I love the bartenders at Crossroads, they're always so friendly and kind to me. As someone in their…read more20s, I haven't been to Crossroads until my older friends brought me here. To be honest I was pretty skeptical at the atmosphere and the general age group of the crowd, but what stood out to me was how comfortable of an environment it was. In busy bars and clubs like Bernie's, The Avenue, The Pioneer Bar, it's crowded with young people, and for someone like me with ADHD and sensitivity to too much noise/too many people it can get extremely overwhelming. Crossroads was a completely different vibe and I've fallen in love with it. What I love most is that there are way less men trying to talk to me! One of my favorite things about this place is the fried food. I am a chicken tender fiend and their chicken tender basket is awesome, and their curly fries rock. And don't get me started on their Potstickers. As a Korean I am a dumpling snob and can be pretty judgmental, but the dumplings were great and what really stole the show was... they served it with soy sauce and chili oil. The atmosphere of this place is pretty "white" and wow, I was truly not expecting that, I thought they were going to make me eat potstickers with ranch or something, but it was a pleasant and delicious surprise. This is the perfect place to grab a drink with a close friend where you can actually hear each other and know that the vibes are always gonna be right.

They taste much fresher than McDs. They had a sprinkling of pepper on them. Tasty. The Reuben wasn't overloaded like so many reubens I have had before. The corned beef was tasty enough and it was in pieces rather than slices. There wasn't much sauerkraut and the thousand island was a little overpowering. Overpowering to the point that it made the rye bread soggy. I had to eat half of the sandwich with a fork. Ambiance - it has the feel and looks of a sports bar. Beer signs hanging all over. It has a decent number of TVs but hard to see any from the bar. Notables - so many games to play. There is foosball, pool, and even pinball. Decent craft beer selection plus all the normal domestics. Cleanliness - overall, not bad. The bathroom was dated and worn, but didn't smell and it was obvious they cleaned it regularly. Be careful with the sinks as the water comes out quite quickly. Service - I came in at a downtime and sat at the bar. There were five other people sitting at the bar. They were likely locals that the bartender knew. She was laughing and talking to them, but she served me with fidelity. It would be nice to be a local. Overall, great bar and grill. Cheap beer. Decent place.

The TVs were all in different types of sports, including the Olympics. It was real chill. I even stuck up a conversation with a few of the gentlemen sitting at the bar. The food specials were very tempting. This place is nice with a big patio in the back. I would return.

July 2026 nighttime review; Dayum!! I'm here to save the…read moreyelp profile from all the 1 star reviews you see. Pretty damn good dinner spot. Took the hubby out for a sports season treat, went for a not busy Wednesday night, around 9:30pm (gave us a good hour to dine before pre-closing). Wherever you sit will have big-ass TVs displaying sports network for all to see without stressing your neck any. Music was a good volume and table-upkeep is pretty swift. They deliver on neat metal trays, perfect for sharing and dipping. Guests -- please note that metal conducts heat, so if you touch your tray you may be in for some heat to your fingers. Our server gave us plenty fair warning, but during busier times your server might not say it in time or loud enough for you to process before you go all grabby-grabby and get burny-burned. Use your brain, metal is hot. As for our visit, I got us some damn tasty drinks and went all out on the app sampler and an entree each. Pretty good, we were in Garrett's section and he was pretty speedy and attentive with both service updates and bussing his tables. Bro confidently slid on by to the dishpit with a whopping 6 cup stack singlehanded with a plate stack in his other hand and then slid right back out to tend to a table. From what I saw from the corner, the bartender on closing shift was also very attentive with his bar guests and had a very welcoming vibe. The drinks here are nice and flavorful, could barely taste the alcohol in our cocktails. Very pleasant fruity dinner sippers! Food was delicious, my hubby said the chicken dippers were nice and juicy, and my spicy wings were nice and hottt that mango habanero is sneaky with the spice right at the very end, like a sweet-spicy version of a sour patch kid; first it's sweet n savory, then it murders you. I'd say it's right up there with my hub's family's cooking and they're traditional Thai folks who flat lie to your face when they tell you something ain't spicy Got me tearing up a lil bit and got a refreshing Modelo to finish off the meal I can't say for busy sports nights or dinner rushes since I specifically planned for the pre-closing calm Wednesday night, but from my visit I'd say this place is a very nice snacky dinner spot!

As the only Latino queer person in the restaurant, it was very obvious I was being treated differently. No eye contact, no engagement, took longer than it should have to come see me & never offered refills. I've been a B-Dubs fan for years, and I was really confused when the wrap came out. It was VERY small. The halves they came in were only about the length of one of the wedges. Hardly bigger than the side sauce cup. Definitely not a $16 meal. The food quality itself was good. It tasted good, and I loved the crisp on the wedges. That's the only reason I gave 2 instead of 1 star.

Delicious Food at Bear Tooth Grill!…read more We stopped by Bear Tooth Grill while visiting Anchorage and had a great meal! I ordered the Korean beef bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. My husband went with the nachos, and he loved his as well. Both dishes were packed with flavor, and we left very happy with our choices. My only complaint is that I wish their online menu was updated to reflect their current menu. I had looked everything over ahead of time and already had an idea of what I wanted, only to find out the menu was different once we arrived. That being said, the Korean beef bowl I ended up ordering was fantastic, so it definitely worked out in my favor! Great food and absolutely worth a stop while in Anchorage.

I do this so they know ahead of time that I am not being picky, just asking for what I am willing to pay for. I usually LOVE the rosemary garlic fries, but mine arrived soggy and barely warm. The server was quick to offer to correct this and returned with a plate of perfectly crisp hot fries! My grandson ordered a kids' salad and the kids' salmon and rice! This was the best buy of the day, as the salmon fillet appeared to be between two and three ounces of beautifully grilled salmon, with a generous portion of coconut rice. The salad was a garden salad with tomatoes, lettuce, and carrots, nicely dressed in ranch dressing. He also ordered the children's dessert of Mini Mousse, which is a good-sized chocolate mousse that he LOVED! Grandma had a couple of nibbles too! I enjoyed a Broken Tooth raspberry wheat, and it was fabulous as always. Bears Tooth Grill offers consistently delicious food, and when they make a mistake, they happily correct it!
