Got that done $20k by another installer haven't had one problem in a year. So in your shopping Harvest heat and Cooling is not the answer. They screw you any way they can. My expenses now are controllable around $300 an no worries. That includes electricity for entire house plus geo .

They've been doing bi-annual checks on our heater and air conditioner now for many years, but this morning we needed a service call since our furnace wasn't working. Josh was courteous on the phone and he told us their technician Eric would be there at about 8:30. He showed up at 8:28. Eric was polite, courteous and took the time to be friendly with our dog. That means a lot to me personally. Eric looked at the furnace, quickly spotted the problem and returned with the part he needed to fix it. By 9:45 our heat was up and running smoothly again. I found their service call fee to be quite fair comapared with others we've used over the years. Thank you so much to Converse Conditioned Air for your hard work and dedication to the customer! We will continue to tell everyone about your business and will obviously keep using you when we need someone to bail us out. You are a great company and Story County is lucky to have you!

I received a call today stating that they never received payment for a service that was provided in August 2023, even though they did receive payment for another location that was serviced on the same day. This was due to them not writing down the correct email for the second location. I do understand that mistakes can happen and that payments are necessary to run the company. However, the way the office manager spoke to me about the payment was very unprofessional. It felt like she was the owner of the company. Due to this, I have decided not to call them back for any of my seven locations in Des Moines. I read on Yelp that "72 is about creating and developing relationships with our customers by providing superior service". However, this is not how they can build a relationship with customers. I have been working in customer service for the past seven years and I have never encountered anyone who has spoken to me in such a manner. I just hope that the owner, Kendel Richlen, reads this and takes action to improve his business for future customers.

But this is just offensive. And they charge you $99 just for showing up, so you're caught in the trap that if you don't hire them, you lose $99. Frame of reference: $368 is roughly equal to what the average American household earns in a WHOLE DAY. (Note: I'm in Des Moines, although my Yelp location shows me in San Francisco).

The owner (Kelly) walked around with me and took pictures of every area I specified. We discussed at length the volunteer trees that I wanted removed and he took photos and made notes on his phone. Their 'crew' showed up fairly late in the morning. A younger man asked for clarification on what was done and I did a second walk through with him explaining everything. Two of the four employees they sent were not very efficient. I took photos of them sitting on my front porch and not working (with times) and sent this to the owner. They also did not have loppers, I lent them mine. Unsure of why you wouldn't bring this on a landscaping job. Before they left for the day, they informed me of a paint spill on my driveway. Promised to return to clean it up but let it sit overnight. It's unclear as to why their employees are using paint cans as chalk blocks for trailers, but my driveway will never be the same. They 'completed' the job while I was not home so I was not able to speak to them about my concerns. Did not receive a call or message that they were done. They did not finish weeding the entire side of the fence or back part of the yard. I asked them to weed, place weed barrier, and mulch these sections. It was left weed whacked (but appears as if the operator has some vision issues... My 7-year old could have done a better job). When asked about why the job was not completed correctly, they claimed they did not know and would need to charge more money. Any invoices sent to us were not professionally done and did not outline individual line item costs so it's unclear how much they actually are charging for materials. Additionally, we tried to use them for snow removal service last winter. They did not show up once (and didn't call), and it took a poor Google review for them to show up any time after that. Considering their poor work ethic with my yard work, I won't be using them for snow removal or any other work around my property. Please be cautious when hiring this company!

I was immensely impressed with Quinten the technician who came on an emergency basis on a Saturday after a citywide power outage in Ames. He found a minor issue with our air conditioning unit and fixed it for a reasonable price within two hours of being called. We had contacted two other heating and cooling companies earlier in the day, and both did not get back to us. Ames Heating & Cooling stood out. We always will use them in the future. read more

AHC has rocked it today!! It has been 90's the last two days. My son's AC froze up and my mother in law's froze as well. Both houses were serviced and AC back up and running.
