I asked to work with Kitto Kunhardt. I had spoken, via phone, with Kitto earlier that week He was extremely knowledgeable of the different beds they carried. After explaining the numerous problems I have with my back, (Stenosis, herniated disks, bone spurs on my facets in the lumbar area, restricted range of motion on my right clavicle area. narrowing of my spine and severe pain in the lumbar area, affecting sciatica nerve approx. 4.5 inches from the right lumbar area. I was informed Kitto was with a customer. Within roughly 10 minutes Kitto approached me & introduced himself. For the next hour, Kitto showed us a few different mattresses that he thought would work for my numerous back issues. Throughout our time with Kitto he was respectful, patient, answered all of our questions. I found Kitto to be very personable, professional. I never felt pressured by Kitto throughout our time at the store. 11 years ago we bought our first latex, organic latex mattress from the Bedrooms & More NE 45th St store. That mattress had a 15 yr warranty & the only reason we decided to replace that mattress was because of my back problems. I was also diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease 13 yrs ago. I use an electric scooter when I'm out in the community. Bedrooms & More is truly an accessable business & Kitto was also very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this business to friends & family and my friends with Parkinsons. When they did get a call back the individual who called was as condescending and tactless as could be. How they have the ratings they do with the horrendous customer service they have I can understand.

This is a supremely comfortable mattress, but there are a few important things i wish i knew…read morebefore buying: 1. Unlike nearly every other mattress seller, there is no window for returns. Most mattress vendors, even online ones, offer 30 days. 2. The mattress cover is *not* removable for washing; it's not supposed to ever be washed, even in cold water, because of shrinkage. 3. If the head of the bed frame is raised a few inches on risers, the topper will slide down toward the foot and need to be hoisted back up to the top every few days. 4. The topper of the same size is somehow a few inches smaller than the mattress.

We went in Saturday morning of President's Day weekend and were the only people in the store other than Patrick and another Mattress Firm employee. After a brief introduction, Patrick let us do our thing. We were in the store for around an hour, laying on different mattresses and talking between ourselves. Patrick came over to touch base with us every 10 minutes or so. He was friendly, surprisingly informed, and not forward with sales pitches at all, though he did make sure to mention the various deals that were going on if we mentioned something we liked. After finding a mattress we both agreed on, I was ready to leave to discuss things with the wife and told Patrick as much. He insisted (though not overly so) on putting us together a quote on the mattress we wanted so we could think things over. He managed to make a very appealing offer (in part because we weren't interested in the adjustable base), and we actually went ahead and accepted the quote later that evening! Scheduling delivery with him was easy, and we actually got our mattress the next day. Very happy and surprised with how pleasant the whole experience was, and very happy with our new mattress. I imagine if you're returning a mattress, it's likely you're not a happy customer anyways but that's why my wife and I spent so long in the store - we wanted to make sure we got something we wouldn't have to ship back. If nothing else for peace of mind, I highly recommend stopping in!

I have never had a more unpleasant customer service experience. The person who "served" me was not the original salesperson. He argued with me and told me the original person would get dinged for the return. He told me I should give the first mattress more time because my discomfort would pass. He was belittling and actually hostile. I almost cried And I'm not a cryer. I had wanted to review that person, but was actually afraid to fill out the mattress firm survey because he knew my address. So the new product worked well, but the gaslighting on the exchange and fear of retribution were unacceptable. I've worked in customer service and have had bad days, but this wasn't his bad day. This was aggressive.
