First and foremost, these guys are remarkably professional in an industry littered with poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. I consider myself lucky to have found them when we needed our toilets changed for a better design that would utilize less water for not only the financial aspect but also the environmental impact. Daniel, our person of contact for AmGreen came a week prior to inspect and measure all logistical data needed and the following week arrived exactly as he said in the specified time with a crew of 6-7 men including himself to remove and replace and reseal all the toilets all in one day. From my understanding they are very much in high demand for the service, skill and product they are providing. They do many other projects as well which is wonderful news because I wouldn't go any other way than AmGreen. In the end, a company that communicates to customers as eloquently as AmGreen is where the worth of a company lies. read more

This company is an utter fail. Been working with them since Oct. They promised a quick process, said very routine. After 6 month delay, still it done. We revised agreement to install within 30 days after permit. Supposedly permit in hand, yet cannot finish. Now some other garbage issue that they won't disclose. Now 8 months later, still no working panels. Buyer beware. These guys are non responsive. They guys don't act professional. read more

Am Green installed commercial solar for my building in 2015. I have recently problem one of my Inverter. Of course we have manufacture warranty and they sent the new Inverter. Am Green replace the Inverter free of charge and complete the full inspection and re set up the monitoring system too. It takes several days but they don't charge at all. Now we have everything work perfect and I'm so happy !!! read more

I bought a Tesla 7 months ago and so far the cost of charging the car and the utility bills has been around 30 dollars. I am happy knowing that going solar is what made this possible. If anyone I know wants to go solar, I'll recommend them to AmGreen. read more

I remember that my warehouse building's electric bill used to be $700-$1100/ month but for the past year with solar, it became $70 -160 / month. I am very satisfied with my utility bill savings. Customer service has also been excellent. AmGreen's technician came to reprogram and sync the panels with my new router in a day's notice. I definitely counted on the right place for solar and will recommend AmGreen to other commercial property owners! read more

I thought it was too good to be true but it was even better!! The toilets that were installed for free are high quality and were professionally installed by a great crew. Thanks for a job well done! read more

It's been already six years since AmGreen installed solar on my old home. I moved to a new house two years ago but I remember I had the solar through a loan. The current home owners liked the solar system so much that they were willing to pay the remaining loan balance to own the house. Loan transfer was easier than I had expected and Amgreen was a huge help through that. Hope to do solar on my new house with AmGreen! read more

Consultant Jeff was very accomodating and made sure I would have an accurate proposal that reflected my usage amount but also the extra electricity I would need for living with more family members. Comparing AmGreen's proposal with two other proposals, the numbers were more conservative and did not exaggerate numbers like the electric bill escalation rate to puff up estimated savings. The honesty and knowledgeable consulting impressed me. Pricewise, AmGreen is more upper tier but the comprehensive warranty is what convinced me. The installation process was also very easy; the work crew gave me no problems with scheduling. Amgreen really delivered on all fronts! Thank you (: read more

I am very grateful for Amgreen's ability to install SunPower for a great price. The company has been very professional and sincere in its efforts to exceed my expectations, from my electricity bill savings to the customer service that has been kind and reliable. I recommend Amgreen Solar for my family and friends interested in solar. This was a great experience. read more

We installed our solar system with Amgreen Solar five years ago. My house is in the La Mirada area and I live with my two daughters. I can't say enough how excellent solar has been for me and my family. Through the pandemic, I have worked remotely from home, and every summer, my family has generously used the air conditioner (since going solar). Despite the increased expenditure of energy from everyone being at home and more months of needing AC (thanks to climate change), AmGreen's product has held up to every standard and expectation. My monthly bill has been in the neighborhood of 10 dollars (the basic utility service fee) for the past FIVE years. Solar is a must for families. Even more notably, I am very grateful for the warm and kind customer service I have had every time I called. The team at AmGreen are always so quick to help, but I want to give a special shout out to Jason! I highly recommend Amgreen to everyone who wants to install Solar. They also offer LED lighting and other services that further reduce your carbon footprint (and saves you money in the long run). Amgreen is the best!! read more

THIS IS A SCAM. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. Do yourself a favor and go to Solarcity, Vivint, anybody is better than these people. I honestly cannot tell if they are crooks or incompetent but either way you will regret having met them. These people will say whatever it takes to get your money even when they know full well they are lying. People get solar so that their energy bill is reduced. With these guys, my energy expenses INCREASED by 50%. I just wish I had done my research about these guys before signing with them. I'm pretty sure their only positive reviews on here are from employees. *****Update****** So the management of the company contacted me to threaten legal action because of my review. The depths this company will go to try and bully its customers into silence speaks volumes about what kind of company it is. read more

My panels are OFFLINE and have been since MARCH without any warnings or calls from Amgreen to put them back online. I was oblivious until I got a $1,300 bill from SCE who told me that solar companies are to monitor power generation and alert customers if they go offline. They usually have a "performance guarantee" that will reimburse charges if they panels are offline and they don't resolve the issue resulting in SCE Charges. I am away from my home office and can't dig out my contract to see if such a clause exists, but I will update when I do. I was generally unhappy with the customer service and installation process, but happy with the results when the panels were online. I will update this and my review depending on the results of my contact with AmGreen. In the past they were difficult to get a hold of once they got paid. *** Day 2 Between my husband and I we have called 3 times before 11 am and he was just told they are in a meeting. I need my panels back on and this issue resolved. *** Monday 10/22 technicians came out. A switch had been turned off. AmGreen is quick to blame kids or a gardner. Irrelevant. With AmGreen the customer is to download an app, Solar Edge, and monitor energy generation. No one else monitors output and there is no alarms or alerts by any entity to notify the consumer that panels are offline. That is a huge risk that other solar companies assume in order to protect customers. My friend went with a company and when his panels were offline phone calls and emails were made, a crew was sent out 3 days later and they received an reimbursement for the costs of being on the grid for those days. $33k and nothing protects us from going offline. 1) I never received a service contract 2) never in 2 years has AmGreen called to check in, schedule an inspection and cleaning of my panels (something the technician asked about.) 3) no follow up to make sure we got the email instructions to down load the app to monitor our power generation Once we were up and running we have been forgotten. Solar is a wise investment. We have saved at least $2k in the 18 months my panels were on, but we just spent $1,300 in a usage cost for the 7 months my panels were off. Thankfully SCE has scheduled monthly payments over the next 6 months to lay off. read more

My husband and I had zero issues with the solar process because of consultant Harrison's wealth of knowledge and experience. He was very patient to answer all our questions from start to finish. The project took more time than expected to be approved by the city due to COVID related delays, but I was impressed by the continuous communication and effort to expedite the process. Currently, I work from home and my children do not go to school, so I am very happy that we still only pay about 10% of what we used to. I am satisfied with AmGreen's great team and customer service. Keep it up- read more

They gave me estimate $400 monthly payment to DWP without any scientific data but my electricity bills only came out to $120 per month. It took them over 6 months to turn on Solar system. It was denied by DWP inspector three times. They disappeared and didn't pick up the phone when I try to discuss about this issue. I am thinking of making legal action toward them because there is no way to contact them. Don't use this company. It is over priced, bad customer service and unprofessional. read more

Had a horrible experience with the AmGreen installers at several different projects. They offered to replace the toilets in several of my client's Pasadena apartment buildings...free of charge. Sometimes time has to pass before you realize that nothing is free. The brain damage during the installation was nearly unbearable. Different crews missed appointments and showed up late and lied to their boss regarding their whereabouts. I can understand having one bad crew, but several? Today there was a backup of sewage at one of the apartment buildings where they replaced toilets. When the toilet were pulled to clear the sewer line, it was discovered that the toilet they installed didn't fit at all. The toilet rough in was completely wrong and not sized properly. This would've been obvious for the installers, but it seems that they just slammed the toilet down on the floor so that the toilet hole fit near the drain hole. Today's backup of water poured like a river from underneath the toilet base onto the floor...1/4" throughout the entire unit and a bit into the units on both sides of it. The stoppage wasn't AmGreen's problem, but c'mon! The defective installation shows an utter lack of care, and that lack of care seemed to come from the top of the company down. read more

AmGreen is by far my favorite lighting contractor hands down. I manage multiple buildings both residential and commercial, and have contacted almost all of the wholesalers and some contractors in town. This LED guy was the only one who gave me honest opinions, without trying to just sell more. He shows exact energy saving expected from each replacement, and gives the facts why this helps save money and that doesn't. Most of all, he is so friendly and nice about the whole process even though I did not end up doing all of my buildings. I called him more than 10 times and asked so many questions, but he was always so friendly and knowledgeable. And then later I found out that he's not even a sales person! I would definitely use AmGreen again, and recommend them to my other fellow managers too. read more

This solar company is just awful. They are a revolving door of employees. They act as if they are too busy to concern themselves with customers. My 65 yr old parents had enough and went to their office to demand answers. They had them wait for over an hour saying the CEO was too busy to see them. Finally my parents decided they had enough and walked directly into the office of the owner of the company. Who was literally trying to hide from them in the corner....just sad that the owner of the company cannot even face their own customers. I have reported them to Better Business Bureau as well as the financing company they use Green Sky. Solar is a huge investment, you need to go with people you can trust. AmGreen is not trustworthy. read more

They helped us out by reducing our costs for an LED lighting upgrade with a rebate, but they did not finish the job. They forgot to replace several 24/7 lights even after surveying/auditing the property & they replaced all indoor lights with super bright (150W equivalent) white (4000K or 5000K) which makes it look like a warehouse inside (very ugly and unfriendly). If I were to have this job done again, I would go with the company that had a slightly larger fee, but does a more thorough job and replaced indoor lights with lighting that is more friendly to humans indoors or at night. They also did not provide us with the make or model of the light bulbs which they used to replace either fluorescent or incandescent bulbs and where to purchase more if we had failures. read more

We recently used AmGreen for the major project of installing brand new toilets in all units in all of our buildings. So they came out and did a professional job, but I did have a cosmetic issue with one of the toilets that needs follow up. I have made several appointments and they haven't been able to come out. I guess they are busy. I recommend you make sure that you are present at the appointment and take care of all issues at the time, because you may have difficulty with follow up. Not sure how responsive they would be if you actually had an issue with one of the toilets. read more

Outstanding! We had 2 toilets completely replaced for free! They handled every detail & it couldn't have been any easier! First, I emailed a pdf of our DWP bill & provided 1 simple measurement per toilet. After txting to schedule the very flexible delivery, it only took about 15 min each, to install & remove the old. Really, the only shocking detail has been the quality! We still can't believe just how beautiful they are - nothing cheap or plastic, at all!!! They're both inches taller than our old ones, with chrome handles on bright white porcelain, with heavy-duty wooden seats, & a low-flo, high-pressured flush. We just can't say enough about our wonderful experience! Thank you! read more

I am totally agree with other customers. Their customer service is terrible. They did no answer the phone. I left message but they never call back. My some of solar panel did not work well and asked to change location of solar panels then they asked more money to relocate them. I'm the Resident Manager of an apartment building of 19 units in West Los Angeles. We used AmGreen to replace all our toilets using the SoCal Water Smart Rebate program. Alex and his team made the process quick, smooth and efficient. I love the fact that he handled all the necessary paperwork. It was as easy as a few signatures, providing our LADWP current water bill and meeting with Alex to show him a couple of the apartments. The 4 men showed up ready to work, were professional and courteous to all of my tenants (and to me!). The were extremely efficient and clean in their process. I wish we had done proper research on solar panel installations before going with amgreen. We believed what their salesperson was pitching which was a complete, full reduction in our LADWP bill based on the most recent three months at the time of their consultation. Those three months ranged from $194 - $210 and a recent bill months after the panels went live came out to $192 (NO CHANGE). Taking into consideration it was winter recently, a year over year comparison is $245 (Dec 15), $230 (Dec 2016), and $192 (Dec 2017). We were promised a complete reduction in a bill of approximately $200, which clearly didn't happen. We talked to the salesperson recently and he made a whole list of excuses - blaming the system, LADWP, etc., and ultimately ended the conversation saying there's nothing he can do and that we can't sue him anyway. There was no attempt at any solutions, just excuses. We asked to then have his supervisor meet us since we weren't getting anywhere and even the supervisor claimed the salesperson shouldn't have made the promise. He apologized on behalf of the salesperson but offered no solution except to give us LED light bulbs. Yes, LED light bulbs at an attempt to make up for our $20K investment in a system that promised us $200 in monthly savings but in reality came out to AT MOST $50. If amgreen is reading this, please rectify the horribly promised savings. Whether you have to install more panels or check the system, some soft of customer service and follow up is warranted. We invested $20,000. We would have much rather donated $20,000 to a charity than have a company steal our money and pawn off a dubious solar system. read more
