It's easy to access off the feeder, and the parking lot is laid out in a way that helps reduce traffic. The mcdonalda here has its own drivethrough. It also has a big seating area and several ordering screens so you don't get stuck in a line. The restrooms are spacious and clean. I wish they had paper towels in addition to the air dryers but unfortunately they don't. The convenience store has all the usual things and some extra gift shopping items. They do now have electric car chargers ! However, they could use more gas pumps. They have a reasonable amount but here (more than other places) people will leave their car parked in a spot to go inside and there's often a wait. One of my favorite things (as someone who travels with dogs) is they have a lot of nice grassy areas not directly on the busy feeder road.

This may be the last Buc-ee's we visit as our road trip is nearing its end. It's supposed to be…read morethe largest one but one of the other ones we visited seemed the same size for both the pumps and store. This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Before leaving Doc had us take a selfie and a nice gentleman also took a couple for us too.

Just back from weekend in Flatonia for annual Czhilispiel cookoff, stayed at Carefree Inn next door…read more(just great), and noticed the Exxon place nearby had little grill in back. Store itself is bit bleak, but the breakfast was sooo good! Ordered 4 different tacos, had to wait a bit since they made to order, and so glad we did! Large tacos filled with fresh ingredients - sausage, bacon, potatoes and beans, yum. They also have menudo on weekends, and saw several patrons with large steaming bowls - looked and smelled wonderful (next time will get for sure!). They also have burgers, salads, carne guisada, and enchiladas...all looked great. Way better than McDonald's across street! Will be back!

Definitely not your typical dry, flavorless gas station. This chicken is crunchy, tender, and juicy. It's very reasonably priced. I definitely would recommend it for when you don't have the time for stopping a the more popular spots. The service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting and convenient.

I can't say enough kind words about Sunny and the kind customer, Alex that brought me gas. Sunny reached out to a customer, Alex (I'd post his last name but I didn't ask permission), at his store who graciously took time out of his own day to bring me gas where I was stuck on the highway. He did not have to do that; nor did Sunny have to ask anyone. There wasn't anything in it for them. They both showed their true kindness and are people that work to keep human kindness moving forward. I'm not in Lockhart very often but will definitely go to this gas station when I need gas or a drink.

They are known for their kolaches and pastries. They also have an assortment of goods including clothing, beverages, deli and a whole host of snacks. I purchased two pigs-n-a-blanket and pecan cinnamon roll. So delicious... Saturday was quite busy at the bakery. It formed a pretty pleasant environment.

They have a nice store, it's a little more than a convenient store and bakery. There's all types of homemade pastries of breads along with a deli. I enjoy stopping here. It's just hard to pick out what you want cause I would like to have one of everything. Once you're able to pick out what you want the trick is getting it to a destination without you eating all of it. I have to put it in the back on the floorboard so it's out of my reach.
