Tried the hush puppies and omg the hot honey butter is amazing! I don't even like hot honey and I could eat the butter by the spoonful. The hush puppies are so flavorful. The burnt ends are super saucy. The brisket just melts in your mouth. The onion petals were like little pillows of fried perfection. Don't sleep on the sides - the mac and cheese is the ultimate comfort food. The pickles and coleslaw are classic. The pickled red onions are a fun twist. Very reasonably priced too with massive portions. Spacious seating and super cute decor. The bathroom is clean and cute.

We both added the carolina and memphis bbq sauce blend. Niether was spicy & the combination was sweet and tangy. The sides we tried included the potato salad and the corn bread. Both meat options were PHENOMENAL!!!!! The quality of meat was high. Each (brisket and pulled pork) was seasoned appropriately. The flavor was smokey, & the meat was cooked VERY well. You could tell that the brisket had been smoked for at least 8-12 hours. The meat separated beautifully using a plastic fork. There wasn't one tough piece of meat in the bunch. The fat cap (the fat on the edge of the meat) was not overwelming at all and melted like butter. (When the server cut the meat i could tell he was considerate and he included a fair portion of fat cap and meat. Not an just an overwhelming amount of fat or a dry portion without the cap.) The potato salad and corn bread were right down the middle, absolutely no complaints there. But the smoked meat options are definitely where they shine! They seem to be a small business go support them! The food was great. There seem to be some bad reviews but my experience was great. My advice - get the brisket or pulled pork. The service was good. The portions were great, large enough to fill us up AND have some left over. (I skipped lunch today so I was famished and I still didnt eat all of the food.) The staff was super helpful and kind. I will be going out of my way to find their food truck in the future, wherever they are. (I don't even typically write reviews so this is a lot for me.) To management: Thank you for coming out to feed us. I skipped lunch so this was amazing.

The Peruvian roasted chicken was quite possibly the best I've ever had. And the crispy skin?! If crispy chicken were an ASMR video, this would absolutely blow it out of the water. The flavor, the crunch, the juiciness... PERFECTION. The Peruvian steak skewers (anticuchos) are an absolute MUST. Seriously -- don't skip these! My daughter was in heaven over the mac & cheese, and the empanadas were truly one of a kind. But what made the experience even better was the family behind the food. Olluco is family-owned and family-run, and you can feel how much heart they put into what they do. They were genuinely some of the kindest people we've met -- warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about their food. This little place is a hidden gem and absolutely worth seeking out. The food is creative, flavorful, fresh and made with so much care. 10/10 -- HIGHLY recommend! We're only here for a few days and somehow keep finding restaurants that make us want to extend the trip. Olluco is definitely one of them!

TO. DIE. FOR. grits can be very hit or miss, but these extra cheesy grits were genuinely the best we've ever had (and we've had a LOT). and let me talk about the fried catfish for a second--it was perfectly battered and fried while still being super tender inside. i genuinely had to stop myself from audibly moaning at the table because it was that good. 10/10 for the service, food, and ambiance. you'd be silly not to give this place a try if you're in the area, especially since their menu has something for everyone. i already can't wait to come back and try more dishes. thank you again, chelsea--we absolutely loved you!

BBQ sampler platter (chicken wings, pulled pork, brisket, ribs) w/ sides of Mac and Cheese w/ Bacon and Baked Beans. 2. Half-rack rips platter w/ sides of sweet potatoes + more mac and cheese 3. Quarter leg smoked chicken. Why is this a 5-star restaurant? No. 1 and ALWAYS most important to any BBQ place review -- the brisket was incredibly moist. Most BBQ places can nail down the smoked taste of brisket but FAR too many deliver a dry or dryish brisket. Mr. Perry's is the OPPOSITE of that. No. 2 portions/value -- Some BBQ places can deliver quality but don't offer large portions for the price point. Mr. Perry's is not one of them. Again, the total opposite of that. No. 3 EVERYTHING they made was good quality. I literally had eight different things including the sides and they all tasted amazing. That is the sign of a great restaurant. No. 4 homemade BBQ sauce is excellent. I just wish I hadn't taken so long to find this place --- I have been living in the area for a year and just found Mr. Perry's. *Sorry for not attaching photos but I ate everything too fast for that.

We can't say enough good things about Pendragon's Smokehouse!…read more The jerk chicken (we tried the Hatchling for the kids and the Scorchling for the grownups) was bursting with bold, smoky flavor and just the right amount of heat. The ribs (Pen's House Ribs) were fall-off-the-bone tender with a flavor that hit all the sweet and savory notes.  The sauce is perfection, but they stand alone without it too!   The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy with a panko crunch, the green beans were seasoned beautifully, and the rice and beans were full of flavor and cooked to perfection.  All of them complemented the chicken and ribs very nicely, and together with the BBQ it was the perfect amount of food for our family of 5 (though I could have eaten the chicken and ribs forever). And let's talk about the delivery, because that can make or break any meal, especially BBQ -- not only was it on time, but it was hand-delivered with care, arriving at the perfect temperature like it just came out of the kitchen. Every bite tasted fresh and made-to-order. You can taste the love and craft in every dish. Pendragon's Smokehouse is a must-try - absolutely soul-satisfying food -- and we can't wait to order again!
