Terrible customer service! There was a mistake with my order so I called Amicci's in order to reconcile it. Initially they tried to dismiss me altogether saying"that was Uber's mistake not ours". I had to argue and press hard just to get them to attempt to help me. When the girl on the phone finally got her manager instead of trying to fix my order he offered me a discount in the pizza. I was adamant that I didn't want a discount, what I wanted was the pizza that I ordered. He assumed that I was trying to scam them and treated me like a scammer instead of a customer. I finally convinced him after pressing very hard to send me another pizza and I sent back the other pizza. If I were the type to take no for an answer I never would have gotten my pizza because he tried to deny me several times during the process. This was the worse example of customer service I have encountered. I will never eat at Amicci's again and you shouldn't either. read more

I don't know what happened, but I'm starting to understand the other bad reviews. Our last couple of orders, they have totally screwed up our food, and one time they even dropped our entire order (accidentally, but still) on our front porch. The portions are also extremely inconsistent - some nights the meatball sub will have four meatballs, other nights nine or ten. Our food has been cold a few times, which makes no sense considering they're less than five minutes away. Step it up, guys. read more

Without a doubt the best pizza you can get in Detroit for your money. I live in Midtown and my roommates and I always buy from here. Their pizza always tastes so great and fresh. I love their prices too, you can get a medium with any one topping for just $5 carryout. I usually drive out to get it, but I've never had a problem using their delivery service on lazy days. The man on the other end of the telephone told me "Ok, that'll be 45 minutes ." I placed the order at 7:13pm. I'm waiting on my order. So at 9:20pm I decided to just Call and Cancel my order. This place is amazing, they have an extensive very diverse menu. They have something for everyone so it's not hard to find something you want to eat, no matter what you're in the mood for. This is by far my favorite pizza joint near my apartment (I live in New Center) for both delivery and pickup. The location is family owned, the customer service is fantastic, the delivery has always been hot and quick... and Amicci's serves some of the best comfort food around, what more could ya ask for? I personally always go for the flipster and tater hots when I'm hungover, and that paired with a can of pop or some pedialyte (depending on how bad the hangover is) always does the trick! I'm surprised to see all of the negative reviews about Amicci's. I have ordered from them many times and my order has always been correct and delicious when delivered to my door. Maybe my time is coming but it hasn't so far. Last time I ordered was two Sundays ago. I had family over for cards and we ordered pizza, wings, and salad. Only my roommate and I had eaten Amicci's before, but the whole group commented that everything was very good. BBQ Wing dinner and told the man that Id like some Jerk sauce on the side. He then repeated and I had to correct him and said a side of jerk sauce. Had it delivered, came bang on time too. The problem is that half my wings are jerk flavored and half bbq flavored ._. Not the first time my order was screwed up. Great place that's been around since I was a kid. I personally eat here regularly and it's nice because they have a variety of menu items to choose from. I love the deepdish pizza and the steak flipster. Delivery sometimes runs behind schedule but I understand that restaurants get busy and sometimes it can't be avoided. My children love the round pizza and cheese bread and the Italian flipster. And they just recently added a mobile app for convenient ordering from your cellphone which makes things super easy for me because I hate talking on the phone. read more
