I respect that it comes with the location, but I think it would be beneficial to cap the amount of customers coming in and create a waiting area. That might sound excessive, but we had to leave since we couldn't find a space to look at what was on the racks. I would have probably purchased something if I would have had a bit of breathing room. I went with avocado toast for my meal, which hit the spot as it always does. I've had my share of avocado toasts in my lifetime and this was a good one. It was huge so when it first came out I thought she could have shared it with her friend, but she was super hungry and it was really tasty so she did a pretty good job eating it on her own. Service was fast and attentive and (again) my only regret is not getting to do more shopping...I'll be back!

We were only in Chicago for 3 days and we managed to come to Alice & Wonder twice…read more Before our trip my friend Heidi had been sending us Tiktoks about going to Alice & Wonder to get our souvenir hat, you actually pick a hat of your choice and add some cute little patches, so I was really excited even though I cannot wear hats, my head size does not allow for it unfortunately. But I was able to get a couple of patches that I'm going to patch on to my book tote. The team here was super sweet, they make sure you like the placement of the patches before pressing them on, my friends made some really cute hats that I'll have to get photos. I ended up getting a hotdog patch that said Chicago and a spicy patch, a pair of socks and magnet, they give you cute little tote bags so you can shop throughout the city and add more to it. Really good value I think, they did say I can press it onto my beret at home instead so I might do that with one of the patches. Definitely a must check out, this location was a 10 minute walk from our hotel but there are a couple of other locations as well.

I had to return a sweater and I went to browse a few items to use for the remaining balance of my gift card, a very nice woman help me pick out a few options that she thought we might look good with the clothes that I already had in my hand. She had also gotten me a fitting room, but I had to ask the other employees for help with the fitting as she was more on the floor sales -which is totally totally fine. Finally found a dress that I liked and checkout was fine but I live in Chicago, so I definitely should know that there is a bag tax. Then she tried to put me in a dressing room that had some kind of dried liquid (reddish brown on the seat) . I pointed it out and said I didn't want to be in a dirty dressing room.. no apology just mumbling to herself as she put me in a different room. Then when I'm trying on the bras in the changing room, a male employee without knocking, unlocked and opened my door. I have no problem with the other Nordstrom locations, but this one is terrible and I think it's the Management.
