Hardest sell on Doctors of our lot is my Mom. Her local hospital has noted in her file that she does not like Doctors. No, really. Unfortunately, my Mom's hearing has been degrading at a terrible level for some time now. She typically leans toward naturopathic heals but I've never seen a decent hearing aid carved from hemp stalks, so decided to find her a quality professional that could help keep her in sound with the world at large. All of the little sounds of everyday life that most of us take for granted but that people with challenged hearing are brought to tears by when by what seems to be miracle work, they are blessed to hear again after long whiles of inability, if they ever have been able to. I have seen this first hand. Sounds of children laughing, birds in nearby trees, lawn mowers running down the street while a neighbor is out doing their weekly chores. Think about the orchestra of life around you and then imagine If half or more of those players were silent to you. Big stuff. Dr. Gonzales answered my questions, examined me, told me what he was seeing in layman's terms, and recommended a septoplasty and dual turbinate reduction. He was able to schedule me within two weeks. The staff were friendly and responsive to my questions, and provided all the necessary materials. Prior to surgery, prescriptions were arranged on my behalf. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Gonzales and the anesthesiologist stopped by to answer any remaining questions, and explain the procedure and process. My only complaint is he was running late, and we were left in a VERY cold room for nearly two hours over lunch. This left me rather perturbed. The surgery took around 45 minutes, and the staff were attentive in recovery. Dr. Gonzales stopped by again to explain post-surgery directives. I had very little pain, no swelling or bruising, and no need for pain pills. As to the surgery, it's been a revelation for me. I can finally sleep with my mouth closed, and breathe normally without nasal spray. I am completely happy and satisfied with the result. The follow-up visit was pleasant, and again Dr. Gonzales took the time to answer any remaining questions. I would very highly recommend Dr. Gonzales and the staff at Valley ENT.

The patient rooms are always clean and tidy. Tips: There is always plenty of parking available. Each time it's helped my husband and I am so glad I found this place. Stacy, the receptionist is wonderful, too. Very helpful. Dr. Hale explained what was going on that was causing the issues my husband has been having: intermittent light-headedness, dizziness, balance type issues, nausea. He came in on the 2nd visit, which was 3 months after the first visit, early at 7 am so my husband could get to work on time. That was so kind of Dr. Hale to do this, to accommodate our schedule in this manner. Most places will not do this, so this says a lot for AFA and Dr. Hale. The office area is very neat, clean, uncluttered, modern and inviting. Dr. Hale will entertain any questions we have. Hopefully this adjustment will be permanent and there is nothing else going on here. But, so far, we are 100% satisfied and would recommend this place.

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctor's office…read more Started by showing up to my 1pm appointment half an hour early as that was advised when scheduling and the texts and emails I got prior to the appointment. When I arrived the office was closed with a sign saying they would return at 1:30pm. Office was finally open at 1pm. When I went back to start testing I was met with a lack of empathy from the doctor performing the testing for my vertigo. During one of the tests I asked to stop as I was experiencing extreme pain instead of allowing me a second to regroup the doctor said I couldn't do anymore tests and asked me to leave. During such extreme testing a little bit of empathy would have helped immensely instead I was met with coldness and a lack of understanding. I have never been so mistreated at a doctor's office in my life. Please never go to this place.
