Came into town, took our daughter to dinner, ordered a Margarita Pizza...the waitress brought us out a Greek Pizza...mushrooms, feta cheese... our daughter was allergic to mushrooms:/ We immediately told the waitress that this was the wrong pizza, she said and would need to speak to her Manager...another person came out and said we had two options: 1. Eat the pizza OR 2. Order another pizza and pay for both....WHAT!?!? We were starving...drove 8hrs from VA. I wanted to just walk out but we stayed, because options were limited at that point. Just disappointed that it was handled like this. Will not be coming back.... read more

Nice little spot in Macon. It was super convenient because it was right across the parking lot from the Marriott hotel. Was greeted immediately and service was good. Drinks were only $4. They had a lot of beer specials and appetizers were half off. I went with the works pizza and it was really good. Served piping hot and with a delicious thin crust. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. There were a lot of televisions to watch various games. They also have a rooftop seating area which was nice to hang out on. Follow me on ig @sweeet_maloy. Bottom line is I would definitely eat here again on my next visit to Macon. read more

Came to the roof tonight on the 4th of July and I knew it would either be empty or packed! It was empty but it was great (and the only??) roof here in macon. The xxx hot wings are delicious and they have a really good craft beer list. Amazing breeze and Mercer area is really clean new and nice. I'll definitely be back to check out the live music trivia and other specials amici offers read more

The waitress was very friendly. The pizza was ok but I think it's because I just didn't like what I ordered. The Buffalo chicken dip was to die for! I will try something different next time! read more

I would've gave this place 0 stars if I could. Food belonged in a trash can. I ordered 12 Honey "Garlic" Wings and a Box of Fries. The wings tastes like PURE honey when I bite into them. No garlic, disgusting. So basically, they should've called them "Honey" Wings. Additionally, the wings were hard and the meat did not taste good. Strike 1/2. The Box of Fries weren't even a "Box", it was more like a Large Fry from McDonalds. Wasn't enough to share for 2 people, considering I PAID $6.50 FOR A BOX!? Strike 2/2. Overall, horrible food that not even your dog deserves to eat. Never go here, ever. read more

Ordered a pizza last night. Pizza came out extremely undercooked and raw. Told the waitress and she went to tell her manager what the issue was. She returned and said she would take the pizza we have already been eating on and handling and reheat it rather than remake us a pizza. The pizza that we had had in our mouths and hands all over went BACK into the pizza oven that all pizzas are baked in. These standards are simply unacceptable ESPECIALLY during the Covid era. Needless to say the manager never came out to apologize and make things right. Paid full price for a pizza that we did not even leave with. read more

Foods good. Atmosphere is good. And beer selection is pretty good. I highly recommend the spinach dip read more

Service was friendly. I personally just felt like some of the tables still felt like they were too close together, and both wait staff members our party interacted with had their masks half way down their face. One even took it off completely to talk which I was not comfortable with at all. My slice of pizza was cold and there was barely any sauce or cheese. The toppings were cold and there was not a lot of taste. My salad was average. Friendly service but I didn't personally feel safe eating here at this time, and the food was bland and not worth the money. read more

Pizza wasn't great or good. The atmosphere is great and I'm sure this a great drinkers spot. I will have to try something else from the menu next time if I can convince the wife or family to give it another chance. The bricks pizza is way better and it just around the corner. Just my opinion. read more

The atmosphere was nice. Several big tv's with baseball and a good tap selection. Unfortunately all the taps were down when I stopped in. Ordered twelve wings and was told I could not split sauces (six Xhot and six XXhot). Never went a wing place that wouldn't split like this. Guess I had to buy two batches of six which would have been three bucks more than the twelve? Oh well six it was. Wings came out luke warm. I used to cook at a bar and will tell you that if they are luke warm throughout they've been sitting for a while and have been "repurposed". Don't know if that's worse than under cooked where they come out hot outside and frozen inside? Either way I took one bite and put them aside. The bartender told me she'd have them warmed up?! Really...for the second or maybe third time? Don't think so. The correct answer would be something like "So sorry let me put a new batch down for you". Anyhow this place looks great on the surface but the food and service was stale and limp. read more

Fun place but not for a foodie. Dined on the roof top and the sun can be harsh. Wine is served in plastic cups (boo) so just grab a beer instead. Food was okay but nothing special. Business trip so it was fine for casual conversation with coworkers before returning to hotel. read more

Came in for happy hour and I was not disappointed! I had a bbq chicken calzone and Georgia peach wings. I enjoy all of my food except the banana peppers ( I was t paying attention). I also had a peach honey jack drink and it was perfect! read more

Amici Macon - Bar - Chicken Wings Near Me - Macon, Georgia

Customer service is absolutely horrible. Our server was rude and had a bad attitude. The food is decent , but the server made us uncomfortable and ruined the experience. 1/10. read more

The staff was more interested in the sports on the televisions than the patrons. (Yes, I know it's a sports bar.) We ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo. It was very oily and the noodles were tough and chewy. The salad was okay, but had to ask for the garlic knots. We were not offered drink refills until the very end when the bill was presented. On the plus side, we were seated promptly and it was clean. read more

Amici is a fun option for craft-style pizza and beer in Macon. I am not the biggest pizza fan, but I visited this spot on a business trip out of convenience as it was walking distance from my hotel. Even on a Monday evening, the atmosphere was quite loud, due to several rounds of music-themed bingo that were being played. My colleague and I even partook in a few rounds- a great way to liven up a business trip. We started with a couple local beers from their relatively extensive beer list and then ordered from their equally as extensive pizza menu. I had a slice of the Summer in Turin, a hearty white vegetarian pie, and my colleague had a personal margherita pie. My slice was delicious- with the fire-baked, Neapolitan style crust being particularly good. I also ordered a simple Caesar salad sans bacon, with a sweet but satisfying tomato basil vinaigrette instead of the typical Caesar dressing. Additionally, the service was especially friendly and attentive. Amici is a surprisingly good spot for a fun, laid-back night out in Macon with many beer options and pizza made with care and quality ingredients. Enjoy! read more

Their food is excellent, but their upstairs bar staff after the shift change left you much desired service. Their phones seemed important than the customers. read more

I ordered a burger week burger to go. I was so uncomfortable picking up my food. It was packed wall to wall. No spacing at all. It was so packed, it was hard to walk to the bar to get my food. The burger wasn't that great. Not much flavor. read more

Oh, I wanted to like this place, especially because it was close by the Mercer campus and because of the cheekiness of the name -- Friends Pizza. It also got excellent recommendations from colleagues' college-age children who told us that we had to go. Well, by the middle of dinner, we agreed with the idea - -we had to GO -- but not, perhaps, with the meaning that our colleagues' children intended! First of all, we were a party of ten, and I am definitely making allowances for that. However, we went on a Monday night when the restaurant was not busy and there were only a couple of other patrons, and we had a reservation -- in other words, there should have been some preparation. Our server was personable and very friendly, but that was it. It took fifteen minutes to get even water, and another twenty minutes after that for the staff to begin taking our orders. In, I remind you, a mostly empty restaurant. When the appetizers arrived, no additional serving spoons were offered for the artichoke dip. The top layer of cheese was so thick that it blunted any attempt to dip, and when we finally scooped it out, the remaining artichoke spinach dip was greasy and oily. When our orders finally came, they were often given to the wrong person, and in several cases had to be returned because they were wrong. One colleague had to send her seared ahi over a green salad back three times -- the tuna (which she had requested well done) was mostly raw, and it had the wrong dressing. Even after the third time, the correct dressing was on the side, but the salad itself had not been re-made, and the wrong dressing remained on it. My seared ahi was slightly better cooked, but the server brought the wrong dressing on the side (there were only two, and they had a 50/50 chance of getting it right). The greens were wilted and in places appeared to be getting very far past their prime, with patches of decayed spots. The whole felt greasy, not something I associate with salad. All of us came away feeling as if we needed a good wash. The restaurant is convenient - -right off I-75 -- and close to campus. The food might be fine if one is drinking quite a lot of alcohol or hasn't had a wide experience. However, none of us had any wish to return to it. read more

All in all, I'm pretty disappointed in my order. Which is sad, because I've tried other amicis and have no complaints. Caesar salad with no dressing, even though when ordering there was an option to choose a dressing if you wanted anything OTHER THAN Caesar. So I didn't click an option and I got a dry salad. I also ordered spaghetti marinara...probably the worst I've ever had. The meatballs were burned on top, but cold....how does that even happen? I ended up wasting $23 and dumped my order in the garbage. Never again. read more

I'm going to sound like an absolute Karen, but I don't care at this point. We came here to eat on the upstairs patio and were told we couldn't (while we were leaving people were going up there, so not real sure what the criteria is for them to allow you to sit up there). Disappointing, but with 3 children we weren't loading up and going somewhere else. The person who took our drink orders got them wrong. Ok-it happens, no big deal. The waitress brought out the kids food-I asked for a refill. 10 minutes go by and no refill, no food for the adults. Another 15 minutes and our food comes out-still no refill. One of the orders was wrong. He decided to cancel his order completely, I remind the waitress I need a refill and she asks if I want it to go (I had literally just gotten my food). The bill was 53 for all of us-I give her my card. It comes back $10 more. I ask for a receipt before signing it. She had charged me an 18% gratuity tax because we were a party of 6. 3 of those 6 were young children. This place was the biggest disappointment. Between the bad service, the price of food ($3 for a kids drink), the added gratuity was absolutely ridiculous. I will not be back. There are way too many pizza restaurants in the area to waste your time and money here. read more

This was by far the worst experience at a restaurant I've ever had. Granted we had a large group, but the place was not packed. It took over 2.5 hours to get some low quality food. We had some problems with the check and that added another 45 minutes to leave. Overall this place sucked and I would not recommend coming to this place what so ever! read more

This is a place for the guys to hang out and have a good time with finger food and alcohol. Don't expect fine dinning. I had 5 traditional hot wings and a slice of pizza. The wings were ok but I won't be ordering it again unless I had a few beers in me first. The slice of cheese pizza was horrible, no flavor, the pizza dough wasn't cooked all the way. Its something no one should order. My daughter ordered the calamari which was great and my wife got the Italian sub. She ordered the Italian sub cold but we found out later that all their subs are made hot. The manger came and told us they were remaking the sub cold and implied that we should have told our waitress to make it cold which I instantly told him, we told her 3 times to make the sandwich cold. The waitress was sweet and was very polite and always kept our glass full. The only thing that concerned us is that they sat 2 people in a booth right behind our booth without and wall barrier. I thought under covid , they needed to separate the customers, guess not. The employees all wore mask and polite. The restaurant doeshave a pretty descent kids menu and their restrooms were clean. I won't rush to eat here again but I would come back for a drink. read more

had a terrible experience last night for my fiancées birthday, they were doing trivia night, whatever, but not an excuse for bad service. food was not good, 2 of us got the pasta, i've had better chef boyardee than what was served to us. waitress forgot our appetizers, but she made that right. we were barely checked on, and had to ask multiple people for things because our waitress was rare to be found. won't be back until these things have been fixed. read more

I've been coming to this place since they opened, more than a dozen times. They are inconsistent. I usually get a Margherita pizza and a wedge salad. Today's pizza was bad. They need to have written directions for the cook so that all the cooks use the same quantity and quality of ingredients. It's supposed to be mozzarella cheese, basil, and tomatoes. Today's pizza was some awful yellow cheese with a tiny bit of basil, a spoonful of tomato and that yellow cheese. If they didn't have fresh mozzarella they shouldn't sell the pizza. I drove 15 minutes each way in a storm to patronize a local place during a pandemic, and they don't seem to care. read more

This weekend, I tried to visit Amici with my emotional support dog, a 10lb Yorkie who stays in a stroller that is completely enclosed and zipped. He is honestly better behaved than most people. I travel with all of his documentation and he has always been welcomed at Amici until recently. If from day one they told us that Murphy wasn't allowed it would be one thing, but I'd say we've been there at least 20 times with him since they opened. About a month ago, we went in and sat at a high top table...we never got served so we left. We chalked it up to Covid, and didn't give it a second thought until we tried to go back again this weekend. We were met at the door by the hostess who refused to let us in. She then got a few servers and before you know it there were about seven people being extremely combative about allowing us in with the dog (remember, he is in a stroller). I offered documentation that I always carry with me and they refused to look at it. I honestly couldn't believe the way we were being treated and spoken to! We had always been welcome there before and show our appreciation by tipping very generously. So we left and went to Jags (who welcomed us with open arms) and we had an amazing meal. All of the parents and players usually go to Amici after Saturday games, but this weekend we went to Jags. Amici, you lost a great customer. Oh, I almost forgot, we booked a graduation party at Jags too...I guess it pays to treat people with respect. read more

This was my first time eating here. I have heard the advertisement on The Creek FM radio station many times and wanted to try it. The first thing I noticed was a strong odor of bleach when I entered.
