I totally get it that HFH does not want junk they cannot sell. But what they did accept from me I had to plea to get help to even come take a look, and to help me unload. I will preface and say I have dealt with Jimmy here in the past and he's wonderful. I spent entirely too much money in a day and for the most part got good deals. But, I came back here recently and amongst all the things purchased, one of the items was a vase. He (Matthew) didn't bother telling me things were "final sale" or I would have asked to see if it actually held water. Now, they won't even exchange the item. There are no visible cracks on it - it really is a beautiful vase but this is just awesome I spent $50 on something that will be going in the trash. It's useless at this point. The worst part, is when I called to tell him what happened, he pretty much accused me of breaking it. Why would I break my own vase that I just purchased? It looks brand new - it just doesn't hold water so clearly there's a crack somewhere. Just making everyone is aware of the "buyer beware" thing they have going on that they FAIL to tell people about prior to purchase. Clearly they don't value a customer that has spent $3000 in 2 months there. You would think that Matthew, who was the salesperson and also the manager, would have better people skills as well versus acting like a child on the phone.

We had a big delivery to Nicholson Canyon and although the big trucks could not make it up the narrow steep hill she quickly made arrangements to have an outside vendor with smaller trucks do the delivery. I am so grateful for her service. In addition Victoria, Sales Manager is very knowledgeable on their outdoor furniture. She made my purchase of cushions for the 4 club chairs we bought at the recent sale very easy. Their outdoor furniture is definitely the best quality and their wholesale price and sales price is definitely competitive. While the furniture is undeniably beautiful, the customer service was surprisingly poor. I purchased five items during their anniversary sale, where everything was sold "as is." After dealing with an overcharge on my credit card, I was told I'd receive a call the next day to schedule delivery, which I paid $99 for. That call never came until I followed up on social media three days later. It wasn't until August 27 that I finally heard from someone to schedule the delivery. On September 11, the delivery arrived, but one of the pieces was not what I had ordered. I immediately called customer service and sent photos of the correct item. They did offer to refund the incorrect item, but instead of taking ownership, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I also requested a refund of the $99 delivery fee, since the service I paid for (delivering the correct items) wasn't fulfilled. Later, I saw some internal emails by mistake, and it became clear they had no intention of refunding the delivery fee. The whole interaction left me feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why they wouldn't just refund such a small fee to keep a customer. Despite being excited about the furniture itself, this experience has soured me on purchasing from them again. My advice: take photos of everything you buy and be prepared for potential issues. If they're willing to lose a customer over $99, it raises concerns about their overall business practices.
