I have been driving 35 years and it was instructive to me (we all might benefit from a refresher!). Bobby was patient, calm but firm, and the course was well planned to slowly increase the driving difficulty and put the learner in different situations in a safe manner. Can't say enough. 10 stars out of 5.

Bill was very realistic and upfront at the start, that I would learn how to get feom point A to point B, but it might not be pretty! By the end of the lesson, I felt reasonably confident in my newfound skill. Bill gave me the Zen-like attitude and skills necessary to instantly recognize what was going on whenever the car did not respond as intended, and to take emotions out of the problem-solving process. These things can be so hard when you inevitably stall and anger other drivers---something everybody does when learning to drive a manual. A few weeks after my lesson, I ended up going on a fun drive through the European countryside to a destination not easily reachable by public transit. The guy at the rental counter, seeing I was American, tried to give me an automatic and I had to correct him. I did stall a few times, including while inching forward in highway traffic, and was able to stay cool and collected. As promised, I got from Point A to Point B! Someday, I want my next car to be something sporty with a stick shift. I am most impressed by the psychological skills Bill taught me in this context. These aren't skills I would have learned from simply asking a friend or parent to teach me. If I had teens, I would absolutely want Bill to teach them the driving skills that *will* save their life--a purpose he is passionate about from his previous job as a cop. Thanks Bill for teaching me a skill I will enjoy for years to come!

I explained that their email was misleading, it didn't say anything about needing to order it. The only option was for me to pay them $40 to express mail it. Wasn't happy with this as I felt I got swindled, but I paid it. 2. My son didn't pass his first permit test so I had to cancel the behind the wheel that I had previously booked. I canceled right away in the DMV parking lot with 24 hour notice. They tried to charge me $189 for the cancellation! The reason I booked the lesson before him passing the test was because their availability is very poor. I didn't want my son to wait several weeks to get behind the wheel once he passed the test and the day after his test was their only availability for weeks, so I had to take it. I'm cancelling the 6 hour driving lessons and going with a local company down the street that has better availability and better customer service. I'm not giving this company any more of my money. I will update this review once the refund is processed.

His first lesson was with Natalie. She was great. He was very nervous and she helped ease his nerves. After the lesson, she had wrote down the areas he needed to focus on. She went over it with both my son and me. He also got a checklist to prepare for the driving test. His next two lessons were with Steve, who was very professional and got him on the freeway and helped him with preparing for the exam including backing up. A few months later, we got two more lessons (4 hours). Erin again was a great help in helping schedule. He had another lesson with Steve. He also had another instructor Katie, also professional and helped him with parking and other areas he requested more practice with. My son passed his driving exam today on the first try. The foundations provided to him definitely helped. I've recommended A-Z to other parents looking for lessons.

I ended up getting close to 7 inches cut off. My visit here lasted about 2 hours from start to finish. At some point during my haircut I noticed that one side was shorter than the other side when I mentioned this to the instructor (a woman with red hair & bangs) she told me there's not really much they can do about that; she then said something about extensions. I said no, we're not doing that. I DID NOT walk in here to get a haircut, an UNEVEN haircut, to later be told there's not much they can do other than extensions. I was definitely NOT going to ask to go shorter! Do I regret the length? No. Do I regret coming here? YES! The student who cut my hair was nice & she said she didn't want me to be unhappy with my hair. I kept thinking one side was shorter than the other even after she blow dried my hair. I thought maybe my hair was doing this weird thing it does when I get a short haircut; it goes off to one side & it looks shorter but after I straightened my hair at home it's very obvious that it's uneven. Both the student & instructor cut my hair. I do not recommend coming here for a haircut. PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY FOR A DIFFERENT PLACE. The price you pay & the time you spend here is not worth dealing with when you're walking out of here with a bad haircut. I gave this place a chance, I was really hoping to have a good experience seeing as how the instructors are there to help & guide the students BUT unfortunately I am very dissatisfied with my haircut. I will now have to grow out my hair for a few months & pay someone else to fix my hair. My daughter also got a haircut from this place. She asked for some layers & a trim. Hers lasted about 2 hours & 20 minutes. I don't think she got what she asked for either. It felt like they tried talking her into getting something else. My son got a haircut from here the same day as my daughter. He had a good experience & he was happy with his haircut. I'm happy that he had a good experience. Overall, it's safe to say that I will NOT be going back. I highly discourage anyone from coming here for any haircuts. I tried contacting them twice & I have not gotten a call back.

During my time there all students were receiving different kits when we were all paying the "same amount "the newer students coming in were getting updated kits with multiple items that me and others never got when I asked the instructor about it I was simply told it was discontinued. Later on I come to find out that students are all being charged different amounts on their tuition fees. The newer girls coming in were being charged less and getting better kits than the girls that were there before me and started with me. I found this truly unfair since everyone was paying the "same amount" Please for any on coming new students do your research. The instructor was very unprofessional at times yelling at students loud enough to hear her from a whole other room over something that could have been handled more professionally. I also didn't like how students were being told to NOT speak Spanish while we were there when nothing disrespectful or inappropriate was being said. The instructor simply didn't like us speaking in Spanish which is dumb because most of the students who attended there were predominantly Hispanic. Lastly I thought it was strange how students CANT claim for taxes at the end of the year my tax person mentioned they HAVE TO provide a Tax ID number to be able to do so, but the instructor stated she "can't provide" that info to students. We ended up filing a complaint . Over all I wish I would have known about all the law suits and shady stuff that is going on here before making my decision and attending CCA.
