Not sure who comes up with these names, because if you put "Best" in the title, it should live up to it. We figured it was worth the challenge to find out how good they are, since my very favorite wing spot is no longer open (r.i.p). So, there we were about to try a couple items for the first time. Apparently, it's a foreign concept if you try to order something and NOT make it a combo or even if you just want a fountain water. I had to convince the guy I really didn't want the fries & soda with my sub. I. Just. Wanted. A. Cup. For. Water. The other meal was a combo, so I guess it balanced out for us/the cashier. Sooooooooooooo... We waited for what seemed like entirely too long for a 10-pc wing combo meal & Cheesesteak. Several people who'd arrived after us had already come & gone with their orders, but yet, there we were still empty-handed. There were a fair amount of pick-up orders, but at least a 1/2 dozen who'd just walked in & ordered. Finally, I went up to the counter & asked for our #. "Oh yeah, here it is. I just made it." So why was it just lukewarm? The bf said the wings were pretty decent, and the Cheesesteak was also on par. But, dude, if you are short-handed or forgot about us, don't lie to me about how fresh it is & say you just made it. Be an adult & own it. read more

I ordered wings with no sauce but extra sauce on the side. I had sauce on the wings when I got them and they didn't give me any sauce. I ordered mozzarella sticks and they didn't give me any sauce. The services was terrible, the young man that took my order was so rude. When I go into these types of establishments I make sure my respect and my tone is at a high because these are people whos handling me and my children's food. Anyway, I asked for Whole wings witch they didn't have. So after 10 mins of seeing if they had chicken, i finally was able to order. This ABW is located in the Lansdowne shopping center on US 1, across from the Office Depot. It's pretty new and clean (right down to the filled mop bucket stored in the mens room,) but it took me a while to figure out the sports posters and framed comic books on the wall were supposed to represent American iconography. Always looking for good wings, we were excited when a place specializing in them opened up near us. There are a variety of things on the menu, but we only went there for one thing. We ordered the Lemon Pepper Wings from the incredibly apathetic employees behind the registers and found a seat at one of the tables. It took a few minutes for the wings to come out, and I suppose I am impressed that everything is cooked to order. They weren't the smallest wings I've ever had, and they were crispy and juicy, but clearly overdone. Glad we tried it, but I have no need to return. read more

This restaurant has horrible customer service, I would thoroughly recommend that you DO NOT go here. I had an issue where my jacket was ripped on a sharp exposed corner ledge that was not flush against the wall. It ripped the back of my jacket. If I didn't have it on, it would have ripped my skin; or god forbid hurt a child because of how exposed it was. I told the manager on duty and he laughed at me as if it was a joke and dismissed me. I may not be a manager at a restaurant but I definitely know that a customer concern is not something to laugh at and shrug off as if it wasn't important. I take pictures of the tip and the exposed edge and ask him for the number to corporate. It was then that I was informed that each American best wings are individually owned. He gives me a number to someone named Akram Vai who apparently is not the owner but he works above the store manager. I tell him the exact same thing that I told the Manager and Akram Vai tells me that basically it is my fault that it happened and there is nothing they can do about it. I told him that I would like to talk to the owner and he was hesitant at first but eventually he puts the owner on. The phone. The owner of this establishment Naif Ahmed tells me that they will look into the matter, I wait for him to get there and as soon he got there immediately without a hello he started off by saying "what's the issue?! Where's the problem?! What do you want from me" very abruptly. I explain the situation to him and one of his workers gets some caulk from Home Depot and just puts caulk over it and calls it a day without any regard to my coat and the damage whatsoever. I highly recommend that you go eat at another establishment because the customer service is horrendous and as people we don't deserve to be treated this way. read more

The manager was very rude when I called to let him know that he was missing an item from my order. And that I asked for no ice in my beverage and he began to yelling at me on the phone. ( OK so I put ice in the drink is that all that's wrong). I would not suggest to go to this location because the way the manager spoke to me on the phone. I ordered from this ABW location for the first time today. I always get the same thing when I order from ABW. Fried Catfish. When my food arrived, my side order didn't come with the sauce, my fish was overly greasy. The grease smelled and tasted like it was old and sitting out for days, possibly over a week and has been used to fry multiple things over time. The actual fish was mushy due to the grease. Called Grubhub and they issued a refund. Safe to say I will never order from there again. Spent my entire lunch break trying to rectify this situation instead of actually eating. read more

So I've been ordering from ABW through Door Dash. I have not been disappointed so far. I really love the fried catfish & my daughter is a fan of the Philly cheesesteak we also have tried the Old Bay wings, jerk wings & the honey mustard wings. The food comes nice and hot & in a timely manner. Eventually I will try one of the other restaurants thru DoorDash but this is my go to for now. read more

Went in to get boneless wings for todays Ravens playoff game. I had called the wings in ahead of time and They weren't ready when I got there even though they were supposed to be. When I finally got my wings they gave me the wrong kind. I told them I wanted a refund and they declined. So then I had to wait for them to make a fresh and correct batch of wings. The employees didn't even apologize for the mix up. As a result this we missed the first 15 minutes of the game. We had Buffalo hot wings and I had lemon pepper chicken, the chicken was fried so hard i swear I think I cut my gum, and there was so much salt on the lemon pepper ones and the Buffalo hot ones were very dry and hard. Not America's best anything... Wings mediocre at best, service was horrendous. It took more than 30 minutes get order, of wings and shrimp. Then with more than 30 minutes till closing they didn't want us to sit and eat our meal. When we checked the order they had given us wings instead of shrimp, then argued that they gave us shrimp. Just asked for money back on shrimp and was told they didn't do refunds. After some heated discussion the clerk just threw $5.00 back at us and said take your money. The clerk then stood behind counter giving us a dirty look the rest of the time it took to finish our wings. Won't be patronizing this establishment ever again. read more

I really wonder if the employees at this location can read. We've ordered several times (fried shrimp) requesting cocktail sauce each time, yet NEVER get it. It's the norm, I know Americas Best Wings has cocktail sauce, so wth is the problem?! Fried shrimp is good, don't care for the wings (taste breaded-hot wings aren't meant to be breaded) and subs aren't anything worth ordering twice. How about including cocktail sauce with shrimp orders, it kinda goes together like french fries & ketchup or gravy. read more

I've been here twice and both times have been phenomenal.... the flavors are fantastic. The lemon honey is unreal. The only beef I have is that the hot is normal with their hot sauce on top. Otherwise great eats. read more

Today for my Birthday, my sister treated me to lunch. I order garlic Parmesan wings with blue cheese dressing and fries. I got the wings with no blue cheese (although clearly noted on my box in black marker) and fries with no ketchup. I called the store only to be told they do not have a driver today, you have to ask for ketchup, and it was the cooks first day. The cook has nothing to do with my condiment not accompanying my order. The managers way of rectifying the situation is to "give extra next time". This is not how you keep your customers satisfied and returning. If you cant handle putting something as little as blue cheese in my bag, Im not willing to trust that I'd be satisfied on another occasion. read more

Reading definitely goes a long way when doing someone's order. All I wanted was American cheese on my sub but instead I gotten provolone so the sandwich is ruined. I got the wrong sprite too. I usually find some good things to say about places I eat. I went there for lunch and can honestly say it was the worst meal I've had in at least 5 + years. Wings were small and severely overcooked. I asked for KC Barbeque but have no idea what I actually got. The fries were soggy. My fried catfish was edible but my buddy's grilled talapia had the texture of shoe leather.
