We talked a little in the beginning, then went silent (as I prefer this), she was very good at deciphering what I preferred as a first time client. She asked me of any problem spots/areas to avoid, and checked a couple times to see if things were feeling good. The amount and duration of pressure were great, and she even did a little cupping which I was very pleasantly surprised did not hurt as I thought it would! Overall this was a great massage, especially as I felt Rachel read me/my preferences very well and did a great job in meeting them. The salon itself is gorgeous--very impressive lobby with a staircase on either side leading you upstairs! I also loved the sauna/steam room offering, and was pleasantly surprised to find a shower as well, which was stocked with any supplies you may need there. It was a very private setting. I had the worst experience I e ever had as a customer in a salon! The girl that did my perm had no…read moreidea what she was doing! I had previously colored my hair, which I told her before hand. She didn't use the correct, for colored hair permanent mis so it totally fried all of my hair! I had to cut it off myself to one inch all over to get it back to healthy! And worst of all i didn't even have a curl in my hair! She said it was her first time and I believe it! She even got the solution in my eyes and then nothing to wash my eyes out with!
