I live closer to this H-D dealership now and come in kinda regularly for Harley "motorclothes." Most things aren't made in the USA any more, but I have no trouble finding clothes and accessories I like that *aren't* made in China! The people here are super friendly and always very helpful. I've bought my bikes elsewhere before moving closer to Denton and neither is under warranty, so I don't usually go to a dealer for service. I was purchasing my first bike here and had the pleasure of having Royd as my salesman. Royd was a great guy who was up front and honest with the whole process. The guy didn't jack me around and was up front and to the point when we were discussing what I was looking for in a bike and negotiating price. I recommend AEHD for any repairs to your bike. They are clean and responsive. I am always 100% satisfied with the work done whenever I have my bike serviced. For example, I got back my 2024 CVO Road Glide St cleaner than I brought it in. Again, I recommend the AEHD service and parts department for anything you need to be done to your Harley. read more

Bought my bike in 2019. At that time I purchased 14 inch handlebars and had them installed by the service dept. When I got the bike I took it out for a ride. During the ride In the middle of a sweeping curve I hit some loose gravel and the rear end slipped causing me to grip the bars pulling them toward me. As I pulled on the handlebars in the middle of a skid they came down about half way to my legs. I took it back to AE and they tightened the bars and I left it at that. The next thing was my nephew took his bike to AE for a 15000 mile service where they "tighten" all the critical fasteners. When he got it back, we took the bikes from AE and trailered them to Arkansas to the pig trail. While riding the Pig Trail his gear shift linkage came loose. If that's not a critical fastener I don't know what is. Luckily the nut landed on the motor. We put it back on and made it out to a place where we could find a wrench to tighten it. The last thing to happen was I got hit on the road and part of the damage was to the handle bars. Insurance paid to replace them I had AE put them on. While riding home I had to swerve pretty hard to miss a giant pothole on the on-ramp of I-35. As I swung wide I had to pull on the bars to avoid some gravel and believe it or not those handle bars came down to my lap and I almost wiped out in front of highway traffic at about 75 MPH. When I stopped to check it out I noticed the mirror on the clutch side was out of place. When I grabbed it to adjust it the whole grip rotated. I checked the other side and that grip was loose also. That's criminal negligence as far as I'm concerned. That's three stories of negligence over the course of four years. Three stories from one person no less. Negligence that could have gotten me killed or seriously hurt. Beware this dealerships service department. I assure you I wouldn't let them work on my lawnmower. read more

Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for "Big Chris" and his utter lack of communication. If it wasn't for already putting money down as a deposit to hold the bike I would have ensured we went elsewhere. Everyone else was absolutely amazing. Revised review: There was a clerical error on their part. Since then they have contacted and refunded the amount. The amount should have been caught by the parts rep. The short haired blonde that checked me out didn't even care if I was there, so she sure didn't notice. She turned her back on me and was playing on her phone while I was waiting at the register to be checked out. The other cashier had to tell her I was there. American Eagle is an awesome Harley Davidson location. They have a wonderful and helpful staff and their dealership is one of a kind. If you're in the area or passing through you should certainly stop on through! When you do make sure to sign up for their text messages and follow their Facebook! They host events and rides most weekends with food, beer, and a live band! Outside they have a great deal of covered motorcycle parking, covered tables, and a stage. I was grouped with 5 other brand new rider. The instructor LARRY could not give clear instructions and clear expectations and spent the whole first 2 hrs babying his HD counter clerk coworker. The day before I was due to pick up my bike, I got a text from the service guy "Jimmy" telling me that my bike would not be done for another 7-10 days. Here is where the disappointment stems from: Had the part(s) for this transaction, had been researched and/ordered, in advance (while the bike sat there at the dealership) this proactive approach could have reduced the lead-time. Communication: If upon finding out that the part was back-ordered (see above) I was notified of this issue immediately, I would not have been set up for disappointment, the day before I was due to pick up my bike. If someone would have said, hey I am sorry about dropping the ball, by not checking parts availability ASAP, and communicating with you ASAP, I would of at least chalked it up to S*%$ Happens "whatever". I got nothing. These dealers charge a premium for a premium product. I feel like the American Eagle Harley-Davidson service department in Corinth, TX, have a lot to learn about customer care, before, during, and after the sale. This service department which arguably is the most forward facing customer experience at the dealership does not understand the art of customer care and could benefit from a better ticketing system and customer service training. Jeff Miodowski the Service Manager, did email me to let me know that he thought his service guy did all that he could do to help me. He then failed to return my email response, and his voicemail box is full when I tried to call. I have been a customer since 2015 when I purchased my first Harley. My sales man then was Daniel who is now Sales Mgr. I purchased my second Harley-Davidson on Saturday from Danny. Both times my experience was very pleasant and I truly think the team is wonderful to work with from start to finish. As a Harley-Davidson rider you know you need gear and the motorcycle clothes for women at AE is great. I can always find my size (plus size). They have a great selection of boots even for size 11. I took there ride safety class and would not recommend first day was PowerPoints instructor just sat there while we read off the slides and that was the first day. Second day was riding he wanted us the earlier and didn't give us a choice from the original scheduled time we had to be in our bikes at 6:30am . Then in terms of break we were in all our gear in the hot sun till about noon I requested a sooner break cause I was dehydrated and he refused and told me to get back on my bike. Then a few hours later we got a break and it was for 5 seconds and had to continue back up. According to osha safety they recommend you need to have at least a 15 min break if in the hot sun in the shade . I would not recommend this class to anyone for your safety and being all self taught when I have never rode a bike before . read more

they want to claim they're here for the veterans, but when they come back after devastating tragedies..... they're ignored???!!‍ i have to say i'm soooooo disappointed in the way this particular woman who works there treated my father ernie romero!!!!! in may 2018 my father survived a horrible stroke leaving him with aphasia, can't walk and non verbal & on top of that with severe depression!!!! mind you..... he was a regular.... everytime he went in there, they knew of him..... all so nice and took the time to talk to him (i'm starting to think it's all bc he spent sooooo much money there).. .....well.... today after 2 years he finally wanted to go to hd shop to see the people he knew!!!! he was like a kid in a candy store!!!! my mother took him so excited to see his head held high and a huge smile on his face!!!! he sees someone he knows and waves her down..... she recognizes him, but in a rush she said she had to attend to customers..... not once, not twice but 3 times!!!!!! then in front of my father and mother she's having a conversation with an employee...... at this point mom says he's getting sad and puts his head down and points to the door to leave...... as mom rolled my dad towards the door she then wants to say bye!!!!!?????? i get employees can be busy..... but don't ever get to busy where you just ignore .... not just someone... but a great man who's overcome so much and was your regular customer!!!!! i get he wasn't in there to obviously buy something from your store, but treat everyone with respect and give a person 2 minutes of your time!!!! no one knows the hell we've been through and for you to treat him like this the only time he wants to leave the house, was the worse experience for him bc of you!!!!! now he's in bed again with depression!!!!!! thanks so much for making him feel like he was nothing when you were his happy place before the stroke!!!!! he's served his country (navy veteran) he beat throat cancer, he survived a stroke and mental illness..... he'll survive this bc we love him..... treat people with respect!!!!!!! read more

Find another dealership. American Eagle Harley has been an utter disappointment for me. I'll keep it simple. This is on my new '19 Fat Bob S. First, they had to special order what I needed for my Stage I plus AutoTune upgrade. No surprise, all good. Except that after the long wait, the Parts Dept. messed up. I was told that everything was in and to bring the bike. They said it would be ready tomorrow. Ok. Tomorrow comes, no bike. They didn't know they had to order a wiring harness for the AutoTuner. The Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle AutoTuner. Strike one. More waiting. Ok, get a call when it's ready. I went with the Bassani pipes and the bike sounded awesome! I'm a happy man. They say ok, look it over and sign here. I look it over. The passenger peg is missing. They didn't know. We found it mounted to the factory pipes in the shop. Strike two and call me when you can fix this. Now it gets interesting. I get two miles and the bike lights up. Check engine. Strike three. I go back and they 'fix' it. Oh yeah, just old codes. Nothing to worry about. Ok. Two miles later, check engine. No problem, they said. Known issue (this is called lies, you'll see in a minute). Yes, it happens, it's a bad O2 sensor. Seen it before. We'll order new ones, you'll be fine riding like that until they come in. We'll call you. They did call. Strike four? They fixed it. It was a known issue. The AutoTuner must be installed on a clean ground. As we have already seen, American Eagle Harley Davidson doesn't know how to work on Harley Davidsons so they had no clue. They found out when they called Harley Davidson for help. Let's move on. I wasn't going to write a review. When I get great service or a great deal on a good product, yeah, I'm quick to write a review. I like writing good reviews. This never came close. All of this was months ago. I just wanted to forget the whole thing and move on with my life. It all changed when I got home after a short ride today. Pulled into the garage and turned around to look at my Baby. Then my guts hit the floor. Remember the aforementioned wiring harness? It's all hanging down under the bike. Closer examination only made things worse. The wiring had slipped out of the single zip tie, revealing much more that I just couldn't believe. The routing was idiotic! I unplugged everything and rerouted it properly. Then I did something American Eagle probably can't afford to do. I used three zip ties instead of one. Hang onto your hat, we ain't done. While I'm down there, I find more. The clamps on the heat shields.... One is loose, one is stripped, one isn't even attached. The cover where the two pipes go into one has shifted. I adjust and retighten. Nit picking? Not anymore, it isn't. Not at this stage in the game. Especially when once I'm done with it, everything seems to fit together a little better than it had before. I was going to let it all go without saying a word. Just like I did when they put my pipes on another bike back in '17 when I bought my CVO Breakout from them. I let it go. It was a nightmare I just wanted to escape. Not this time. American Eagle Harley Davidson sucks. I know. I've given them every chance, they've screwed me every time. I've spent a ton of money there. I've purchased two brand new bikes from them. I've done tons of custom stuff to them. There was always something. My advice to any and all who read this is simple. Go to Maverick, or anywhere else. These people don't care about you. Yeah, they know my name. It hasn't helped. They simply don't know how to work on Harleys. I bought my last Harley, my Baby, somewhere else. I thought it would be alright to go back to American Eagle for a simple Stage One and an AutoTuner. It doesn't get any easier, right? How could they possibly screw that up, right? Boy, was I wrong. As far as a dealership I can't rate, as far as the "learn to ride" class they offer here, please... choose else where. I was in a class with only 4 people. 2 of which whom already rode motorcycles, one whom already had a bike. And then there was me, someone who has never operated a motorcycle. The instructor I had, I can't recall his name, older gentlemen told us on the first day of class we would be reading the slides and answering questions out loud because he was "not going to be talking any more than he had to" he did not seem like he wanted to be there teaching us at all. That was just on the intro day which was 3 hours. The next day was getting on the bikes. Everyone in my class was fairly proficient at riding already and learning the maneuvers quickly, where as I, never operated a motorcycle before was having a hard time keeping my bike straight and balanced at times. The instructor kept telling me what I was doing wrong, but never really showed me how to fix it. There was one or two tips he gave me before he asked me to leave (hazard to the other cyclists) I was not TAUGHT anything. This guy did not want to be teaching the class from day one, I could tell from his attitude, and all he did was make me aware of the things that I was doing wrong but never how to correct them besides telling me to focus on one point which I would do and still continue to wobble. Later on, after having discussed this with my local Harley dealer that I normally go to, (they apologized on this dealers behalf) and they explained to me what was possibly the problem and how to fix it and pointers, they taught me more than this class did and they were not my instructor nor getting paid to teach me like my instructor was. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE IF YOURE A FIRST TIME RIDER. THEY DO NOT HAVE PATIENCE AND TIME FOR YOU. I was asked twice by my instructor if I could ride a bicycle, second time was one of those "are you lying? Can you really?" Tones when he asked again. Both times, stern yes. I would ask questions that may be common sense to someone who has worked on bikes and has ridden motorcycles for quite some time, but may not be common sense to new beginning riders. Any time I asked my questions Ex: "When coming to a stop do we fully squeeze the clutch" I got a look like "are you kidding me?" When you're learning something, especially operating a motorcycle I like to not assume things and ask, but when you're made to feel like an idiot for asking, it makes you not want to ask anything again. Overall awful experience at this specific location. If you all want EXCELLENT customer service and people who WANT to help you , please go to the HARLEY DAVIDSON OF DALLAS in ALLEN. You will not be disappointed here, so many friendly people who will jump on the opportunity to help you in any way possible, answer any questions you have and guide you the right way. I spoke with the person in charge of the academy and the American Eagle H-D, She was very friendly to deal with, and I was refunded my money. But I did feel like everything I told her that was wrong by the instructor, there was a a rebuttal with a justification. The H-D of Allen set me up at Go Motorcycle Training (only because I had to do the class during the week and their dealership only did their classes on the weekend or else I would have went with them) I followed up with the person in charge of the American Eagle HD academy and told her it was night and day compared to the two instructors. I told her I passed with no problems. A rebuttal of "Well the bikes they use are a lot smaller" with my rebuttal of " I just purchased a Harley street 750 and I can ride it just fine". With a rebuttal from her of "well maybe we just need to not put women in his class" If you need to remove women out of a specific instructors class... maybe you need to lose the instructor. This Harley Davidson has lost my business and respect for a lifetime. I recommend the H-D of Dallas in Allen. read more

A VERY late review, but the memory remains. In 2000 I moved from Denton to South Florida, so I sold my Suzuki Intruder, knowing I would get killed on it (crazy Florida drivers!) In May of 2006, I got a great job in DFW, and wanted to reward myself by getting a new ride. Lo and behold a Harley dealership was less than a mile from my house! I wanted a Sportster 1200L! I thought, "YAY!" BOOOOOOO. I enter the store after work, still in my business suit (guess that was a mistake. Mind you slacks, not a dress, so I could ride.) I look around the Sportsters. No pressures sales. No pressure. None. I couldn't get waited on, and I was THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE AT 2 PM. (Yeah, based on my reviews I hate it when I'm ignored.) Fifteen minutes, I'm sitting on the demos, sales staff wandering about, nothing. I didn't blend in, I was wearing a pink suit. I meander up to the clothing sales counter near the front entrance, and politely ask, "Is there any sales staff working today?" She replied, "Are you looking for your husband?" GRRRRRRRR. North Texas Yamaha near Lewisville made a $12K sale that day. Cash. Add on a cool pink helmet. I was a motivated buyer that day. So here it is, four years later. I am driving 25 miles north of American Eagle Harley (less than a mile, remember?) to the Carrolton Harley dealership because I want a Harley (no offense Yamaha.) Granted, I see the place packed on Saturdays, hot dogs, live bands, etc. They seem to do a good business. They just aren't chick friendly. So if you are a guy, this could be a five star location. Last Saturday began calling local HD dealerships to ensure that their parts department have what I need. I've got the part number, and knowledgable in what I am looking for. I call this dealership's parts department and Greg answers the call. I tell him what I'm looking for, and that I have the part number. He proceeds to tell me 3 times that they have what I need, that he's looking at the rack with lots of choices, and that it's not an uncommon part. The part I needed IS unique, and only fits one year, a 2009 Road King. So I drive way out of my way to this dealership, and of course because Greg was way too lazy to check on the part number, it's not there. I was livid. So here is the Customer Service lesson to the Parts Department manager, or who ever pays attention to this. You wasted my time! I arrived expecting the promise of having the part, and was severely disappointed. I ended up finding the part at another HD dealership on the other side of town. There, the parts person actually got up off the chair, and put his hands on it for me BEFORE I took the time to drive way over there. That was worth it, and American Eagle HD is not. This review will also cover their MSF riders course. The teacher was awesome! Very cool guy and made things easy to understand. Even more important he made things laid back and not stressful. When you messed up he told you what you did wrong and you worked on it again. No pressure, i really enjoyed the class. The problem with the class was Harley Davidson made him push their product sooooo much! The two day class could have been only one day, but they shoved so much harley crap in your face every chance they got. So because of that I have to give the class 3 out of 5 stars. Now on to the actual dealership. Staff very friendly and they knew their products back and forth! Here is where the problem comes in though. I was looking to buy a buell 12XB from them. They did not have one for sale and i asked if they could check other dealerships. They told me no and then pushed me to look at some of the cruisers they had. I kept explaining i was looking for a buell only. Once they figured out i only wanted a buell the customer service just stopped. They have cared less about helping me find one. I finally found on the internet the shops that still had a few in stock, but once again due to people not calling me back i went out that day and bought a yamaha r6.(much much happier i did due to the style of riding i do). Harley Davidson is in the business to sell motorcycles and they could have cared less about selling me one.
