I've stayed there twice now; once a couple of weeks ago and the first time was last year. Although we had to work out an issue with the shower head (in the handicap bathroom) they jumped on it immediately and had it fixed the same day. Gemini brought me a microwave and an extra chair while my son (who lives in Sandpoint) worked on an issue with my laptop. I can't believe how accommodating they are! She even showed me how to use the TV, after I told her I didn't own one and it was quite foreign to me.
They offer a nice little continental breakfast with pastries, yogurt, granola bars, boiled eggs, milk, juice, etc. The coffee pot in the lobby is 24-hours available.
Note: They let me have a late (VERY LATE) check-in because the Amtrak rolls into Sandpoint at 2:30 a.m. And actually, there was a 2-hour delay in Spokane so I didn't get there until 4:30 a.m. Gemini came to the front desk cheerfully at that ungodly hour to give me my key. Way to go, Gemini. I'll be back.
(The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 is that it is not perfect, but a good value for the money and the people are great.) read more
