My first experience with Renui was when my daughter got me a gift certificates for a facial and a massage. It was heavenly. I've since taken my teenagers there for facials, twice, and they love it as well. Robin is friendly, knowledgeable and great at her craft. She took the time to get to know me and the boys and offered great tips on skin care. The boys suffer from acne and she gave them tips to help with flare ups. I contacted the Renui Day Spa the day before Mother's Day trying to get an appointment (silly of me) and left a message. I believe it was Robin who called me back and I didn't catch the call. A few days later, she called me again because they were unable to reach me over the weekend. A lot of companies won't even call a customer back in the first place, but to call me back to make sure that they were able to speak with me shows how much they actually value potential and current customers. I couldn't even book an appointment. I contacted them online requesting a Saturday apt at 11AM. I was told there was only one at noon, and I told them to put me down for the noon apt. Then I was sent several more messages with different days and times that I could book, that I didn't even want. When I tried to confirm which date and time I had been booked for, I couldn't even get a hold of anyone. No one responded to my emails, and no one even picked up the phone when I called. Today I received my first massage from Renew Day Spa. The owner is very friendly and personable. The massage was exactly what I needed and she focused on the sore and tense areas that she found as she was giving me my massage. The pressure was great and she checked in just enough to let me know she was focused on me but not enough to annoy me. I will be coming back to Renu as much as I can. Robin examined my skin thoroughly and gave me deep cleansing massage. My favorite part of the massage was the neck and shoulder massage that I just didnt want to end (almost put me to sleep cuz it was that relaxing). I can't wait to go back to Robin again! Decided to get a facial a few weeks ago and purchased their yelp deal -$90 facial for $70. My appointment was at 10:15am and arrived around 10:10am. For those who are new clients, you enter the day spa through the side of the building and through the back. Cute little sitting area right before you walk in the place. I was told Robin was running a little behind but didn't think it was going to be that long. Was thinking 5 minutes? Nope, waited more like 15 minutes. By about 10:34am, that's when my appointment started. Personally, I think if a client is running late, their appointment should not be compromised because it will leave the next client running late and the next and so forth. The facial I received by robin was relaxing and she definitely knew her stuff on skin care. She recommended that I come in a regular basis to get my skin situated because I do get random breakouts. She also asked me to send her the skin cleansers and toner I use so she can evaluate and see if its good for my skin. I emailed her and said she would get back to me but never did, probably busy. I also started breaking out again the next day which I asked Robin about and said it could be the after effects from the facial. I am new to facials-I take what I consider pretty good care of my skin from the inside out however i began to notice that my skin, despite my best efforts, was lacking luster and glow. I initially sought out aestheticians close to my home however each one only offered different facial "packages"-all of which I was unfamiliar.
