I love this place! Most of the bad reviews are from people who don't know how to pack a bowl or add any of the sauces for flavor ‍ Yes it's pricey, but you can stuff the bowl to your liking. Use a napkin to push the meat down and break it. Frozen thin sliced meat gets smaller when you cook it so pack it full. As far as flavor, my fav sauce is the classic Mongolian! You want to add 3-4 spoons of this stuff bc they cook your food using water so the sauces get washed out if you don't use enough. Also, the workers there are kind and will add more sauces/ noodles for you if you ask, although they offer sometimes too. I get the complaints but this place is sooo bomb. I won't stand for Mongolian Grill hate. read more

Where do I begin. First they hand you a tiny little bowl at the counter in the back of the store and you walk around and grab a bunch of frozen meats which take up all the space in the bowl leaving little room for noodles and veggies. You get to throw on a few toppings and flavorless sauces and the staff takes your bowl and cooks it up on the grill. The meat shrinks significantly and you're handed a styrofoam box with what looks like a mouse's portion size left of the meat. On top of all this they have the audacity to charge $20 for a flavorless morsel of noodles, veggies, and meat which you can make for like 5 bucks. You have to go back around to pay which was confusing given the staff wasn't very communicative. Poor quality, bad service, awful food. Located at the back of the food court with their own restaurant, it's small and quaint but pretty spacious. Not as busy as the ones down here in San Diego. Also very different concept than San Diego such as being able to grab your own everything even up to the sauces. So kudos for that since I haven't been able to do that in SD for over 5 years now or more. However they do charge more than SD and their bowls are smaller. There's a regular bowl for ~$18 which was small and a bigger option for ~$21 which was only a tiny bit bigger. The bowl was tiny for the price and it was hard to stack much stuff up. As mentioned, you grab everything you want on your own. They cook it for you but I noticed they used regular water to moisten up your food while cooking it instead of some seasoning sauce like SD. Solid place - The bowls did seem very small, but really appreciated and even offered extra noodles! Whomever was grilling was very amicable. I don't think this place deserves such a low rating. I really like Mongolian food & was excited to try this place out. It smells super delicious inside. Upon looking at the menu, I noticed there were two bowl sizes regular & jumbo. I can't remember the price for each bowl, but it was very expensive. We got 2 jumbo bowls & 2 bottled waters & it was $43 so I didn't really like that. The bowls are also plastic & super cheap looking. There is no seating in this restaurant all of their chairs are taped all together too. The lady working there that took our order was nice, she signed me into their WiFi & then rang us up. There were 3 meat options, there were a few veggie options: onions, celery, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, jalapeño & a few others. There were some good sauces too the Amerikhan sauce was delicious & I really liked the minced garlic I added. The spiciest sauce option was really good too. We absolutely love this place. We love being able to fill up our bowls with whatever we want, how ever much we want. It's fun and the food is delicious! We love that its located in Temecula mall, the vibes are vibrant and yet chill. We enjoy how fresh and healthy everything tastes, not to mention watching your food get cooked is always really cool. The workers are nice and laid back, they let you do your thing when prepping your bowl and they dont hound you. They also do a good job keeping the counters clean, and all the food options full so that you dont have to wait for them to refill it! They are quick and efficient. Going here is such a wonderful treat after a long day of walking around and shopping. And because you get to fill your bowl up as much as you can/want, we always have leftovers for a couple days and that's something we are verrryyy ok with because the food is so delicious. Give this place next time you are at Temecula mall! Who doesn't love Mongolian food?! Especially when there isn't many of them around. Well, at Amerikhan inside of the Temecula Mall, there is a little Mongolian food join that smells delicious, but made me realize after walking in that I had to debate how bad I wanted Mongolian versus how non-costumer friendly this place is. For instance, smallest bowl is $15.99 with the largest being $17.99. Why? Well if you make the lowest option that expensive, why wouldn't people just pay $2 more to "get their monies worth"? Furthermore, drinks cost $1 to refill if you get fountain soda and all of their chairs are taped together so you can't even sit in the restaurant. Also, compared to other Mongolian Places I have been too, they don't have a lot of options for your bowl. No bell peppers or onions of any kind which are usually staples at these type of places. I love Mongolian noodles. This location is my least favorite. Their spicy is too spicy. Their bowls are so small and they only allow you to put what you want in the bowl including the noodles. Other places allow you to select the protein and vegetables and they add the noodles separately. The service was ok. The location is in the corner hidden behind the escalators so it's kinda hard to find unless you know the mall. They moved all the seating outside. read more

Love this place!!! Here the food is what you make it. The love you put into your bowl will definitely show at the end. Pro tip: add meat and veg, then use glove to push down and make a flat surface. Then add your sauces and make sure to use A LOT as it will get watered down during cooking. Then pile those noodles up high (patience is key)!! Lastly, be sure add more sauce after the cook is done with your masterpiece. Top it off with some sesame seeds and sriracha and you're good to go read more

I visited Temecula from Orange County and came across Amerikhan Mongolian Grill at the Promenade mall. It is located right next to Round1. The restaurant offers a trendy, modern take on Mongolian BBQ. The space was very clean inside and out while keeping the area safe for staff and customers. That was very important to me and it was impressive how well it was managed. To start my order, both the cashier and food prep employee were very friendly and welcoming. Love restaurants with polite staff! It really goes a long way in this industry. *(I would personally recommend Pork as the protein based on my experience)* The whole process flow was very easy and you simply let them know which toppings you would like to add to your bowl. The proteins and all veggies were FRESH and quality was SPOT ON. I let the staff portion out the amount of sauce to add and they did a fantastic job. I stated that I wanted the sauce less salty with a kick of heat and it was on point. *(Add Sriracha if you want more kick after the food is prepared)* I've been to other places in LA where the cooking area was not clean but Wow. This restaurant kept the grill clean after previous orders so I knew my food was going to cook exactly the way I wanted it to be done. The cook time was short but they are an expert. The cook time was just right and I really enjoyed my meal. If you are in the area and want some good Mongolian bbq or stir fry, I would highly suggest Amerikhan grill.
