We replaced our aged spigot the other day but there was still a leak right at the base where the copper pipe connects to the spigot. It just so happened that a Code Red Emergency Plumbing van was only a few houses away working on some plumbing issues for our neighbor. We called the plumber over once he was done with our neighbor. Todd was super nice and accommodating. He knew exactly what to do to stop the leak. He went back to his bright yellow/red van and grabbed his tools. DO NOT USE Code Red! They installed an allegedly new water heater 3 years ago and now leaking. They will not cover anything and will not honor any kind of warranty on the unit. They told us they would only guarantee work for 1 year. Homeowners imagine having your entire home flooded and then being told you're out of luck, if you want it repaired by the company who installed it you would have to pay to have them fix what THEY INSTALLED only 3 years ago because the warranty is expired. Water heaters are supposed to last about 10 years. Our garage is flooded, drywall into house is soaked, items damaged, and all we get is "well if you want to pay for a new one, we can go out there." I had a serious irrigation leak last week at 7:30pm and Code Red saved me. I called and explained the situation and they sent Tod to my house within minutes. We had no idea where the leak was coming from, but Tod figured it out really quickly and dug right in. I love to learn, so he let me "help" him by asking a million questions and holding a flashlight while he did the hard work. Our house had a big back up problem and code red came out 4 times. The guy that came out was John Doe he did the same job 4 times over the span of 1 month. HE COULD NOT LOCATE THE SEWER MAIN LINE and told us to basically find it and then call them to come and check it out for the 5th time, like do I look like a plumber? If I was I wouldn't of called you guys. Spent over $700 for NOTHING. Called another plumbing company and they came out right away with their detector thing and found it RIGHT AWAY, And the best part of it was that they found the main line with the RIGHT tools for FREE. Where to start? We had four quotes come to our home, three from our real estate agent, one from here on Yelp. Three were unbelievably bad. One of them even tracked mud into our home from a previous job he'd been on. "Oops, sorry 'bout that," they said. They could have cleaned it up. Code Red sent Chris over. Not only was he transparently forthright, but also clearly knew his stuff. The others treated our somewhat minor job as though it was a natural disaster, needing to be blown up and rebuilt. One of them even wanted to shut off our water to cut a water line, just to get a Sawzall into our drain because "that waterline is in the way for a big saw." Chris puts a hacksaw to it, cuts it off, and works around it. The others claimed it was a three-hour minimum job. Chris/Code Red was done in under an hour, and that was with him cutting out all the old pipe and putting together a new drainstack, inside a sink cabinet. Chris was a joy to work with, conversant, cheerful, and filled with good stories. He wore booties into our home, kept the work area clean, and swept our kitchen floor when he was done. We called Code Red on Mother's Day due to a flooding we had in our home. They showed up quickly and determined that our sewer line needed to be "snaked". While the technician(Jerry) snaked our drain, all of the sudden there was no longer any water coming to our home. He tried blaming it on our water meter(Water district ruled out it was not the water meter) and refused to put down the camera down the drain. He kept trying to throw different prices just to have anything done. We got a second opinion and there it showed on the camera that the sewer pipe was broken and when water was turned on it was going straight down the sewer. Now I know that the main water line and sewer line are two completely different things and the possibility of the snake breaking through both is highly unlikely but here we are a week now with no water to our home. We had to move our 18 month old baby out and the company does not want to take any responsibility. For anyone looking into this plumbing company just beware that they might come for one problem but cause another. read more

So, this probably would have been 5 stars up until the end. We got a huge water bill and turned out we needed our water main replaced. Their quote was reasonable and they started work the next day. Tod was quick to reply and very nice. After the first day of digging and breaking up concrete they realized the main wasn't where they thought it was. So at that point decided to use a locator (not sure why that wouldn't have been used at the beginning). In the end, ended up running a completely new line, took it in through the garage, through attic, and down to connect at supply to house. We paid for the job in full and he was going to come back Saturday to fix the sprinkler lines they broke and cap off the old line into house. ***No show on Saturday, said he would be there Sunday. No show and no reply to messages on Sunday. Monday finally replied and said he would come on Tuesday. Came out Tuesday, fixed one broken line. Left multiple other sprinkler lines broken, and never capped off old line to house. He was also supposed to quote 2 other jobs that I need done, but I guess they don't need the business. Since it took 4 days and several no call/no shows to even get one thing fixed, I'm giving up. Hired someone else to fix the sprinkler lines they broke, and another plumber will do the 2 other jobs. If you use them, they do decent work. But don't pay the full bill until AFTER they complete the things they say they will do, or they won't get done. read more

I think they should change the name to red flag plumbing. Was told someone would be at my home at 8:00 am for estimate on water main repair. I took off work to to do this. 8:15 no one here and no calls, texts to let me know status. Called the office and was told they would contact technician and get right back to me with status. Fifteen minutes later no call back so I call them. 'Oh, I was just getting ready to call you," whatever. Told me technician was 5 minutes away Gets there 1 hour late at 9:00 am. Nice enough guy. Solution offered was to run a water main through my garage walls to avoid having to break up concrete, which sounded not very quality to me. Regardless, I was getting other quotes so went along with it. Was told I would have the quote by end of that day. Day comes and goes, no quote. Next afternoon call the office asking for quote. They had written email address incorrectly so gave them correct one. Was told it was just resent. 24 hours later, still waiting. Ended up going with someone who came when they said they would, gave me fair quote the very same day and they will go under the concrete as it should be. read more

Called to make an appointment for a plumber to come out and fix a leak. Was told they did not have any appointments till the following week. So I scheduled it for their next available. So I wait all damn day and no one shows. When I call they say I am not even on the schedule. Not happy! Edit to review. It's very disappointing when you wait over one week for an appointment and call the same number you saved in your phone and call it back to see why no one has showed up and you hear they have no record of the appointment. My master bath toilet valve had broken so that it couldn't shut off. I went to fix it this afternoon and could not get the old one off. Since it was a one piece valve with the fill line attached, the line had busted from the pliers as I tried to separate the ring from the valve. Knowing this was now beyond me I called Code Red to see about getting a plumber out today since I couldn't turn my water back on until something was done about the valve. Within an hour the plumber called from a job he was finishing up in Henderson. He was going to set me up for Monday but once I explained what was going on and that I could not turn the water back on until the valve was replaced he came out to my house immediately. At first it looked like a quick job as he was able to break the corrosion and muscle the old valve off the compression ring and put the new one on in about 10 minutes. But it turned out the old ring was leaking and it then turned into an hour to try to get it off. Finally he did it and got the new ring, valve, and fill line on without any leaks. All that was $85 (I had all the parts already) and I really wished I had cash on hand because I would have totally tipped him. As much as I would like to name my fantastic plumber I did not get a receipt when he left. Not blaming him though, since he was pretty tired from doing his best to get this fixed. read more

He didn't try to sell me any extra products or services. He just fixed my problem and cleaned up after he was done. The price was exceptionally reasonable as I had priced the replacement parts online from Lowe's and Home Depot before deciding on getting a professional to fix it right the first time. A few days after he fixed my toilet, he gave me a courtesy call to ensure the toilet was working and thanked us for our business. I had a drip from sink faucet, they repaired it for $350, was not cheap. But the next day I noticed water leakage below the sink. I called Code Red and was given appointment for next day between 9 AM-12 , but no one showed up. I called Code Red after 12 pm and was told a plumber would call me back, but no one did. I called Code Red then at 5 pm told them no one showed up at the designated times, then no one called me, he mumbled and apologized and did not even say that he would follow up on it.
