I did a lot of research on gas ranges three years ago when we redid our kitchen, and I chose an American Range based on reviews and how it looks. When my oven recently started making puffing sounds, like it couldn't stay lit, and was extremely slow to heat, I tried to find someone who could help. I first tried to appliance center where I purchased my range. They directed me to True Blue. After speaking with two people and waiting for callbacks on service dates (still waiting!), I started looking for a local company. No one I spoke with serviced American Range. I thought a gas range is a gas range. Frustrated, I ran across some Yelp reviews on American Range, and luckily some of the reviews referred to help from Guillermo. It seems that American Range has a gem of an employee who helps owners fix problems on their own, thereby saving on service costs. I called and was put through to Guillermo. I explained my problem, and he told me I needed a new ignitor. At around $100 for the part, I was saving quite a bit on the minimum $349 service call fee I'd seen online with one company. Guillermo explained to my husband what needed to be done, and bada bing, bada boom, my oven is now working better than it did when it was first installed. With so few companies providing any customer service at all these days, I want to give a huge shout out to Guillermo! He was so helpful with understanding the situation and then recommending a solution. He even offered to walk a local service person through the process if my husband couldn't do the work. Thanks, Guillermo, for reaffirming my decision to purchase an American Range, and for being such a great representative for your company! read more

Guillermo was my service rep, and he was the absolute best. Highly, highly, highly recommend American Range. I found them after looking to replace my old wolf range and I'd googled "what's better than a wolf range" (no joke) and I'm so happy that I did. They gave me the most amazing deal on my stove and it was just killer. Serge and Guillermo helped me find the perfect one for my kitchen that had all the bells and whistles. My old wolf used to have issues lighting constantly and would just keep clicking away, but they told me that the lighter on the American Range ones is a brand new design that was tested to drop form like, a crazy height and still work! There was a mix-up on the day of my delivery and I drove all the way to their factory not realizing that they delivered (always double check the shipping instructions) but they were so accommodating and sweet about the whole thing, and they let me just pick it up off the factory floor. They are ever-so-helpful with all the other minute details: where will it be installed, how much power to alot, recommendations for accessories based on what you want to cook, ect. They're pricey, but definitely worth the look and power they give you. 5 out of 5, absolutely would buy again! read more

I lost faith in the kitchen appliance industry, as the 3 companies (2 from Yelp, with 4.5+ star reviews each) I attempted to purchase from before American Range all broke down and couldn't handle the demands of my baking business (yes, all 3!). Finally I deliberately called a company that was right next door so that I could just pick my range up from the manufacturer directly instead of relying on it to be shipped from god knows where from around the world and watching it break along the way. They said they'd be happy for me to pick up locally and I was even able to negotiate for a better price because I wasn't having it shipped. Since first installing my free standing range 4 months ago, I've been getting better bakes, more volume (as they can fit an ungodly amount within each oven), faster orders (the double-convection really speeds things up), and the one time I had a small issue with one of the burners on top, I got such fast service it was nuts. Plus they even gave me extra sliding racks and a cutting board just to make up for the inconvenience! Save yourself the nightmare I went through and just call American Range first. It's going to save you so much time, money, and headache in the long run. read more

My wife and I just bought a house not too long ago, and when we bought it, we decided to completely overhaul the kitchen. When we sat down to redesign the whole thing, we realized that we could get some pretty heavy duty appliances! That's when we came in touch with American Range. We went in to see their showroom and it was serious stuff. They made some heavy duty pro-sumer stuff.  Serg helped us out and walked us through the showroom explaining the ins and outs of everything they had, and once that was done, he let us even try one out that they had in the showroom! It was super powerful and I nearly burned my eyebrows off. I freaking loved it! We bought ourselves one of their 48" ones with all the techy bells and whistles... It arrived so quickly afterwords, but there was a slight issue with the instillation, we needed to add a bit more power to the kitchen to run the thing. Though after a quick call to the electrition we were off to the races!!! This thing bakes my food so fast, and I swear to god, I've never had to wait so little for pasta to cook.  The staff was helpful, the product is quality, only thing I'd recommend is double check that your house can take one of these bad boys. read more

I have bought my equipment from American Range for many years now, and not just because I am a foodie, I am also a bit of an amateur chef as well. When I use my stoves I use them... HARD! These things are built to last and can take some real abuse, not just from spills and normal wear and tear, but I'm talking baking pastries day and night for my own side business.  Any questions or needs I've had have been answered and handled immediately! They were extremely helpful and fast, I couldn't have asked for a better customer service experience. As for the actual stove and oven, they mean serious business. The power on the stove top is unreal and almost professional kitchen grade. The oven's got a 2 fan convection, but because they move a bit slower than a typical convection fan, I can actually put delicate stuff like cakes in on full convection without them being disturbed. Also, they can spin without the heat being on, so I can use them to dehydrate food. The broiler is on top, unlike a lot of cheaper ovens I've seen where broiler is on the bottom. The broiler gets super hot, direct heat from the top. I love using it to melt cheese on top of things like chicken parm. SO DELICIOUS! read more

Absolutely AMAZING stove! This is an easy 10/10. I went into the showroom and picked out the exact one that the wife and I wanted, and this thing is a real beauty. We decided to get all master chef and picked out one with a grill, a griddle, and burners that are just money. Now it's steak and eggs for breakfast, slow roasted pork for lunch, and for dinner, we're going full on teppanyaki! Serge was a huge help to us, and made it really easy to get shipped and installed in our new home, and the owner of the whole place was really willing to work with us on color, features, and all that other stuff. This place was easily the easiest part of our remodel. It's a bit on the expensive side, but totally worth every penny! This thing isn't cheap, it is a full-on restaurant workhorse. Plus the cherry on top of it all, the wifey got to pick out a custom color to match the whole kitchen! This thing's serious business, and I would totally buy again. Seriously consider this one boys, you won't regret it. read more

I've owned my American Range for seven years now. It's still the same workhorse it was when I first purchased it--accurate, dependable, and capable of handling all I throw at it. Like any tool, the range has required minor repairs over the years (the oven gasket and, more recently, the broiler igniter). Since the range is so user-friendly, I've simply called up the company, ordered the necessary parts, and installed them myself. Couldn't do that with those other high-end equivalents! Can't tell you how much I've saved not having to call in technicians. I've gotten to know Guillermo, from customer service at American Range, in the process. He has always been patient, super helpful, professional and unerringly able to diagnose over the phone what needs to be done or replaced in each situation (I've also recalibrate the burners with his guidance too). The guy's just fantastic! read more

I am so grateful to guillermo for being so supportive and generous to send the parts for replacement. I understand that things happen, and sometimes stuff messes up in shipping, nothing is perfect, but the measure of a company isn't a screwed up or working product, it's how fast they can fix it when it breaks... and he was FAST! It was really nice to talk with him, and visit the showroom to see the demonstrations he does with the stove. It is such a handsome and simple design that I love. I call it an honest stove!  One of my friends bought a cheaper version from italy but it is not nearly so attractive or substantial. And they had a lot of trouble keeping it going. They love this one too. Maybe i can get them to buy one! In my experience this kind of personal service is rare these days from a manufacturer who really cares about their product and the people who buy them. read more

We couldn't be more pleased with our new 48" natural gas AmericanRange. Upon receipt, we noticed a damaged toe kick, which was a defect attained during shipping. We contacted AmericanRange, and spoke to one of the most helpful reps we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with on a phone call. In addition to quickly providing us with the replacement part information, he was eager to walk us through some testing of our new range, while on the same call. I feel assured that, should we have any future questions/concerns/issues with our range, qualified help is a phone call away. Advise to future AmericanRange owners: Read the owner's manual before using this range. There is very helpful information regarding proper seasoning of the griddle, among other things. It is a serious cooking appliance. Love it. read more

They are super amazing! I bought a 36" Performer Series from them and it is an absolute dream! They tell me it's got the highest BTUs in the industry, all I know is that it cooks things so fast. I love that it has exact control over the fire too. I can simmer or I can boil water in 3 minutes flat (I timed it) American Range was also, super helpful in getting me set up with the warranty and registration, and I love knowing that if anything happens, they have my back. I can't speak highly enough about this new stove top, if you are thinking about it, trust me, take the plunge and just do it! It's a bit on the pricey side, I know, but it is worth every penny! You really get what you pay for. read more

They went above and beyond the call of duty to help us get our range properly converted to LP and set up properly. We called several repair companies to help but they either didn't come to a Palmdale or they wanted to charge an unreasonable amount to do the job. I worked with Guillermo and Alfred at American Range to figure out what we needed to do and they were great, very interested to help and work with us. Alfred came to our home after working all day and personally got our range properly set up and taught us what we needed to know. He did this on his own time and would not accept any money for it. That kind of customer service is not usually seen anymore. read more

We attempted to place an order with American Range and asked that before our credit card was charged, they let us know the grand total of our invoice which should include the shipping charges. We tried to place that order mid-October and are still waiting on a response from their team. We have emailed and called our contact multiple times a week for the past 3 weeks and I've literally never felt more ignored by a company. After this experience, we won't ever purchase anything through them again and we order kitchen equipment regularly for multiple locations throughout California. read more

I sent an email to the service contact about a problem I was having with one of the burners on my range. In short order a ticket was created and a technician contacted me with a suggestion. It worked! The whole process from start to finish took less than an hour from my first email. In addition there was a number and name of a person to call to help with finding a local repair person if the suggestions hadn't fixed the problem. Pretty slick process. Our range is 10 years only and we have been very happy with it. Thanks Guillermo and American Range! read more

As a real estate developer of high end homes I have used different brands of the professional cooking appliances . I have found that American Range is a superior product compared to all the rest from their free standing ranges, wall ovens and warming drawers. These are quality built and long lasting plus maintenance free. I have been placing American Range products in my homes for the last few years and have never had any complaints or warranty issues. I especially like the fact that it made in the USA. I would recommend this product in any kitchen. read more

I have come back to check out the showroom again and to look at what I'm going to get. I really think I'm going to grab the one with the open burner, they have a live one for demos and I freaking love it! I got to meet the owner today too, he was so nice and really helped me figure out the difference between ovens, I really had no idea that there were so many kinds! The front area was a bit wet, I think they just power washed it, but they didn't say anything when I tracked a bit of mud inside, so that's good read more

American Range started manufacturing custom commercial cooking equipment in the 1970's with great success. More recently they started making ranges for the home cook. I have owned my 6 burner American Range for over 3 years. I have had a few problems with my oven but each time Guillermo has assisted me with the company and I have been very pleased with the outcomes. He has helped so much! American Range is doing their part to become a very responsible company with a great product. Thank you. read more

Wow! The American Range team is fantastic. Guillermo, Alfred and Maria! The technical support staff at American Range is absolutely wonderful. Thank you for taking time to help us troubleshoot. Thank you for your patience as I learned how ovens, broilers and stoves actually work. It's probably not very often you get the final update from a customer. But, after installing the safety valve, and after correcting a minor leak from the broiler connection, the oven is firing on cylinders. read more

I bought a high end range for my new kitchen and this things the bomb! It's burners are practically blow torches it's so damn powerful. The control on this thing is so exact that I could even melt chocolate on it. Love love love it!!! Only down side is that it needs a stronger breaker than the standard for the oven. You may need to re-wire your kitchen if your house is old, but it's still totally worth it!!! Just be careful when you first turn it on... this thing is no joke! read more
