For several months, I have tried in good faith to cancel my service through the Franklin, NC Orkin office located at 120 West Palmer St., Franklin, NC 28734 (phone: 828‑687‑3810). Each time I call, no one answers, and the call rolls over to the Anderson, SC office. Every month, I explain that I want to cancel. Each time, I am told that I will still be charged for the current month--even though no service has been provided--and that I must wait until after receiving service and then cancel before the 21st of the month. I have followed these instructions twice, yet my service has still not been canceled. Today, when I attempted again to cancel, I was told that canceling now would result in a $128 charge, but if I receive service, the billing will continue. In other words, I am being told I will be billed whether I receive service or not. This is unacceptable. I am requesting the following: - Immediate cancellation of my Orkin service. - No further billing of any kind. - Removal of charges for services that were never provided.
