This is the second review I have left for Nick and I highly recommend this company. I am extremely pleased with American Home Systems and the work that they did. He did work at my office a few years back so I decided to reach out to him again for an estimate, this time at my home. I also did my research and decided to call a few other companies for an estimate as well I spoke with Nick and he came to my house to go over my plans for speakers throughout the house and setting up a security camera system. He was very knowledgeable and recommended the best system for my needs and budget. He also suggested the best placements for cameras to cover the whole property without additional cameras. This time he came with his little brother who was kind and learning the ropes from his brother. I loved that it's a family business but at the same time professional and resourceful like a large corporation. After reviewing the estimates, I decided to go with Nick and American Home Systems. Again, he was very knowledgeable plus I have already had a great experience with him. I knew what I was going to get, and I was actually surprised how happy I was with the service and quality of work. He was the only one out of like 4 other companies who took the time to come out, look at the property, give advice, and, finally, provide estimate on site vs over the phone via looking at Google Earth or just by asking me questions. Nick is the best. Moving into a house and knowing no one in the AV field, I got five bids from well reviewed vendors on Yelp. Choosing Nick was an easy choice. His integrity is unquestionable and he really knows his stuff. Not to mention he is all about service. He even went with me to Best Buy to look at TVs for over an hour. He also does a great job making himself available by phone whenever I have a question or an issue. In the end though, it's all about the product and I could not be happier. Very professional team, especially the young energetic guy Adam. When I was worry about something, Nick(the owner) always took the time to explain to me everything, even after the job was finished, Nick came with his team to help me fix unrelated issue with my cameras and sound system FOR FREE. I used these guys to upgrade some of the speakers and the lighting in my home. They installed a system by control 4 that managed the speakers in my house and all the lighting. I am tremendously satisfied with American Home Systems. I first spoke to Nick when I found AHS on Yelp and he was extremely kind and courteous. Nick was patient with me on our first phone call as I asked him many questions regarding the set up of security cameras around my home along with some minor smart home integrations. Nick sounded very knowledgable so I decided to have him come by my home to give me an estimate. After receiving estimates from three different companies I chose a American Home Systems to do the work. During the process, Nick educated me on some of the best products on the market. I'm a technical guy so I like to know how the technology works. Nick explained how everything works in a way the was easy to understand. Nick and his team at American Home Systems set up 6 different cameras around my home and installed a basic audio system in my living room. His team also programmed the security cameras and audio system to my iPhone/iPad so I can monitor and control my systems from anywhere. What excited me the most was the camera resolution. I must say, it was beyond amazing. What shocked me the most is how Nick and his team put so much attention to detail in their work. The alignment and positioning of his systems were very precise and clean. He also made sure that all the wires were properly organized and not visible.
