I have not had a hearing test since elementary school, so I was a little hesitant. I knew I have had hearing loss in recent years. My wife has been going to this office for many years so she always came back from her appointment like she had just came back from lunch with a friend. So I felt comfortable enough to go. But when I arrived Taylor met us and was super nice to us. She treated us like we were the only ones there. When Dr Jessie Penkoff called us in to the back, she was really nice and engaged us and wanted to know how we are doing. Dr Jesse wanted to get to know me. She wanted to hear about our weekend plans. She then used a camera to show us our inner ear. It was really cool. She explained everything what we were seeing. She then took us back to the testing room. I felt so comfortable in the office which is saying a lot. Dr Jesse explained after the test my results. She never hurried us. Dr Jesse never made us feel like she had to get to another appointment. My wife said they calendar the appointments so there is no overlap so they can be with the patients as long as they need to She explained that I will need hearing aids in both ears. I was a little apprehensive but Dr Jesse changed my attitude by saying "When you look at someone with hearing aids, you should look at them as to say they are taking care of of themselves" I really appreciated the experience that I had at the office. If you need a hearing check or someone to talk to about hearing health, these professionals are actually listening with their ears and hearts. I highly recommend these wonderful humans. It was a long awaited and interesting experience to have my impacted ear wax removed.. I had been intrigued and fascinated with Utube videos showing how some audiologists put cameras in the ears of their patients as they removed impacted wax. They used tools called a Jobson Probe, Crocodile Forceps and Microsuction to get the impacted wax out. Finally i thought, a way to get this wax out that wouldn't take multiple vists and i could see for myself what was really going on and if it was cleared out. Thinking it would be easy to just make an appointment for this I began calling. 3 days later i was still calling and had to widen my reach to all over the state. Apparently no one did things this way. I almost was at the end of my offices to call when i called Advanced Hearing suspecting they too would not be able to do it and to my surprise they did. It was a long drive but worth it for me. It has been years since i finally feel like the wax is cleaned out and saw that it was, along with being able to hear better. The audiologist listened to me, was intuitive, efficient and kind. For me it was fascinating watching the procedure on screen. He explained things as i watched the whole thing happen. I am very grateful to him (and the staff who were friendly and helpful) for agreeing this technique for removing of wax is of value for patients. I recently had my left ear evaluated by my primary care provider who discovered I had a large buildup of impacted wax. They tried unsuccessfully to remove the wax via lavage but all that did was push the wax further into my ear onto my ear drum. I was sent home with new ear pain and decreased hearing, and was told I wouldn't be able to be seen again for a month. I was desperate for help and found AHG and decided to give them a call. The receptionist was so compassionate to my concerns over the phone and they were even able to schedule me for an appointment the same day! I was seen by Adam DiPuccio who was very kind, attentive to my concerns and determined to help me. He is a very skilled practitioner and was able to remove my stubborn impacted earwax that was pressed right up against my eardrum. I felt immediate relief and could hear so well! I'm so glad I found AHG and have nothing but great things to say about them. I was referred to Advanced Hearing Group by a family member. I had a problem with my right ear and new it needed cleaning because I was having a hard time hearing. I called and spoke with Jude, she was very friendly and helped with setting up an appointment. She also went out of her way to check on the coverage of my personal insurance as well as sent me the forms to fill out via email. This made the experience very easy and fast. I walked in to the North Scottsdale Office. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment. I had one with Dr. Gary Johnson. I handed them the paperwork I had completed via the email from Jude. Right away Dr. Johnson greeted me and attended me. He was very friendly and informative. I needed my ears cleaned. This was a fast and painless process. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Scheduled an adjustment for my hearing aids and decided to set a hearing test as well. Have been with Advanced Hearing Group since I began wearing hearing aids around 10 years ago. I started with Adam and and have had the pleasure of working with 2 other great doctors since. Most recently, Doctor Penkoff. I do miss working directly with Adam and Dr. Thornton but I have found that all staff have been infused with whatever it is that makes each one of them approachable, friendly and above all, professional, without the antiseptic feel most medical establishments exude. (previous set, different company), These were on their last legs, repaired, cleaned, repaired again. Needed new ones. had a difficult time finding a company that would work with my insurance company. They did it all. Great testing, set up the approval with the insurance company, ordered, fit, helped thoroughly understand how they work,. never heard certain noises, tones previously, These hearing aids are great. I needed new hearing aids and had to first have my ears cleaned. I went into the Mesa Advanced Hearing Group and saw Christina Gabler. She cleaned my ears as I watched on a large screen. No pain, excellent job. Then she gave me a hearing test and we ordered a new advanced set of hearing aids. The new ones are smaller, you can't tell I have them on and they are crisp and clear. They have blue tooth but since I share a phone and use Facetime it was not something I need at this time however it is really easy to just connect whenever I choose. Christina was friendly and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this company and Christina Gabler. So much better than the company I used before. read more

I was being tortured by my wife who was trying to remove my ear wax. Lo and behold I decided to seek professional help. I found this place on Google and decided to visit. They were very precise and the removal was painless. I will always recommend this place and I will be back because of the great service. Dr. Gabler has helped me optimize my hearing for the past 18 months. I wanted new hearing aides but my audiogram indicated some problems. Dr. Gabler referred me to an otolaryngologist but maintained contact with me throughout the period of time I was seeing him. Once my hearing was stable and I was able to order new hearing aides, she presented the various options available to me and pointed out the pros and cons of the various aides. I moved to Arizona permanently from Minnesota last year. I have been wearing hearing aids since 2000, always IC. Because I am now retired, I decided to move to the BTE type. I went to seeBriana Thornton one of the tips feel off my hearing aid, I made a huge mistake in going to urgent care not only were the unable to get it out they wedged it in more, no luck st emergency room where Urgent care ended up sending me. Monday after many calls Iwas able to get an apt at Advanced Hearing group in Mesa, Ms Thornton was able to remove the tip without any pain my ear was messed up so I had to go back two more times to be sure it was healing properly. Absolutely a wonderful experience! Got my Phonak hearing aids about 2 years ago and I have not had a single problem with them ( even though they had a short trip into a swimming pool! Christina made sure I got the best hearing aid for me, gave me plenty of time to try them out and get used to them . Adam and the girls up front have helped when I stopped by for a cleaning.
