Love this spot! It was a little confusing at first because you are supposed to order at the little kiosk and then when they call your name you go choose your flavors but once you get through that part - great! We went during the world cup so they had a ton of flags for different countries hung up, such a vibe. The staff was helpful and let me and my friends try way too many flavors while we decided on what we wanted. We will be back!
I'm 100% sure this is the best gelato in Chicago! My favorite flavors are hazelnut and pistachio, and I always pair them with a double shot of espresso. Perfection!
Went for a late night treat around 10pm. Absolutely packed with no organization. We figured ordering was only happening at the kiosk, so we placed with no additional details given. No clear line, left to wait for name call. Heard the wait was 45 plus minutes from other guests with a line forming that stated an hr no order given. I watched a line for refunds build, it told 39 min for the first to be issued. There was constant yelling but 1 staff member to leave a walkway but there were so many waiting it wasn't possible. At times there was only 1 serving, sometimes 3. Most were not wearing gloves and often touching their face or hair. Took 49 min for our name to be called.
My friend took me here to try Amorino for the first time. It was super good! The girls working there were so nice and let me try several samples so I could decide the best flavors for us. We ended up getting some pistachio gelato, tiramisu gelato and the amarena gelato. We also had a raspberry macaron. The gelato was nice and creamy and it helped cool us off on a hot day.
I've been wanting to try Amorino for a while now and I was not disappointed! The kiosks were easy to use and the workers were patient as customers picked out their flavors. This location was very busy. I got the coffee, cherry, and mint chip flavors. They all worked very well together. Expensive but worth it for the experience!
What an incredible spot! I experienced the most amazing gelato I've ever tasted. The place is truly breathtaking, and the staff is incredibly talented, friendly, and attentive. During my four days in Chicago, I couldn't resist visiting every day to sample different flavors, and each visit was a delightful adventure. I even went twice in one day because everything was so irresistibly good; each flavor was perfectly crafted. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is outstanding, and the flavors are simply out of this world. This place feels like a hidden treasure that deserves widespread acclaim; it's definitely a location I'll never forget!
I've been wanting to try this rose ice cream for awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was conveniently located across from the Art Institute and Millennium Park. The service was great overall. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They have a special allergy kit that they will get if you have an allergy, and it prevents cross contamination. Unfortunately they had added an extra flavor without asking, and I didn't think to list that flavor as an allergy (I was more concerned about nuts), so they had to scrape off the ice cream. I'm not sure why they would do that-- their reasoning was that sometimes they recommend additional flavors, but I was surprised that they would add them without asking. The flavors were fresh and the rose shape was a very fun and cute idea. The seating area featured warm, relaxing colors and seemed like a nice place to sit. It was very busy, however.
I first discovered Amorino in Portugal... and now they're here. This is dangerous. Very, very dangerous. On a warm September day in Chicago, I introduced my sister to the magic, those beautiful rose-shaped scoops, almost too pretty to eat. Almost. We both stood there delighting in the creamy, intensely flavorful gelato like little girls again, instantly transported back to growing up in Buenos Aires. Some flavors just have that power, they melt and suddenly you're ten years old and life is simple. Smooth, rich, and beautifully crafted. If you have a weakness for good gelato, consider yourself warned.
Cute little cafe with such a cute atmosphere. Amorino was pretty good. Menu enticed with maroons, crepes, gelato, waffles, and sugar cones. They even had hot drinks like hot chocolates, espressos and macchiatos. Cold drinks consisted with smoothies and vegan shakes! Other options also. Cute little seating area for whatever your liking that very moment. Mine typically was a solo outing for lunch. Amorino was for the sweet tooth Dessert for the closing. Black leather booth seating with small coffee tables surrounding the cafe. Busy but I'm and out! I ordered the mini cone with pistachios and Amorino chocolate. Darn good! Smooth rich, creamy and more creamy! Hahaah! Really great ice cream! Check em out!!
Gelato is one of my favorite desserts. The floral design was a plus. Something that I had never had before. The employees were very welcoming and nice and patient. They let me try several different flavors before deciding which one I was going to go with. I also liked how you could choose more than one flavor per cone or cup. And it did not require an up charge. The place was pretty loud. It was very busy since it was a weekend after dinner. I did find a spot to sit with my group of friends. We were lucky. Bathrooms were clean I really liked the pistachio flavor and the coffee flavor.
Right across the bean. Lots of flavors to choose from. Pretty flower. Very busy but moves quickly
The first time I tried this was a long time ago in Italy. I remembered it being amazing and I thought it was the best gelato ever. I was so happy to have stumbled on this shop in Chicago! Unless my taste buds have changed or maybe the quality is different in America, but it did not bring back the same memories. The gelato is expensive for the amount that you get. With that price, you can totally satisfy your sweet tooth with a whole tub of Blue Bell ice cream from the store for less. The gelato was okay to me. The flavors were subtle and the texture was sort of icy. It wasn't as bold and creamy as I would have liked. The waffle was pretty good. The texture was crispy and light. It complimented well with the gelato. The store is super cute and decorated nicely. It's great for a date night or a special occasion. The customer service here is GREAT! Everyone was incredibly amicable. You can sample the flavors and even get UNLIMITED flavors in your cup/cone. Of course that means you get a smaller portion of each flavor as you increase the amount of flavors you get. I wish the sample sizes were a bit bigger because it was hard to taste the flavors with a tiny sliver. The employee who helped my family and me out was so patient and kind. We did try several flavors before deciding and he never looked annoyed or rushed us. Thank you! I also loved how we got complimentary hot cocoa before we left. That was really sweet and unexpected. It was perfect because it was super cold outside and we had planned to walk to the Bean. The warm drink made the walk more bearable, especially for my two younger boys. I think it's worth trying at least once, but it left more to be desired.
The gelato here was rich and flavorful and used real ingredients. The mango was my favorite but the pistachio had a good strong pistachio flavor. Indoor seating is limited and this place was busy but it was well worth the wait for the gelato. There is some outdoor seating, but with how humid it can get if you can wait or be patient for indoor seating it's a well ventilated store with AC
We need an Amorino in Arizona!!! Like seriously! How does this place not exist where I'm from! Immediately obsessed!! And if you are a fan of gelato, I'm sure you will love their stuff too!! My experience was a bit chaotic at first but after tasting Amorino I understood! We had just finished watching the symphony play at millennial park and i was craving a sweet treat, somewhere I've never had or can't get back home. And what do you know? We stumble upon Amorino! The crowd inside was a bit intense with people standing and huddled near the glass, I was overwhelmed and couldn't make out where the line started or finished! Thankfully one of the staff yelled out "if you want to order go to the kiosk to place an order and we will call your name". Finally some direction! After placing my order, it was roughly 15 minutes until they yelled out my name. I ordered a shake with their Dubai chocolate gelato! OMG!!!!!! Best shake I've ever had! Literally still chasing that taste! I'm so sad I didn't order two or a larger size! It was sweet just how I like it and chunky, the hazelnut chocolate was very decadent! I opted out of the whip cream because I knew it would be a bit too sweet with it. read more
Good place to get a sweet treat near Millennium Park! It was quite busy but staff worked well to go through everyone. Note that you should order on the kiosk, wait for them to call your name, then you can choose your flavors! Cute little place to stop at! They have decent seating in the back as well read more
Quick take: chaotic ordering system This shop is complete chaos in the most disorderly fashion. The ordering stations are in the back of the store and on the left side. The entrance is blocked by tons of people who have already ordered. Order and they call your name to build your order. The gelato melted immediately after walking outside. It was a race to eat it before it all ended up on the sidewalk. I'm not picky about gelato so it was meh. read more

One of my favorites, from Chicago to Paris. This place does not disappoint. Always a great choice for an after meal snack, mid day pick me up, or sweet treat at any time. Always busy, but check in at the kiosk and service will attend to you promptly. read more
Came here after a 5 mile run on a 75 degree weather day. This hit the spot. Got the pistachio and cheesecake and it was not too sweet making it a good dessert. The mango and caramel was also really good. For a little over $8 for a small, this is pretty average pricing (coming from NYC). You could also choose as many flavors as you want no matter the price. Overall, a great experience. read more
Been here during the summer where it can get a little busy but during the winter time they also have hot chocolate. The ambiance inside is so nice, didn't realize there's more seating around the corner until now. I really like how they greet you when you walk in and you can always try the gelato samples. The milk hot chocolate that I got was good with the whip cream but it's a little thick. My friend got their gelato hot chocolate and it was really thick after she finished the gelato but it was alright. read more

Walking through Chicago's humid weather was exhausting, so my family and I decided to go to Amorino for something refreshing and uplifting. Walking in, there's not a lot of seating inside, but there is some outside. They have a lot of kiosks for ordering which makes things easier and faster, and they call out your order number for when it's your turn. When we gor our ice cream, I feel like I was hit with a wave of refreshment. It tasted so good and smooth! I highly recommend coming here! read more

I ordered a single scoop which came with 3 different flavors. I chose the mango, pistachio and some other flavor that I can't recall. The scoop came with a macaron and I chose the lychee rose flavored macaron. The shop had a cafe vibe to it with lots of seating. You order on a kiosk and they call you up to the gelato bar by the name that you put the order under. You're able to sample the flavors before adding it to your cup or cone. A lot of the flavors were a bit too sweet for my liking, and the flavors that I chose weren't as sweet. The macaron tasted exactly like lychee rose. Service was decent. I would say this is a decent dessert spot considering it's open late so if you're craving a sweet treat late at night, then I would recommend! Otherwise, I would recommend going to other dessert spots as there are better options. read more
Made a quick stop here after seeing the Bean. I loved the gelato- definitely recommend trying hazelnut and raspberry. There's only one person working so it took awhile. I didn't appreciate his attitude- wouldn't help you with questions until we ordered from the Kiosk. The inside is cute and would totally recommend. read more
Last week I stopped by Amorino on Michigan Ave and got the Signature Gianduiotto cone, & chose Pistachio, Chocolate, and Amarena (cream with black cherries) for my gelato flavors. First of all, the cone itself was gorgeous. They shaped the gelato into a flower, and it was almost too pretty to eat. The Gianduiotto in the center was beyond lovely. It had just the right amount of dark chocolate and melted in the mouth. All the flavors I chose were rich, smooth, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The store was pretty busy (obviously) and the ordering process was slightly confusing at first (you order and pay at a kiosk, then head to the counter once they call your name), but the staff was friendly and patient. Regardless, I still dream about that gelato and I'm definitely going back to try more flavors. read more

Was craving gelato and had heard great things about this place. It was very busy though, but my group was lucky to snag a few tables in the very back after ordering. The place had high ceilings and large windows. It was pretty loud, but mainly because it was super busy. Service was great, as they let all of us try different flavors before purchasing. Would definitely come back!! read more
Pro tip: don't just get into the line at the door... fine the line to a kiosk where you place your "order". Here's the process; 1. Get to a kiosk. 2. Order the item and size that you want. 3. Pay on the kiosk. Here's the key part: 4. Wait for your name to be called... 5. THEN you tell the server which flavors you want for each item. And of course; 6. ENJOY the best gelato experience you'll likely ever have. It gonna lie, it seems super chaotic, but once you're in and enjoying your dessert, it's totally worth it! There's not much seating inside, but at least it's got A/C, and a few couches and tables inside. Overall so worth the chaos! read more
Such a great place for a gelato snack. I picked this place due to being super close to the hotel i am staying at. The variety of flavors is great with so many different options. The gelato is very flavorful. The staff are super helpful. oh I would definitely go back here again. read more

The product is good. Let's start there. And the staff is friendly. The process, however, is pure chaos. It's not clear where to start. There's not a board that tells you what options you have so everyone crowds around the glass trying to decide what to get and no one knows what's happening. Chaos is not a good business model and should I return again and they are busy I will spare myself the headache. If you are visiting, order first - you don't need to know what flavors you want at that point. Then... you will eventually be called up and someone will ask for your flavor choices. read more
Authentic gelato, and incredible menu with a variety of options for everyone! I love coming here whenever I visit Chicago. Even if its cold outside! This treat is worth it. There is ALWAYS a long line and big crowd, but thats part of the experience. T always try something different, and I am always satisfied. They offer seasonal flavors as well as sorbet for vegans. Great price point, and great service! read more
This is a great location for a warm hot chocolate or coffee after visiting the bean/ park. There are so many options to choose from. I went with the milk hot Chocolate which tasted like chocolate pudding. It was incredible. Their gelato was also top notch. If you want a sweet treat this is the spot to go. Service was on top of their game at 8:30pm on a Saturday night. read more
A nice gelato spot located right across from Millennium Park and famous Bean, their flavors do not disappoint! The size small cup actually held a decent amount of gelato. They let you pick as many flavors as you want and fit it into whatever size cup or cone you order. They also do those gelato roses! I had the blueberry cheesecake, pistachio, and caramel, which were all fantastic. They have a lot of fruity flavors too, like blood orange, mango, and passion fruit. I find they are slightly overpriced but it is what it is. read more
Slow lines and inconsistent service.. I ordered in a group with 2 others and our portions were way off even though we all ordered the same size (and the same server for all three). You order at a kiosk at the back of the store and wait for them to call your name. Very crowded at night, I would recommend a different location. read more

One summer day in Chicago and this place was so packed. I've had their gelatos before and it was just incredible! Great flavours and so worth the long wait. We tried the Standard Cup: Pistachio, Hazelnut and Coconut. All 3 flavours were super delicious. Ambiance was small, 5-6 tables, considering the foot fall was so much. The day we went it was incredibly crowded and the people working in the store did feel overwhelmed to handle the people coming in constantly. Would definitely recommend to get a little more staff during summer time, since it gets so busy. read more
