5/5 Stars - Outstanding work after our basement water emergency! We were overwhelmed when water…read moreleaked into our basement due to a burnt out sump pump from the heavy rains that overloaded not only our sump and backup sump but many many other homes in Ames and surrounding areas on July 4th. We hired Reform Total Fix and Finish Home Solutions to handle the basement rebuild, and they were phenomenal from start to finish! Firstly, Ayanna was so great to talk with when arranging everything over the phone. Just a really kind and understanding person. Then, Robert came out quickly, gave us a fair and clear quote based on our needs. They cut out and replaced the damaged drywall, taped, mudded, and textured and painted it so smoothly that you can't even tell where the damaged drywall was cut out. After that, they installed brand-new carpet and padding that completely revived the space. They kept the work area clean, showed up on time every day, and finished right on schedule. It was so nice to have that space back that our family loved to spend quality time in. It felt like the flooding robbed us and Reform Total Fix & Finish Home Solutions rebuilt not only our physical space but a return to better mental health for our family! I would happily recommend (and have been to my family and friends) Reform Total Fix & Finish Home Solutions to anyone needing reliable home repairs or general contracting work!

Vanguard owner Gabriel Moore was prompt to meet with us and quickly provided a bid. As we got closer to the project the weather didn't cooperate. Rain, rain and more rain. Gabe did a great job communicating schedule changes. Once the work got underway it went quickly. And the quality of their craftsmanship was outstanding. The siding is fantastic. The attention to detail superb. Seams were overlapped so not to be visible from the street. Joints were staggered so not to catch the eye. The metal trim was perfect and we love our new carport. My wife and are extremely pleased with the end result and we will certainly want Vanguard Exteriors for our next project.

Our first call was for a more urgent situation - a roof leak - to which they responded the same day. Not only did they easily identify and fix the leak, they gave us good information about what to look for and how we might help to prevent future problems. In a future call, what we feared was a leak was identified as pretty normal condensation for our old house. Jamie is clearly invested in building good, trustworthy relationships with clients, based on both education and service. Responsive, fairly-priced, generous with information, and clearly good people!

Mike was extremely patient and explained pros and cons of several different options. The service techs were friendly, efficient, and left a clean work area. They called ahead of time to say they were coming over and followed up after the work was done. The only other time I had such a positive overall experience with anyone in the service industry was with these same people several months back regarding plumbing issues with our rental. They are the only contactor I will now call and they have restored my faith that there are good people /contractors available. I felt the entire team genuinely cared about doing the right thing for our situation rather than just being another service call to tackle that day. That they also cared about keeping the cost to what was affordable speaks volumes to their integrity. Thank you for being such a life saver to us when needed and asset to our community. You are appreciated.
