That was three weeks ago... and the only reason I called to schedule again for today was for the growth... the nails still looked terrific! Carmen is the absolute best dip/powder technician I've ever had. There is no drilling to remove a previous dip manicure - they take the time to do it right and soak. And the way Carmen layers the powder is meticulous and fabulous. No super-thick fake-looking nails when she's done. Tom is great at working me in with a weird schedule, Quan is excellent and knowledgeable... and of course Carmen... Highly recommend.

Plus, I didn't get the pedicure I was paying for, for which they apologized, but come on! When I request the $80 pedi and you give me the express? Your loss! The manicure dip? They do not use the electric tools, so the soak and scrape took forever. Put the wrong color on my nails. Had to re-do it, since he didn't show me until one hand was done. I picked a pink... how did you get orangey-brown? 3 hours later I was leaving, vowing to NEVER RETURN. It obviously is meant for the caddy ladies who meet there on Tuesdays ACH week and know each other. For what so got, I just shook my head.

After waiting a few minutes, the lady called me over to start my nails. As soon as she started removing my nail color about three more customers entered; this was clearly overwhelming the technician. She stopped doing my nails at least a dozen times to try to call other technicians to come to work. She eventually removed all my nail polish, but in the middle of filing them, she had the audacity to tell me that she simply couldn't finish my nails at that time, because she had to attend to the people who just walked in. I asked if they had appointments, she said yes after a long pause. I wonder if that was true. She told me she will understand if I don't want to come back. I really hate having to update this review, I really do…read more This place is under a new owner, Mindy, who is seemingly overwhelmed and not organized. Let me try to arrange my thoughts in a fluid manner: The first time she did my nails, she did a wonderful job. The second time she did my nails, she did an okay job. The third time I went in, a guy did my nails, he was extremely slow and nervous. During this time, Mindy's appointment showed up and Mindy was gone to take her boys bowling. The nail tech had to call her, at which point her appointment sat there for over 25 minutes. When Mindy finally got to the shop, she laughed and said that she forgot. When he shellac'd my nails, the machine kept shorting out and I told him that, but he completely ignored me. The fourth time, the same guy did my nails and again, he seemed nervous, to the point I finally asked him how long he has been doing nails, to which he told me, "oh, I don't know. I've been doing them so long I lost track." Serious? HUGE flag went up for me. He then shellac'd my nails. Second day in to having shellac on my nails already the shellac has chipped. I go into get it fixed. Fourth day in to having shellac on my nails and gain, peeling. This time a different nail. Seven days into my nail fill and two nails have broken off and one shellac'd nail is peeled. I purchased nail removing acetone and have since removed all of the nails. What a waste of time and money. I should not have to go back over and over for nails that were not done correctly. This place will be defunct soon, unfortunately. Any suggestions for a new nail salon?
