The sales people in your store were all so helpful and had lots of good suggestion, even a young man (Cutter) had great ideas for my shopping list. From what I saw the assistant manager was on her phone when I walked in and some of the other workers were too. I've been to this location multiple times and if you asked me to pick the manager out of the regular sales associates I couldn't. He did not act professional and seemed annoyed when I had a question. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was just legitimately uncool. There were a couple very kind sales associates who I did speak too. But from what I have not only seen but heard from others who have shopped here is that the manager is very unprofessional and acts like he is 16 instead on a grown adult. Maybe if they replaced or retrained management on how to act with customers or even their own employees this location would improve

They offered to order it and ship it at no extra cost. Much appreciated. Otherwise it's a smaller 5.11 store, with most of the stuff seen in the larger one. It just wasn't overly stocked. But I got what I needed.

I have been to a lot of 5.11 stores in California and the employees are always helpful and…read morefriendly. Additionally, most of the selection is the same with a few differences. One of the differences as opposed to California is that they carry Stiletto Knives, Also Known As CIA Gravity Knives. They are approximately 4.5 inches long and the blade deploys and retracts from the grip using a dual throw (Forward and Back) button or switch. Very cool! Don't worry California, I did not buy one, as cool as they are. Yup, all of the fun stuff is illegal in California, like butterfly knives, Stilettos and firearms with the "Fun Button" (Safe-Semi-Auto) on them. Sigh! One light at the end of the tunnel was "Jerry". Be nice to Jerry, he is a cool guy but if you get on his nerves, that's on you. All I can say is that he has seen some stuff and he may be the definition of "F" around and find out. Jerry is very knowledgeable and he pointed my nephew in the direction of the perfect tactical backpack, among other accessories and toys that will compliment his new career in federal law enforcement. I did not buy much, except for a memorable patch. I get one from each 5.11 I visit, just to say "Been there, my dude!" Overall, it is a large store with a lot of selection. If you are looking for some discounted or marked down winter ware, now is the time to check it out. I found a neat jacket, however I live in the Sweltering Summer portion of California and triple digit temperatures are less than a month away. So, I passed on the jacket. However, if you are Military, Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire Department, Practical Pistol Shooter, Multi-Platform (Pistol & Long Gun) competitor, or a First Responder of any kind and you need boots, pants, "Shorts", a tactical carrier (No Ballistic Plates are sold here, to my knowledge), morale patches, a quick snap tourniquet or some gym attire,... Talk to Jerry! Heck I would go back just to chew the fat with Jerry again. Be safe, everyone!

Some of the brand I saw were Ugg, Nike, adidas, new balance, Birkenstock, and sooo many more. I'd def recommend if you're needing a new pair of shoes for just about any occasion. The woman working at the counter was super nice. She let me know they weather proof the shoes for $9, so I added that. It took about a minute for it to be done. I wore these weather proofed shoes around New York on a rainy day and my feet stayed entirely dry. Loved the weather proofing!!!

I asked the elderly older woman working there if it came in another color and she pointed to a rack and said yes lavender. She could not be bothered to stop folding clothes to show me where I could find the dress. The dress was not on the rack that she pointed to and I was feeling a little silly for not seeing what she was talking about. She then after a couple of minutes of me looking around tried to find a dress that was not on the rack. Then had the audacity to tell me the dress I was looking at was a jumper. It was not a jumper I literally opened the dress to show her that but she walked away she did not care or have time for me. We were talking about two different clothing items. Now I did still think that it was a cute dress even in black but I will not buy anything from somewhere that does not have time for me. I was not being difficult I just needed some help.

It was about 6 packages that didn't come with any receipts. All I wanted to do was exchange them for sizes that were right. Not a refund. Cashier number 3268323 , didn't get her name and another boy who seemed to be in a supervisory position asked for a drivers license. No problem. Gave them my drivers licence, after which they kept insisting that I have made too many returns at their sister brands and my drivers license wasn't getting accepted. And that since they tried twice already there is no way they were going to do it again. I assured them I don't shop any of the other sister brands. They told me there was nothing they can do without the original receipt. Okay, well it didn't come in the box... what am I supposed to do? So I call my mother, she's of course embarrassed and upset and I get the receipt and it's still a hard time for these two apparently and they're asking me for the banana republic card that was used. Guys... is this a joke? How many times do I need to repeat that I am not the same individual who purchased these items. Why am I being treated like I'm a security risk or as if I had stolen these items at the gap? This isn't a high end boutique, this isn't rocket science. I'm just trying to get the right sizes for my kids. Meanwhile they keep printing this slip of paper with a phone number I need to call sand shoving it at me. They gave me two. Meanline a line is forming behind me and these two are doing all they can just to get me to leave, shoving my returns back at me and repeating that there's nothing they can do. This is when I got really upset. I live upstairs in the apartments at the mall, I could be your loyal customer with 2 kids who are constantly outgrowing sizes. This is not the customer service I am used to with gap. These two were not looking to help me find a solution to a problem I'm sure many many other parents are experiencing this season. I will not be back again. Looks like it will be online shopping for me despite the fact that I live 40 feet away. Very disappointing. It would benefit this store to train their team to be customer focused and solution oriented and not automatically assume we are doing something wrong.
