As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. RTA cabinets from a Malaysian manufacturer that are put together onsite by this vendor who…read moreprimarily works with GCs. I chose the grey cabinets for a kitchen remodel. My contractors first experience with Eon Cabinetry. There were issues of incorrect cabinets ordered by my GC. Be aware that they cannot be returned once they are installed. Overall, I would say that the cabinets are of nice appearing quality and a good price , but some other issues were noted during installation.. If you use them, the colors are nice, but there are some production line problems, and 2 cabinet doors were too long. I Was told that it was a fabrication error from the manufacturer. Several other cabinet doors were warped and needed to be returned, apparently due to the extreme heat in the vendors local warehouse during the Texas heat. So, be aware that the cabinets are not kept in a temperature controlled environment. They will replace any defect if you notice it and tell them. Some scratches noted on other doors and also some other areas (not showing, where the paint was peeling off. (The heat?) the cabinets look very good in the kitchen, but I will have to remember to update the review to see how long they actually hold up. The office was very willing to replace any defective doors that the GC brought to their attention and they give you touch up paint and putty as well. The paint did not match perfectly for large dings, but they will replace the door if that is an issue. My advice is to go over every cabinet when you get them, and ask your GC for a DRY FIT, before installing them so that if there are defects or incorrect sizes ordered, or the layout is wrong, you are then able to exchange them. Have your GC deal with the office staff as I felt they were a bit salty and they don't seem to deal with the public directly it seems. FYI: these cabinets can also be ordered from other vendors online under different names, but, if they arrive damaged, it can take weeks and more hassles to get them replaced. My GC was able to get replacements within 2 hours. So just be aware of that if you decide to buy them online. It could put your project behind if you get something defective or they are the wrong size etc.... The main benefit of using this vendor was because they are local and have a brick and mortar location in Fort Worth. I would say that if I were to do house flipping, I might use them again. Pros: price, local vendor, responsive to quality issues or exchanges. Cons: limited selection, some quality control from mfctr, and quality control issues on vendors side resulting in wood warping from extreme temps in a non temperature controlled warehouse. Recommendations: inspect every cabinet, do a dry fit before install, and check every door for dings, scratches and warping etc in the summer before installing.
