I chose AmeriGreen Solar to complete a solar project on my dad's house after talking with a number of different companies. These guys are the best! Their rates are very reasonable and their professionalism was refreshing. All the work was done without any flaws, promptly, and staying within budget.  Their work and service is reliable and honest , especially when several severe problems were found in the home's wiring. The people who work for the company are very skilled at what they do. They are very professional and courteous, communicated honestly and clearly, and worked very hard (and smartly).  They not only did the work I contracted with them to do, they found problems that needed repair immediately; unlike a lot of contractors, they cleaned up after the work was finished. If you've been burned by contractors in the past, I suggest that you contact this veteran-owned company to get your work done. read more

Before I made the switch to solar energy, I shopped around for quite a while and even made a spreadsheet comparing options from all the companies (price / watt, warranties, efficiency, etc.) To my surprise, AmeriGreen Solar offered the best equipment (was offered Panasonic, Hyundai, or LG) at the best price and they offer the best warranties. The salesman, Steve, has been in the industry for over a decade and was able to educate me and answer all of the questions that I had. The equipment I chose was the Panasonic 325 watt panels with SolarEdge inverter and even though it cost a bit more, it's a superior product and totally worth every penny. Installation crew was led by Sevan who was professional and communicated with me every step of the way. They all did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. I'm very happy with my decision to work with Amerigreen Solar. They're a reputable company who treated us really well and communication was GREAT (I say this because communication with other contractors I've worked with wasn't so consistent and reliable). read more

Guy and his team were incredibly fast and thorough. Great work and got through the city in lightening speed, impressive. Top of the line product with great warranty, i highly recommend. read more

TL;DR - Amerigreen is awesome. If you're considering making the jump to solar, I could not think of a better company to trust to help you make that transition. We recently decided to invest in our home and add solar panels this year. We're first time home buyers and didn't really know where to even begin. To say the least, it felt so overwhelming that we held off on doing it for over a year... We started with Yelp and was able to quickly come up with a short list of companies that we wanted to work with. When we met with Guy Gabay from Amerigreen, we knew we found the company we wanted hire for the job. Guy is a professional. He showed up to our house on time. He understood that I only had 1.5 hours to chat because I had a work meeting and he kept his promise to be done within the timeframe. He answered all of our questions (even after the initial consultation) and went above and beyond to make sure that not only our needs were met, but also made sure that we understood all the trade-offs between all the different types of solar panel configurations and manufacturers. He also made sure we understood how much our monthly payments would be, based on each configuration and solar loan provider. At every point of the process, Guy NEVER made us feel "sold" to and made us feel like we can trust him and his team. Speaking of his team - I have to bring up Rose, our wonderful project manager. This was the first time I've ever worked with a company where I didn't have to ask for a progress update. Rose always reached out first to make sure we're aware of what's going on. Getting connected to the grid and attaining LADWP's final sign off tends to take a while (since you're at the mercy of their availability and schedule) but Rose made sure that we knew what was going on and kept us in the loop. Then there was Victor, our solar panel engineer lead. The man is like a solar panel whisperer. Installed all ~20 panels in 1 day. In the summer. In LA. His crew was so respectful of our time and was very understanding that we're all working from home. He would text me (as I requested) when there was going to be significant noise or need to ask me questions. And get this, we had a mural on the wall where they had to run a conduit over and these guys PAINTED THE CONDUIT THE SAME COLOR AS THE MURAL'S BACKGROUND! Like talk about above and beyond. They literally went to Home Depot and bought the same paint COLOR so that the conduit they added would blend in with our wall . I can't recommend a better company and team to trust to help anyone transition to solar. THANK YOU AMERIGREEN!! Wes read more

Guy and Rose made the whole process very smooth. It took a long time for our association to respond and they were always updating us. They explained things very clearly and straight forward. The system that they have is one of the best after we've done our research. We highly recommend them. read more

I recently purchased my first house and immediately decided to get solar panels. After meeting with several Solar Companies, I was very impressed with Guy and AmeriGreen. Guy helped explain the process to me from beginning to end and Shiraaz was there help to keep everything on track. I really couldn't ask for a better experience. They installed solar panels, an EV charger, new roof, HVAC, and insulation. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Guy, Albert and Rose did a great job with our solar project. Guy did a great job with his presentation and gave us a lot of insight on solar. I received quotes from several installers and they were very competitive in terms of pricing. Albert and his team showed up on time and completed the job in the same day. Rose was phenomenal and was in constant communication via email & text message. There was a lot of unnecessary back & forth with Edison to approve our project and Rose was always quick to respond to address their issues. They performed with a great sense of urgency to have our solar project completed prior to year-end to take advantage of the 26% tax credit. Thanks again! read more

We purchased a solar system from Amerigreen Solar about 7 months ago and everything went smoothly during the entire process. They designed a solar system that my needs and got me qualified for an amazing program with $0 out of pocket and a really low monthly payment ($77 / month). Out of all the companies I spoke to, the design they came up with is by far the greatest and all of my expectations have been met (cost, quality, on-time, etc). The system looks awesome and I get a kick showing off my monitoring system and how much I'm actually saving whenever my neighbor asks about it. Overall great experience! read more

For years I've been going back and forth whether should I have solar in my house, how financially will impact my budget as well as cost solar panels and it's installation. I also received over the years few quotes and some of them were promising but most of them required more than I anticipated. Anyway, I finally decided to go for it and get solar system in my house. It seams not only promising on the long run but also it has ecological and environmental impact that really matters to me. I called few companies in LA County. They all came, same questions, same answers but for some reason AmeriGreen Builders rep was more into it then others. He looked around, even in my garage and checked my back panels. He said some things will need to be fixed to be by LADWP and city code and he will do it free of charge. There quote was very attractive and I decided to with them. After few phone calls and data they need from my house they detailed a plan when to execute it. I went along with it, what do I know about solar panels and installation. I can't tell you how happy I am today! They did marvelous job! I felt that every single guy who was there really wanted just best for my house. It took them just few days, no shingle on my roof was hurt! :) They also fixed some smaller electrical issues so I want' have any problems with city officials. The place was left spotless and everything was put back where it was. AmeriGreen Builders thank you so much! I wish we have more companies like yours out there and I wish you great success! You definitely deserve it. read more

I absolutely recommend AmeriGreen Solar! Guy and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. As someone who comes from a family of contractors, I know it's not easy to find someone who is reliable and affordable at the same time. With that in mind, I made sure to do my homework before rushing into a decision. I interviewed 4 solar companies to give me a quote before I chose to go with Amerigreen. They clarified everything about incentives, finance options, and even went the extra mile to teach me exactly how the solar system works (something that no other company did in this much detail). If you've purchased solar, you know it's not a 2 day thing and Guy was there every step of the way and informed me at every stage of the process. When designs were completed, when we got permits, and all the way through final inspection and getting the system turned on. After the initial presentation, I knew right away this is the company I want to go with, before they even gave me the price. I did expect the price to be higher than others because of the professionalism and attention to detail but they actually were CHEAPER than ALL FOUR COMPANIES!!! This honestly blew me away. I have already referred two of my friends as they are truly the meaning of what going above and beyond means. read more

Guy at Amerigreen was so solid in all his information--very straightforward while personable at the same time. It was a hard decision because of the expense, but he engendered the trust I needed to proceed. Rose managed the job and was always on top of everything, keeping lines of communication clear and open through to the very end. The entire project went seamlessly--clean job all the way through. I really appreciated the top level of professionalism matched by their craftsmanship. read more

I had been thinking of getting Solar for for almost 3 years but I heard so many unpleasant experiences by others. Then I contacted Amerigreen Solar last November. Spoke first to Rose and made an appointment for them to come to the house. Guy came and explained everything and what best system I should get. He was so nice and did not pressure me at all to hire them. Rose ,the Project Manager arranged everything from getting financing, to start of the Project, Inspection by the DWP (which was done on line) and final approval. Their team of workers were all so nice and friendly! It took them just 3 days to complete the job and have the Solar Meter installed and running. Guy (did not even know he is the Owner,so humble) came to make sure everything is working perfectly. Could not have been more satisfied and very happy that I came in contact with them. I definitely recommend Amerigreen Solar! read more

Just finished an installation with AmeriGreen. The company, and in particular Guy and Rose, were great with the overall management and diligent with follow-up and communication. My only advice to future customers is to be aware of how long the process takes with the city. We signed our contract back in October of 2020, the installation didn't start until March and wasn't finalized with LADWP until May because of permitting. Would hope that improves post-COVID. That said, now that it's installed I think it will be well worth the investment and I'm glad we did it as we're able to monitor and assess our energy consumption and solar output. read more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with AmeriGreen Solar to install my home solar panel system. The install was lightning fast! After hearing so many horror stories of multi-month delays from other solar providers, I was totally blown away as to how fast the install was with AmeriGreen. Amerigreen installed the solar panels on my roof on a Wednesday (one day), county inspection was completed on Friday and SCE granted me permission to operate and switched me on to NetMetering by the next Wednesday. Only 1 week from install to SCE operation!!! One of my neighbors referred me to Guy at Amerigreen Solar. I had previously talked to 5 other companies. After my introductory meeting with Guy, I was very impressed with his industry knowledge, professionalism and no-pressure attitude. He was very easy to talk to and patiently addressed any questions and concerns that I had. In combination with Amerigreen's competitive pricing, I made the decision to sign a design contract with Amerigreen. I was very impressed with the site inspector that was sent out. He was very meticulous and diligent in his inspection. After the inspection, the final solar system size and design were promptly completed and submitted to the county for approval. Once approved and the county granted a permit, the system installation started within a couple of days. The installers did a great job. There were very courteous and diligently cleaned up the work site after they are done. All along the way, Rose, the project manager, did an excellent job of communicating status, from beginning to end. She did a great job of guiding me through any paperwork I had to review and helped answer any questions that I had. Overall, I had a terrific experience with AmeriGreen Solar. I would definitely recommend them to anyone else seeking a solar panel system for their house. read more

You can stop searching and just go with AmeriGreen Solar. I met with 4 total companies and the choice was easy. Now that our system is installed and working, I can assure you this is the way to go. I met with AmeriGreen first, and Guy spent 2 hours going over the entire process and then answering all of my questions and concerns. He was never rushed, very trustworthy and informative. The two other vendors that came over were quite the opposite, and just wanted to know what my first estimate was to see how they compared. One never even called me back for a follow up, and the other was much more expensive with worse warranties. So again, AmeriGreen was an easy call! The 4th vendor was Tesla who I didn't even speak to on the phone. Their project manager (Rose) does an excellent job of keeping you in the loop once you start the process. Our system was installed in 1 day! And the electric company gave us approval and we turned on our system in a short amount of time. They have good financing options and also had great sourcing of commercial panels for our house that are working very well. Electric rates are only going to continue to rise so this is a no brainer, call them up! read more

After seeing the Amerigreen crew install a massive solar system on my neighbors house, I was impressed by how quickly and neatly it was done. One day, in and out, as if they were never there. The service I received from that moment to this day (my system is up and running) has been nothing short of astonishing. Along the way they have been available to me at any time of the day and answered any and all questions I had regarding the process, rebates, etc. Since then I referred two close friends and even got a referral bonus read more

Before I met Guy from Amerigreen Solar, I met with 4 other solar companies. I even decided to pull the trigger with one of the companies (Horizon Solar) and signed the agreement with the sales rep who came to my house. After not hearing from them for a few weeks after I signed, I called them to see what's going on and they told me that they were unable to approve my loan application because my FICO score is 660. Bottom line, they never even called me to notify me that they are not proceeding with the project, they only made me aware of this when I called them a few weeks later. A few months later, we met Guy and explained the situation. He told us that his company specializes in situations like this and he came to the rescue! We setup a meeting and sure enough by the end, he got us approved for a solar program even though our credit was 660, and he even lowered our monthly payments substantially. WE ARE SO THANKFUL and relived because prior to having the solar system installed, our average monthly payment was $369. After getting the system installed, our payments are only $184!!! They did as beautiful job with the installation and I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a local company who provides great work, constant communication, and personal attention. I've been able to call and text Guy and he is always there. Thank you Guy and Amerigreen!! read more

AmeriGreen Solar - Our Hyundai 290 watt panels. Very pleased with the installation. - Solar Installation Near Me - Studio City, California

We recently hired AmeriGreen to install a solar system and a roof for our home and we are very happy! First person I met from AmeriGreen was Guy when he came out to provide a free consultation. He explained the entire process in a clear and concise manner and I was impressed with how easy he made it all to understand. Unlike the rest of the other sales representatives that came to my home to present solar, Guy was not pushy or trying to force a sale like the rest of them with what seemed like made up time sensitive offers. One guy even told me to sign by midnight or else... what a freak! Again, thank you Guy for your professionalism and being patient with me throughout the process. PLEASANT EXPERIENCE and if I buy another home I know who I will contact for solar. read more

I recently used Amerigreen for my solar panels on my new house. Guy was very informative from the start and he took the time to explain everything from start to finish. Once she was involved as the project manager, she was on top of everything and every little detail was explained thoroughly. We spoke numerous times throughout this process and she was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions and concerns. She made this easy for me. Great company, great people and a great outcome! Getting solar can be overwhelming. This is my second time going through this process and I'm an engineer that loves this kind of thing - still there's so much to consider and get lost on that it's really important to find a good company that you can trust. Amerigreen is that company. Guy was very responsive and helpful from the beginning and gave me a feeling of confidence in them. From there I went to Rose, who managed my project perfectly. She was on top of everything and presented all the options when we hit a snag with my existing electrical panel. She was very clear in her communication and I definitely felt well taken care of with everything that had to happen - plans, permits, scheduling, etc... They were both very quick to respond to all of my questions over text, email or phone. The crew was great, professional and also open to all my questions, requests, etc... At the end of the day, my solar got turned on a week or two before I expected it to be on, so they definitely underpromised and over delivered. I definitely recommend Amerigreen to anyone who's looking at solar and I'm very happy with how much electricity is pumping from my roof now. Thanks! read more

We had them replace our roof with a cool roof and install a solar system with micro inverters. They did a great job with everything! After finishing up some remodeling on my house I though for a while not to do solar panels. I gave this place a shot by calling them and receiving a free solar assessment. My fiance and I bought our house in May 2021 and when we saw our first utility bill from SoCal Edison, we knew we had to find an alternative. We looked into several solar companies. We met up with each of their representatives and got several different quotes that ranged from $30 000 to 90 000. Amerigreen Solar seemed like the best value without sacrificing quality. Guy and Arvin were very knowledgeable and helped us estimate the system size that we needed and helped us choose the panels that were best for us. Rose was in constant communication with us during the demolation, inspection and installation process and updated us every step of the way. Other than signing some paperwork, forking over the money and getting out of the way, AmeriGreen took care of everything and treated our home with the utmost care. They also put us into contact with a credit union to help us finance the switch to solar which made things even easier for us. We would definitely recommend Amerigreen to anyone looking to get solar for their home. read more

After seeing the good reviews on Yelp I decided to set an appointment with AmeriGreen and I'm so happy I did. The meeting with them felt different than the meeting with the other companies I met with. You can tell that they actually care about my needs more than simply profit. In addition to solar, they also replaced the 27 year old central heating and AC system and did a pretty nice job. They also gave me a free Nest thermostat!!! I did my homework and shopped around. I met with several companies, and spoke to a few more. I met with Guy from Amerigreen, and then I met with a different company. I came back to Guy with some questions, the guy from the other company had recommended a system with a string inverter, and Guy had recommended one with microinverters. Guy immediately sent me independent research and articles that backed up his suggestion, and I went with Amerigreen. They were able to install a commercial panels on only half of the roof of my detached garage, and give me a system that will produce almost 3,000kwh more than I've been consuming. So I should never have any electricity bills again, and once I get an electric car, I'll never need to pay for gas either. Very happy so far.
