My 3 month old had Covid, they gave him Tylenol and didn't suggest Covid or test for anything, I took him to instacare and he was tested for multiple things by one test and within minutes we had his test results. I called the office to let them know and they didn't seem to care. This hasn't been the only instant where they've acted dismissive and haven't tested or given good instructions for care of my sick children, I've gone to insta care and they get us in asap and test and give paperwork with instructions. For check ups uvped is great but for illness go to instacare.

She will wait a solid hour (minimum) in the lobby before they finally call her back, then she'll wait another 30 mins in the room, hearing the doctor and nurses bs and socialize ... before the doctor walks in to give her 1-5 minutes of generic "things look great, see you next time". I think it's beyond rude and disrespectful to treat patients that way, to treat them as if their time means nothing.

Because of this, my children are at a higher risk of injury than others. Apparently money or power is more important than individualized care. If my child had a peanut allergy, would I be asked to not come back? I guess we're not allowed to be allergic to vaccines, that's not politically correct.

Came to meet Dr. Weston Spencer, and boy oh boy what a gem he is! He is very personable, great personality, and just made everyone feel at home instantly. I felt at peace immediately as soon as we met him and knew that we made a fantastic choice for the kids' choice of pediatrician. He communicates well and very clear. There's no questions unanswered and concerns are put at ease. In addition, the staff here are very friendly and really easy to make an appointment with the staff. The office is very clean, presentable, and you can actually smell "hand sanitizer" in the air. Everything is wiped down, and they follow strict protocol with COVID regulations. You can check in once you pull up to the parking lot, and a member of the staff will walk out to your car and walk you in once they are ready for you. Internal decor is fantastic. Every wall is accessorized so that it leaves you feeling like you're not at some "clinic" or a typical doctor's office. Patient rooms are nicely spaced out from the front desk area. We are so glad to have found this quaint gem in our neighborhood!

As they got…read morebusier we could never see the same doctor (Dr. Arnold is amazing!), which made it really hard to build a relationship between the Dr and our kids and help them to feel like the doctor actually "knew" our children. As they have gotten busier and bigger, they have become worse! One of my "adult" children (18 yrs old) needed to see the Dr urgently and we had not established him into our adult family medicine MD yet, so he had to go to Alpine Peds. He was doing what any adult child should do: schedule and handle his own appointments. They sent ME the pre visit questionnaire and forms to fill out. They have no understanding of HIPAA. Due to privacy laws, I should not have even been told he was seeing the Dr, let alone be the one filling out his forms. When I questioned them about this they replied, "That's our policy." After hearing that same phrase multiple times on different occasions, I pulled all of my children from their medical practice. Imagine if you were an 18 year old girl wanting birth control, or being scared and pregnant, and this is the only practice you know, and turn to them for help and privacy, and have them send the forms to your parents to fill out. If you want an out of touch, non-personal medical experience, this is the office for you!

I couldn't got two sentence out without him talking over me and cutting me off. His advice was essentially "it doesn't sound like strep" and then for some reason he tested for strep which came back negative and that was that. He didn't seem concerned for me. I left feeling frustrated because I wasn't listened to and offended by how much he cut me off. I went to an insta care right after to find another doctor. The doctor at insta care actually listened carefully, in stark contrast to Dr. L. The whole consult was shorter than Alpine Pediatrics but the doctor at Insta Care listened, gave me advice for over the counter meds, gave me a referral because he was concerned, and actually asked me if I had any other questions or concerns. That's all I needed from Alpine Pediatrics.

I switched my 10 year old daughter to his care. We had been dealing with tummy issues and her old pediatrician's office always told us that it was all in her head. With her old pediatrician we only saw the actual pediatrician once. The remaining well-check visits were always done by their technicians, which I didn't like. When I switched my daughter to Dr. wise' care, he immediately knew what was wrong and what she needed done to get rid of her tummy issues. My daughter was sent to a children's hospital for a quick procedure and after that she did much better with her tummy. We never get assigned a technician, it's always him caring for his patients which is really nice. No dealing with random strangers every visit. I took one star because of their billing department. They should be able to remind you if there is a balance in your account when you bring your kids in. After our son's NICU stay, we were under the impression that his office was paid in full by our insurance. I visited I don't know how many times after my son was discharged from the NICU. As he went home on oxygen. Was never told, there was a balance. They sent us to a nasty collection agency who were rude and uncooperative when it came to the payment amount they wanted. We just barely finished paying that off but it was hectic to deal with those jerks. Any other doctor's office has reminded me that there is a balance in the account. That's nice and appreciated when you have so much on your plate already, caring for your newborn and being sleep deprived. I was upset about the whole billing department ordeal, but not enough to let it affect my decision to stick with a good pediatrician for my kids.

I was the one barely keeping it together. Yes, CHAR, YOU were out of line. Not only that, you're the RECEPTIONIST at the Dr office. You SHOULD be compassionate. Especially when the worst thing I did was ask you where to check in, and if it was urgent care. You are NOT the kind of person cut out for a health care job of any sort. Shame. On. You. Char, you are anything but kind. You were confrontational and rude. Your face is the first one people see when coming for urgent care. If you can't answer simple questions in a decent way, (even if the questioner is curt) you have no business being the receptionist. People who are sick and in pain should not have to then field more pain from you. I've been going to PFM in PG since 2003 starting with Dr Liddle. Then Crockett, and now Willis. And their office staff is sublime. I have never been dealt with with such a lack of compassion at PFM until I Unfortunately happened upon you.

My daughter had been struggling for years with constipation issues. They always told me, kids tend to hold their vowel movements and make things worse. They said it was all in her head and sent us home with a Miralax prescription, every time. Our son was sent to the NICU after being born and we decided to let him remain under the care of the same pediatrician he had during his stay there. In order to avoid bills from two different pediatric offices, we decided to switch our daughter to the same pedi our son had. Turns out our daughter had been dealing with a terrible blockage and she needed help clearing things out before she could be able to go on her own. I felt so bad that all this time I had been forcing her to go because the "experts" told us it was all in her head. First visit with her new pediatrician and he knew exactly what she had and sent her to Primary Children to get it taken care of. Now I know to always get a second opinion and never to trust doctors just because they are the ones with the degree. I give them two stars because they do have a separate entrance for patients who are sick. Reducing the risk of getting sick for those who are only there to get a well-check. While a positive thing, this obviously doesn't make up for the lack of care and knowledge when it comes to their tiny patients.
