Ive requested quotes several competitors and decided to go with this company. All competitors had given me a quote so thats great for all of them. Definitely show around. Anyways I had 2 outdoor hose bib replaced, a leaky toilet and a screeching faucet. His price was very fair and competitive. Even after his work was done. First thing - before 0800 - I DMd several highly rated plumbers on Yelp. All returned my message promptly. JJ was first, promised to come by 1000 (and did!) an excellent Yelp find. This is a family owned business with more than 30 years of residential and commercial experience. JJ is one of the owners, and couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, his prices are reasonable; he's returning tomorrow to replace a part in the guest bath toilet. I needed a reputable company to install a water softener I ordered for Black Friday and I came across American Jetting Company. Read this companies reviews and saw they were an A+ on BBB. I requested a quote and in about an hour or so, I received a quote from JJ, I couldn't refuse. I then scheduled for a replacement of the old with the new. I can't even begin to explain how amazing JJ is. Our entire house's plumbing backed up this morning... no sinks, no showers, no toilets. We went through our home warranty first and they basically threw their hands in the air. I called american jetting at around 4pm and by 630, well after his day was done I'm sure, JJ came to our house and in an hour had everything fixed. He even double checked everything with their cameras to make sure we were good. I was quoted almost double what american jetting charged from another company earlier in the day when I was in panic mode. So not only is the service top notch but the price is more than fair. I had a piece of pvc that connected to the spigot (outside) break off. I used the "get a quote" option on yelp for a plumber. I described the issue as well as provided pictures. These guys responded within 30 minutes, showed up earlier than the other guys offered, and fixed the issue for way less than the other estimates, all on a Saturday. JJ did the job without hacking into the wall or stucco (like the other guys said they would 'have to do'). Water is back on and the issue is resolved. I called American Jetting Services with an emergency. I had 6 family members in town staying in my house and all of the plumbing was backed up. JJ was kind enough to answer his phone after 10PM and made his way over within a few hours. He was able to make it over around midnight and was up and running, cleaning out the main in a short time. He was able to quickly clean out the blockage but took it a step further and used a camera to verify the blockage was gone 100%. He found a spot where there might be an issue in the future and worked to make sure he cleared that up as well. JJ, the owner, is a one-man solution. After 3 months (you read that right) of having my property management company d*ck me around and send 3 different incompetent plumbers to unclog my guest bathroom, I was fed up and called JJ after reading his good reviews. HUGE plus that he provides quotes on Yelp; he was actually the first to reply to my plumbing request. Secondly, HUGE plus that he can work on high rise buildings. Some other companies said they didn't. My folks stayed with me last week for the holidays and I couldn't have a dysfunctional bathroom. He brought the right equipment, unclogged a *very* stubborn bathroom sink, explained everything patiently, and even helped me with another minor plumbing issue in my other bathroom for free.
