Goodwill used to take in donated and offer them at a reasonable rate. They now price them on par…read morewith new goods or higher. For example, a 20 year old Cannondale bike was selling for $600. It was in fair condition and listed with an ebay printout for a similar bike. Also a used shelving unit, still sold at Target was priced $1 more than new at Target. Additionally, goodwill now operates a contract cleaning service on contract at our local military installation. They have a fleet of very very new vehicles with custom paint and graphics. This organization no longer appears to be charitable, it appears to be operating at high profit, apparently lacking the humility and graciousness typically associated with a charitable organization.
