When I arrived, Mimi greeted me, I filled out the standard form, and she brought me back to the massage space. It was an individual, draped-off "room," but only separated from the next room by a set of drapes. The mediation music was relaxing, and Mimi asked me to undress to my underwear and start face-down on the table (normal massage routine). I like deep pressure, and Mimi's technique was deep but not painful. The stretches, particularly the leg stretches, were amazing. Now the interesting part. Because the individual spaces are draped off, I could hear the massage in the next space. I could hear the gentleman groaning (NOT in a gross way, just that his massage sounded extremely deep lol). After a particularly big groan, I heard his massage therapist ask, "are you ok?" and he replied "uh yeah," but his voice cracked like he was crying lol. Mimi told me his therapist was Susie, whose technique is mostly walking, so it's extra deep pressure. Mimi told me her technique is more like spot therapy. Mimi's technique was on point for me, she found a particular knot in my left hip that she said was huge (didn't give me any trouble!), and she explained that because the knot is at the base of my back, it partly leads to the tension I feel in my shoulders and neck. She encouraged me to come back for 90 minutes with Susie to walk it out! lol Mimi had to leave for a minute to help Susie with the credit card machine when her client was done, and Mimi said "he cried for good," lol. Honestly, it DOES make me want to come back and try out Susie!! I ended my session with 30 mins of gua sha, which was equally relaxing. Total price was approx $150 for 60 min Thai massage and 30 min gua sha, which was completely adequate price. I will come back!

I booked my massage at like 2am with a description of my issues and when I got to my appointment I met Mimi who had read my symptoms and though I booked her (I didn't know anyone's specialties), she recommended Usana(?) who is apparently the deep tissue targeting superstar. I had the day off, so I was happy to reschedule to an hour later when she was free. This was literally the most thorough massage I've ever had. I booked a 90-minute deep tissue massage and I was very happy with the work. Usana was receptive to when I needed pressure change and did extra work around my problem areas. I'm someone who is extremely tense and generally doesn't like massages but it was easy for me to relax. The atmosphere is very meditative and perfect for a relaxing self care session. After my massage, I was provided water and a sweet which was really nice as well. I had the pleasure of talking to Mimi, who told me about the business and we had a nice chat. The staff here really know what they're doing and this is such a local gem. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone and it might be worth contacting them to see who might be the best fit for your particular symptoms so you don't go in and reschedule like me. At times she sat and just put tiny pressure on my leg. She only worked on my backside there was not time for the front side because she Bullsh*ted for an Hour. I had to remind her I had a foot massage and she asked if I wanted it the other room. Yes please. I was praying it was someone else. She gets me in the other room at 5:05pm she started on my feet at 5:15pm and then was done at 5:30pm LOL. I was upset. I mentioned it to the front desk lady she said nothing. The masseuse stood waiting even know she had a client waiting in her for a tip. They both seen my cash and whispered. I gave her $5 - im usually a $15-20 tipper. Today was not that day. She just looked at me and I explained why as a I looked at the front desk lady. She just kept saying thank you. Trying to wave me off. I will not be going back here.
