One of the better gas stations, but that means it's always busy…read more I've stopped at this gas station for years and am always very impressed with how they up keep it. It's easy to access off the feeder, and the parking lot is laid out in a way that helps reduce traffic. The mcdonalda here has its own drivethrough. It also has a big seating area and several ordering screens so you don't get stuck in a line. The restrooms are spacious and clean. I wish they had paper towels in addition to the air dryers but unfortunately they don't. The convenience store has all the usual things and some extra gift shopping items. They do now have electric car chargers ! However, they could use more gas pumps. They have a reasonable amount but here (more than other places) people will leave their car parked in a spot to go inside and there's often a wait. One of my favorite things (as someone who travels with dogs) is they have a lot of nice grassy areas not directly on the busy feeder road.

This may be the last Buc-ee's we visit as our road trip is nearing its end. This time instead of exploring their packaged snack products I thought about how much room we have left in our car and flying it home so I decided against it. I did buy 3 of their small cup size Blue Bell dark chocolate ice cream- for all of us but the cashier gave only one spoon. It tasted so good I had hubs go get me a large size one since I didn't eat a normal lunch and it was past 5 pm. While I waited in the car with the grandpup. I wanted to find some Bucee items for Doc since she's been our road trip driver plus made all the arrangements for hotels, tickets to parks, dinner show, etc. We all got different things: hubs got small bags of jerky, Doc got her favorite brisket sandwich to share with her Frenchie, a sausage on a stick and 3 peach cobblers for each of us to try. I like the large amount of clean restroom stalls plus soap. The cone of warmed sugary pecans and cinnamon bites were a sweet snack- finally gone from the first Buc-ee's a week ago. Our lunch consisted of brisket sandwich, chicken tenders & fries, and the three meat sandwich. I'm pretty sure their meat is not a true cut of brisket. Its consistency is like mush, and not like muscle fibers. There was nothing lean brisket vs fatty brisket. The brisket had holes throughout, making it look even more like an ultra processed deli meat or even lab grown. I was disgusted, to say the least. They also have ZERO options for people conscious of the ingredient lists. We bought popcorn and the bag was open at the bottom. I opted the top and it was super stale. I realized it was open on the bottom and the store game me a hard time about exchanging it. It's pretty clear the sealing process failed for this bag. We won't be shopping here anymore, nor will we eat their food. But if you're visiting Texas and come across one, it's a fun stop to pass time.

Prettier than the Mona Lisa and much tastier too! My friends and family and I always make a point to stop by here, write down our order, and wait to dive into hamburger bliss. Manager was rude saying I didn't know how to operate a fuel pump. accusing me of being on the phone. I was watching my gauge and watching the pump but I couldn't see the nozzle overflowing and I couldn't hear it due to the wind and it was very cold or I would have been standing by the pump. He couldn't comprehend English and I called 911 to figure out what to do about the 10gallons of fuel underneath my truck and trailer with horses. time had passed to where it was evaporating but should have had kitty litter thrown in it. legally his pump should turn off, legally he should have cleaned up the spill. I'm not certain he is legally in this country. I reported him to every Government department I could think of involving rules and regulations on fuel nozzles and spills. I will not be going back and until his pumps are fixed, it is dangerous for anyone to be near the fuel pumps.
