The prices quoted were over $200 less than the name brand competitor recommended by my insurance company. However, the replacement took an extra day because the window ordered initially lacked an important part and couldn't be installed. After the new window arrived from a different supplier, the installation went OK and the car looked great. However the sensor for lane position wasn't properly calibrated and I had to go back to have it re-calibrated. After that glitch everything was OK. American Eagle personnel gave me no explanation for the glitches with the inital bad window part or the difficulty with the sensor calibration, but they did go out of their way to make those problems right. read more

We just had the windshield replaced in my wife's Forester. American Eagle Auto Glass was a pleasure to work with. Finding a generic replacement windshield proved to be so difficult that American Eagle ended up purchasing OEM glass through our local Subaru dealer which American Eagle installed. This is not what set American Eagle apart. When we first heard that generic (less costly) glass was very difficult to find I thought I'd try a different glass company just in case they might have what we needed in stock. I quickly found out that reaching a real person at the "big" national glass replacement company was much more difficult than I could have ever imagined. Their phone voice mail just refers you to their website which pushes you to make a reservation and upsell you with additional services and products. I was never able to reach a live person to ask a simple question. American Eagle's phone reaches a live person, and they even called me several times during the process with updates. read more

I am giving American eagle automotive glass company five star rating. While the work was not completed I am giving them this review because of their effort. I had called them on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 and attempt to find a replacement drivers side rear passenger door window for my 2012 Jeep liberty. Wade who is either the general manager or the owner told me he could get the glass in by 11 AM on Wednesday, August 4 2021. I arrived promptly at 11 AM for my appointment his text immediately began getting into the vehicle, however they found that the window regulator which is the mechanics that raise and lower the window had also broken. They probably ordered a new part for me however they did not feel comfortable installing the window regulator so they told me to take it to a body shop. I did pay for the window and a regulator and took both to an automotive body shop. When the body shop had installed the window regulator it broke I probably called Wade and explained the situation, he told me to bring the broken regulator back to him in the original box and it would be refunded through him for the defective part. Even though they did not complete the work I am still giving them A five star rating for the effort alone which meant more to me than anything else. read more

Had a cracked windshield. After Safelight wasted my time (2 trips to their shop where they did nothing), I asked my insurance company who they recommend to replace the windshield. They recommended American Eagle -- and I'm glad they did. I was able to make an appointment easily, they ordered the windshield in advance so everything was ready when I got there for that appointment, and they fixed everything in a few hours, including recalibrating the sensors for the safety devices. I went here to get my rear windshield re-sealed in May, as it was leaking after another establishment had installed a new rear windshield on my car a few months prior. The owner (or at least, the main guy who runs the place) is very friendly and knowledgeable, and was able to tell me pretty quickly that they would have to remove the entire windshield in order to re-install and reseal it. He quoted me a reasonable price for the service. They are very busy, so making an appointment is key. They kept me updated on the status of my car, did a thorough job, and it was exactly the price I was quoted. Additionally, they guarantee their work and I was assured I could always call or come back if there was an issue. I'm thrilled to no longer have water coming into the back of my car when it rains or when it goes through a car wash. I definitely recommend! read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have never left a review on any business before. But I feel like I have to for this place. I needed a small chip in my windshield fixed, and when I got the car back, the crack in my windshield was two inches bigger. When I told them about it, they told me that a new mechanic at the shop worked on my car and so he must've made it worse. They told me they wouldn't do anything for me though. A simply $50 fix they were telling me would turn into at least $600 to repair it. The mechanic who went out to look at it pressed down on the broken spot of the windshield, and made the glass break even more! He acted like it didn't happen! They were rude, unprofessional, and to this day my windshield is a lot more cracked than it used to be. Horrible business that I would avoid. read more

These guys are legit. I had a crack in my windshield and my insurance company recommended them. I set up an appointment, walked in, and they were done quicker than expected. They were also super nice an helpful. While I was waiting for my windshield, I noticed they were helping another customer who was struggling with his insurance company. They were very nice, seemed to be very knowledgable, and were clearly on the customer's side. They were really doing everything in their power to help the customer. Really friendly and quick service. I used American Eagle to purchase door glass for a DIY installation. I was pleasantly surprised how well I was treated. Usually, when I call service companies to buy parts for DIY, I get a lot of attitude, as they try to coerce me to pay them for installation. Not here. Dave was super friendly and courteous on the phone. The glass was available next day at a very reasonable price, and everything went flawlessly. TERRIBLE service. I made an appointment to replace my windshield and drop my car off at 7am on that day, I was told to be done in the morning, but did not get call. So I checked around 1:30, and it was still not sitting in a lot, not been fixed. At 4 pm, I got call, saying that new windshield I ask him to put in would not work ( I did ask him what I need and he said no problem) and I have to have an expensive one which they do not have. OK, maybe he misunderstood me, but he could call me in the morning and let me know what was going on rather than waiting to even check my car until 4pm. I had an appointment! Because of this incompetence I had to skip my kids' swimming lesson for nothing!! I will never use this company!! read more
