Unfortunately, screen repair by Apple is $329, and I am not made of money. Found this place and the guy helped me fix it within like 15 minutes. Only had to fork over $200 cash. I didn't run into any issues in the 3.5 months afterwards. Of course, once the screen is taken apart and replaced by another one, the water-resistant quality of the iPhone is gone. (This is another story, but it is my fault for forgetting that and getting water damage on my iPhone display just now.)

I decided to go in and get my iphone screen fixed - it took about 15-20 mins, very fast! I go home satisfied with the service and put my phone in my back pocket and a few hours later -- there are 2 huge DEEP scratches on my screen . I didn't drop it or do anything crazy with my phone either...... Also, when I try to text or click on an APP, the touch screen thinks I'm constantly pressing down which is super frustrating on my end. I messaged the owner telling him my concerns and he tells me "phones do not scratch on its own, get a screen protector" -- which I thought was a rude. I take it to the apple store and was told that the screen that they used was extremely cheap... Side note -- prior to cracking my screen I had my iphone for 2 years and it has never scratched like this before. Don't waste your time here... go somewhere else...

Unfortunately, the iPad has never worked the same since. It goes dark automatically/randomly for a second and I have to wiggle it to get it to turn back on. I have brought it back to Kimi twice - the first time he fiddled with the settings, restarted it - I was hopeful, but the problem persisted. The second time, he replaced the glass again (free of charge) and now the problem is even worse - the screen has several air bubbles and is frequently unresponsive & still turns off randomly, usually when I am working with a client and need to show images. It is also a lot darker than it should be (even at the highest brightness setting). JUST BE AWARE: that it might ruin your ipad/iphone irreperably. At your own risk.
