interested in hearing about new developments in my life, which is sweet of them. And the office, which isn't the biggest place in the world never seems too packed or noisy, which is a plus in my book considering that I can be a little stressed waiting for my appointment to start as I hope there isn't a new problem with my teeth. I definitely think this is a great little business run by a great pair of people, and I totally recommend this office to anyone in the area who's looking for a new dentist.

She made me feel at ease, checked and cleaned my teeth, and recommended a water flosser (which I am now using). Fast forward a few months, and I had a toothache while chewing certain foods. I called but Kate was fully booked, but her father, Edward, was able to squeeze me in. I was a little hesitant at first, but I decided to give him a shot so I could be seen same day. He also was very nice. My toothache was a bit of a mystery, but Edward said it could be one of three things, and explained them to me very carefully. Instead of rushing into anything, we are taking a wait and see approach to try and narrow down the exact cause. He wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic in case it developed into an infection. He wants me to call back if the pain persists and possibly go to a specialist. Overall, I appreciated his guidance. So far I am happy with both dentists in this office. I have a follow up appointment already scheduled with Kate in a few months. Cheers!!

I said I want to kinda save the tooth, he said ok see ya. And kicked me out of his office with a half drilled tooth and a prescription of antibiotics. I sat in his parking lot like what the f do I do now. I called innovative endodontics and they said it will be a couple weeks. I told them my story and they said come right now. I was in and out in less then 15 minutes and they said I may need a crown because of the damage mucha did. Not to mention I never had problems with this tooth until he tried to fill it a few weeks earlier and hit the root and killed it. After leaving muchas office i called and said they could get me into an endodontist in a month. I said no thanks I already had it done. She said oh by who. I told her and she said oh that's who did mine. That's was his wife. She don't even trust him to work on her mouth. Lmfao. Had the nerve to charge me 60 dollars for the visit cause he tried to bill my insurance and they denied him. I said f it I'll pay you the 60 to get you out my life after he hounded me calling for it.
