Had a less than ideal experience with the site manager Kayla. I bought a flight lesson for my husband as an anniversary gift since he expressed interest in getting a license. He missed the lesson due to reasons beyond our control. We had to go out of town and we completely forgot to call and reschedule which is very atypical of us. We did not have access to phone or email the day prior as we were travelling. Kayla said she called but didn't leave a voicemail. Not sure why a business would call and not leave a message if it's important. Anyways, we still agree that it's our fault and we said so when Kayla called us 5 minutes after our appointment time. We requested Kayla to see if she could look into making an exception. 10 minutes later she emails saying per their policy, no exceptions are allowed. We requested to speak with one of the owners. I have emailed her a few times now, and left a message with the person who answered the phone. No response. Radio silence. It's been weeks. I did not expect this kind of customer service from a small business. Customer service is one of the few places to stand out and the poor rating is primarily because of radio silence and complete unwillingness to even talk. I was kicked out of the school because of this.... can someone explain why? After a CFI told me I wasn't going to be charged? Am I in the wrong? I'll wait.... LOL Do not TRUST what Sara or Jen says, they will RIP you off. Do you need a better example? lol My primary instructor, was out of town for a week so I scheduled a couple sessions with Sara to consistently fly in preparation for my upcoming Stage 1 Check. When I found out THE PRIMARY was back early, I reached out to Sara to switch schedules as I'm most comfortable with PRIMARY and my learning style has been very compatible with his approach. I reached out to Sara to see if she was okay with me switching back to PRIMARY, and avoiding any cancellation fees as I'd still be flying with my primary instructor (see attached). I clarified via text that if the cancellation charge was to remain, I would keep the existing flight time with Sara (to avoid fees). She confirmed there would be no charges (see attached)! Not only did I get charged for her time, they charged me for the plane rental as well as for the FUCKING HEADSET $247!!!! Completely understand that their time is valuable, but it's frustrating to see a charge continue once confirmed that it wouldn't be a charge. I only have great things to say about my experience at Aerodynamic Aviation: To start, the front office (Matt, Edgar, Rebecca) are super friendly and knowledgeable -- not to mention pilots themselves who are passionate about flying. The owners Josh / Jen are very approachable, they definitely make you feel like you're part of the family. The CFIs are dedicated to the student's success, and take pride in making themselves available to meet your personal goals. As a student pilot, I knew their goal wasn't simply to get me to pass my checkride and take my money, but to make me a great pilot. The A&P mechanics are super friendly as well! Multiple times I popped in the hanger while a cowling was off to ask questions about key systems. Any maintenance issue I ever experienced (minor usually -- e.g., flat or balding tire) were promptly resolved with a high degree of emphasis on pilot safety and appreciation for alerting the crew to the issue. The flight school and course curriculum averages 60-80hrs (not including lots homework) -- I started 10/15/20 and had my license on 3/16/21. Brian Engh was my primary instructor. Hands-down Aerodynamic aviation is a great school to get your pilot license, rent a plane, or have a bay tour. Great owners, front desk staff, awesome instructors, and maintenance folks. The school is a great fit for future Commercial Pilots who need 250 hours and don't want to pay through the nose for it. A global rule for receiving your pilot license: be prepared for these four items - correct estimations, money, time, and commitment. As for estimations, for the Private Pilot license, expect 90 plus hours here, any timeless is for those exceptional few. If 45-60 hours are within your time frame, I would go for the Sport license. I'm writing this review not because of the customer service or other staff but the instructor that got me sick. I had an appointment for my first ever flight lesson on Friday and I got paired up with Tyler. Everything was okay up till the moment we go in the airplane and took off, he was coughing a lot which got me worried. I was thinking is he sick or something? For the next hour, I was in a small cockpit with a guy that was coughing every 5 mins. I tried not to think about it too much since I wanted to enjoy my 1st flight. Fast forward 2 days later, I now have a sore throat, headaches, and body aches. I am definitely getting sick and I know for a fact it was from sitting in an airplane with a sick person. My complaint is for the guy that knew he was sick and still went to work and infected a bunch of other people. He should have been more considerate and stayed home to protect everyone else. Who knows how many other people got infected that day? I hope to god it's not Covid, don't want to infect my family or friends. After the flight, I was really considering taking more lesson with Aerodynamic but now that I'm sick, definitely not anymore! I suggest the owners take a more involved approach to the safety of their customers, make staff report if they are sick or possibly sick to avoid such issue. read more

I got my PPL with Aerodynamic starting with the intro flight all the way through the checkride. Overall, I've been very pleased with the school and particularly my CFI, Mitchell. They have a very good syllabus and provide as much guidance and teaching as someone needs without being overbearing. Don't expect to be coddled have everything spoon fed to you here. The whole process only really works if you come prepared, do self study, and are genuinely self motivated. This provided the flexibility for me to fly and study as much or as little as my full time job would allow. The stage checks are also very valuable in preparing you for the actual checkride. Yes, the planes are old and you have to fuel the plane yourself, this is probably why this place is quite a bit cheaper than some others. However, this actually teaches you way more about systems and makes you far more comfortable if/when something goes wrong. read more

Passed my private pilot checkride recently after training at Aerodynamic. I've had a great experience overall. The front desk staff are welcoming and the maintenance guys in the back are friendly too. It's always a fun time flying with my instructor, and I've also flown with several other instructors; a few for my initial discovery flights and a few more for my stage checks. They've been awesome and each have a little something different to teach and share, expanding your perspectives. The planes here are used mainly for student training, so it's understandable that they're not the newest, most high-end planes. They couldn't be priced so economically if they were. Even though they're a Part 61 flight school, AeroDynamic uses a structured syllabus that makes it easier to know what you need to do and study throughout your training. They also do a series of stage checks from different instructors who give you additional input to help you get past anything you might be stuck on. So, I think you'll either love this place or flee from here, depending on your expectations. You can learn to fly here, and you can probably do make it happen for less $$ than at other schools. The CFIs I've met are cool, no-bullshit, they don't charge an arm and a leg either. Note: many CFIs here are part-time, and do the job for the fun of it, while earling a living as Software Engineers (it's in San Jose, after all! :-D) So they won't do what's not enjoyable. And they likely won't make you do it either, like picking your brain over some beurocracy or drill you on "learning a (trivial !) skill to perfection". Instead, they might tell you useful things, which a more formal CFI will not talk to you about ;-) Whether you like it or not - you'll also get to refuel your the aircraft out of an ancient fuel truck (-: You'll also get really diligent at your preflights because chances are you will find things wrong with it and then it's a grey area whether you'll want to go ahead and fly or have the aircraft grounded and "looked at", by a mechanic. Some day :-D For instance, the aircraft I signed up to learn in was once grounded for a full month :-D and then within 2 months - twice more for a few days. And we had a coolant blowout in flight once, which was exciting and a got a express-check for the "emergencies" lesson into my logbook, for free (-: The rates are already the lowest in town, and if you get a mechanical failure in flight - the school doesn't charge you for that flight. Like I said - love it or hate it, folks... Oh and there's a coffee machine in the lobby. But it's not free! It's .50 per cup :-) P.S. I hope you've cleaned the air filter on the 712MF. I bought 2 Groupons for my husband and I to do a Bay area fly tour. We used the Groupon together which gave us about 3 hours flying time. AeroDynamic Aviation was very nice and open to our idea on where we want to go so we fly to Monterey, Santa Cruz, stop at Half Moon Bay for Happy Hour and then fly to SF for sunset and the back to San Jose. Very cool!! Our pilot is Daniel Most, a 26 years old young man who has been flying for 8 years and got many different type of flying license. He really LOVE to fly and we enjoy his company during the tour. From what he told us is that people who work there really LOVE what they do which is flying but you will be amazed how little they get paid. I passed my checkride in first attempt at another school. At AeroDynamic People are good. Most instructors are poorly paid and work only to get their next rating. The owners are never around and whole place is totally unclean and maintenance is neglected. The aircrafts are very unsafe. Some doors open in middle of flight, flaps have no indicator, planes are never sanitized, fuel refueling trucks are the worst. They have 18 or so instructors each with 10 plus students on roaster. Out of 200 or so students only 5 or so new students passed PPL Checkride. The other people who pass check ride are mainly instructors going for next rating. So it's 97.5% chance you will be stuck doing landings or changing instructors. Instructors confuse the hell out of you making you very bad pilot. When confronted they all mentioned it's owners who insist on flying unsafe planes with unsafe practices. Being in airline senior management, I chose to pursue pilot license during CoVID but this school was bad choice. I got my pilot license as soon as I moved out of this nightmare school. read more

Aerodynamic Aviation is a great flight school that I would definitely recommend for anybody who wants to learn to fly. Without a doubt, their rates are among the most competitive in the Bay Area. While the airplanes are a bit on the older side, they are well-maintained. It is my belief that older airplanes with the legacy "six-pack" instruments are more conducive for developing crucial flying skills that are harder to gain through newer airplanes with potentially distracting avionics systems such as the G1000. I was able to get my Private Pilot License over the summer with flight instructor Mitchell. I would absolutely recommend Mitchell if you want a friendly, relaxed, and fun flight training experience. He will always go the extra mile to see his students succeed and he manages to deliver a very enjoyable experience for his students while maintaining a high level of professionalism. I've always fantasized about one day landing an aircraft in a meadow near mountain peaks and scaling those peaks by foot with nobody around for miles. Aerodynamic made that fantasy a reality for me. I was already a private pilot before I really got involved with them. It began when I bought my aircraft. They gave me advice on making a purchase and gave me the specific training I required for that aircraft in order to fly it safely. After loads of practice, I made my fantasy a reality. Later I decided to shift careers into aviation and worked with aerodynamic on my instrument, commercial, and ultimately my flight instructor rating. The thing I like most about aerodynamic is they met me based on what I was willing to put in. Since I was willing to study at home and practice on my own, they were able to verify my skills and knowledge prior to sending me off for my practical exams. If however I wanted specific training on particular maneuvers or knowledge, they would happily work with me on that. I felt ready for each exam I took and they made sure I was ready prior to sending me off. I feel like whether I needed minor attention or lots of help, they were able to meet me at that level. read more

Quick Update: A brief phone call with Matt immediately allayed a lot of concerns I had. He's going to get me in with a more experienced CFI and we are logging maintenance concerns on the plane I flew so they can be fixed. I'm going to give it another go here. One good thing I will say here is you would be hard-pressed to find a lower hourly rate anywhere in the area. So I'll update this after I fly with another instructor here and in a couple of different planes. -------------- The staff is extremely nice, but my experiences with both equipment and instructors there have been slightly lacking. First, aircraft quality: Several of the gauge panel lights on the planes I have flown with them have been burned out, requiring us to use a flashlight while flying to look at things like oil pressure, etc. In addition during a walk around, the navigation lights were out on one side and needed to be smacked to get it to light up. Aircraft are aging and while I'm sure are structurally and mechanically sound, AA does not seem the best in terms of spending money on maintenance and improvements. In addition, each time I have gone out the planes have been bingo fuel which means eating into 30 minutes of flight time (that you are paying for) to drag and gas up their planes while trying to learn. Instructor: I love my CFI's personality, but he's a young guy and obviously pretty green. He would rarely let go of the controls for more than 3 seconds at a time (even during straight and level flight) out of his own nervousness which means I have no chance to actually learn the feel of the controls. Instead of asking me to turn to a heading, climb, etc or give any specific instructions, he would typically do most actions himself. I don't think this is due to my flying either. I am perfectly capable of keeping the straight and plane level or executing a turn. Regardless he continually would grab controls without saying a word when nothing was wrong. When performing certain actions when I actually have controls, instead of getting any feedback he would just grab controls and continue the maneuver. I have also tried multiple times to give rudder input and found him stomping hard on both pedals so they cannot move, so I gave up and just put my feet under my seat. The kicker for me though was when calling ATC to land, we started heading towards an airport and he pointed out, "See that airport right there? That's us.". In my head, I'm thinking, hmmm...that looks like KSJC but it's dark and I'm not 100% familiar with the airspace. We start towards final when ATC comes on the radio and says, "Do you have the airport in sight? ...Because you're flying towards SJC.". Thankfully ATC was watching out for us as that could have been very very bad. But it further cemented to me that in order to get the most bang for my buck I should go somewhere with more experienced CFIs as I think it would take me 100 hours of flying here to get 5 hours of usable experience. It was an honest mistake and fortunately, as it was caught early enough by tower, ended up not being a big deal. In hindsight, either of us should have glanced at the GPS and looked for KRHV. It was night flying at that point and we were pushing his comfort zone. I have no doubt about his ability to pilot and land and never felt uncomfortable in that regard. He made the responsible choice with deciding to head back to the airport as clouds were rolling in. I just think I'd do better with someone with a few hundred more hours of instructing. I'm going to check out the place across the street as they have a handful of newer 172 G1000 planes and other 172's with fully working analog panels. I might come back here at some point as again the staff and instructors are incredibly nice. But I don't have $20 thousand dollars to spend learning to fly at a new instructor's pace who is still learning himself and I really would feel more comfortable in a newer plane that had all of its' electronics and avionics working. read more

I began my flight training at Aerodynamic Aviation and now I'm finishing up my flight instructor's license! From the moment I took that first flight I felt welcomed and cared for. It's amazing how all the instructors and staff really care about your success and safety. They have been constantly improving and upgrading the fleet as well as the facilities. It's the perfect mix of fun too! The staff plan barbecues once a month, ground school and other seminars, as well as flying trips (and sometimes camping) to fun destinations. I've done some flying at other clubs and this one is honestly the best. Aside from the fact that they're one of the only clubs to offer an extensive fleet of tailwheels, I feel safe in the planes, it's organized, and not to mention has some of the best prices around! I got my private license there. That's right, they are horribly milking students just like what other reviewers said. What can be worse? They let renters to refill engine coolant for some aircraft and the coolant could have fuel in it ! That means the fuel in the coolant could find its way out in the system and cause in-flight engine fire ! How could fuel get into a capped coolant bottle? It's a million dollar question. This one point could tell you how lousy their maintenance is and how risky it is to fly their planes. I complained about that to the owners but instead of being apologetic they were trying to find excuses to blame me about how I flew their other planes. Eventually, things turned pretty sour and I left. Updates: I usually don't comment any response to my reviews but I feel the need for this time. The owner's response is a big lie. Notice they even didn't mention a word about the coolant that had fuel but all about my "problems". They couldn't state exactly what Federal Aviation Regulations I was continuously breaking. I reserve all the rights for any legal recourse on that particular comment. The reason I was switching instructors was because I felt they didn't provide the quality I wanted while trying to milk me. There are only a couple of good instructors, Eric is one of them. Unfortunately he was busy for my complex endorsement so I had to switch to a different instructor. I didn't feel right about the other one way before we could talk about signing me off for an endorsement. Ok, bad weather. How bad? The owners didn't mention exactly what kind it was. Low visibility? Nope. Low ceilings? Nope. Thunderstorms? Nope. It was a fine VFR day with 15-17kt of head wind. One of the owners called me on ATC to get back just for that reason. If I don't have reasonable decision making skills, I would have just put the coolant that had fuel in the plane that I was about to fly. Guess what, if I got into an engine fire during the flight. Who would they blame? Me. Guess who told me "The coolant smells fine to me, just use it"? The instructor I fired for my complex endorsement. I wanted to buy my bf an intro flight lesson gift certificate as a surprise birthday present since he's always said he wanted to fly a plane. But I was worried because he's also been known to get extremely sea sick (even just standing on a pier O_o LOL). I emailed Aerodynamic Aviation around 5pm right before I left work. By about midnight the same day, the owner himself responded to me with tips and advice. That kind of customer service and quick turnaround really impressed me. **If anyone wants to know, my bf was fine :) He didn't even feel any sort of motion sickness during the flight. And Zdravko did tell me in the email that being in the "driver seat" would help with the motion sickness concerns. I was in the back seat though and off the center of gravity. Passengers, don't go on a full stomach! LOL*** We were scheduled to fly with Rene. He's awesome! Rene completely put us both at ease, and he spent so much time talking to us before, during, and after the flight. You can really sense his passion for flying. He let my bf experience how to taxi to the runway, take off, make left and right turns in the air, and land. The overall experience was great! I never felt like Rene was rushing us to try and finish the lesson quickly. He also spent some time afterwards explaining how we could get our private pilot's license, but at the same time he advised us to both think it over for awhile and absorb our experience before we make any decisions to proceed with the private pilot training. I really appreciated his honesty and never felt like anyone tried to upsell us there. We both enjoyed our flight with Rene and wanted to tip him, per advise from the website's FAQ ("Tipping not required for CFI's, but appreciated"). We were both surprised that Rene didn't accept the tip and instead just shook our hands and said he hoped we both had a great time. What a guy! Forget those Groupons and LivingSocial deals for intro flight lessons elsewhere. Their "discounted" voucher prices are usually on par or more expensive than Aerodynamic Aviation's everyday prices. Bought a Groupon for an introductory flight lesson for my friends birthday. The whole process of reserving the lesson was very seamless and easy. I was a little worried about any hidden costs once I got there, but they were upfront and told me that all I had to pay was my additional passenger fee. We got there early and waited in the room for our instructor to get back. While we were waiting, we just took a look at some of the planes that were parked outside. Everything about this experience was great, they were attentive and really tried to be helpful. The plane itself was pretty old though. My biggest complaint though was that it was advertised as a 2 hour lesson with 1 hour ground training and 1 hour flight. The 1 hour ground training was really us just watching our instructor check the plane -- not too much training and it only took about 20 minutes. The flight itself was good and he let my friend control the plane the majority of the time, but i think we were only in the air for about 40 minutes. I dont want to count every minute, but I paid for the full 2 hours and I wish they wouldve respected that. Otherwise, it was still a great experience. Warning: if you get motion sickness easily, be prepared. The minute the plane lifted off i started feeling nauseous. Unfortunately, I was nauseous the entire flight :( read more

Our instructor was David, he is very nice and explained every single detail to us, my husband was very happy. I purchased a yelp deal as a birthday gift for a friend. We had an awesome experience. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We started with doing a complete inspection of the plane and our instructor gave us ground instructions for about 30 - 45 minutes and then we started with the flight. We decided to go south towards Big Sur(they can tailor the route for you if you ask them to.) The views were amazing and we even got to see a whale! My friend had a lot of fun flying the Cessna 172. I went to ground school here briefly and was considering going for flight instruction but it ended abruptly . My ground school instructor who worked there suggested at the time ,that we purchase some informational flight books that are displayed in the reception area counter display. One day, I did that , I stopped by just to do this but was rudely denied purchasing any items by one of the owners Josh Watson . He said that he only sells them to the students of aerodynamic. I expressed to him that I was a ground school student there and I was told by my ground instructor to buy this particular book there but he still refused selling me any of the books . He insisted that the item is not for sale unless you are an aerodynamic flight student . But I said I was a ground school student there and that I was encouraged by the ground instructor to buy the book there but he still belligerently unprofessionally berated me and refused to sell any item. I was so shocked and taken aback by the kind of behavior that this man was displaying . He was disturbingly very combative.He continued on and said he owned the place and what he says goes . I asked rhetorically what kind of business practice is this ?! It's not like it's a secret recipe how to fly , for crying out loud these procedures are all over the internet .. Ridiculous! Bad bad business practice ! If I was not told in the first place that I could buy books there then I wouldn't have even known that those books existed . They have sinced lost all my business and I make sure I don't forget to mention this story to anyone who mentions of thinking of going to fly with this company . I had a 1 hour flight lesson here. It was a LOT of fun. The instructor, Gráinne, was informative, helpful and interesting. If you've ever thought about checking to see if a flying a plane is for you, then this is your place. Also, of note, I got this as a birthday present. For folks a little too scared of controlling the aircraft, you can opt for a scenic tour instead. (I recommend the lesson though... it's loads of fun to do a controlled stall and recovery.) read more

Got a birthday present from my girlfriend.. It was my first flying lesson.. These guys are very professional.. We were assigned Andrew as our instructor.. The groupon deal of 150$ covers for one person and to add another as a passenger, you need to pay 60$ more.. Its well worth the money for flight lovers.. Andrew is very smooth with controls and kept answering very question we asked.. We were taken over the local areas of San Jose viz. anderson lake, coyote creek, calavares reservoir, lick observatory (different experience to see lick observatory from above) a fun experience, might go ahead and check out further lessons.. Absolutely horrid! I had been dreaming of taking a flight lesson for years. This year for my birthday, my boyfriend surprised me with an hour long lesson with my two kids. After having to reschedule due to rain a few times, we finally scheduled it for yesterday at 2:00. They asked us to arrive 5-10 minutes early. We arrived by 1:50 super excited, only to find out the instructor, Grant, hadn't arrived yet. He arrived at 2:05. Without introducing himself, saying hello or making us feel comfortable, he handed me the booklet and took us to the plane. After asking our weights (which we had given to them over the phone), he tells us he can only take two of us and not all three. My boyfriend had paid extra for the kids. Once we objected that we had paid extra for all three , he told us to go in and find another plane that would carry us. By now it's 2:45, 45 minutes past our initial flight time. We refused and told him he works there and should go fetch a new plane and not us. He went inside, took his sweet time and came back with a different plane. To make a long story short, we were finally ready to board the plane at 3:20. We took off at 3:30 and he said that we had to be back by 4:00 because he had another student. So, we paid for an hour long flight only to get 30 minutes worth! Before taking off, he went over buttons and switches. We had on earpieces on but I couldn't hear anything he was saying. I kept signaling to him that I couldn't hear but he ignored me. We took off, he wouldn't let me steer or explain anything to me. I tried asking him questions while we were up and he claimed he couldn't hear me. He made my first (and probably the last) flight experience a very bad one. He totally ruined my birthday present and my day. I am not going to take it out on the flight school but they should really do a better job and train their staff to be more cordial to their clients. They need to make them understand that these clients are there for the experience and they should make it special and not miserable. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. read more

The place is like a big family, one of the few places that offers sport pilot ratings, you can even get a weight shift licence. Lots of vintage aircrafts, but meticulously maintained. Costs are similar to other flight schools around the bay area. read more

Loops, Rolls, Spins!! great place if you want to try out aerobatics. I went up with Jim grant for some acro work. I had a great time, I just wish I had a stronger stomach! Rates are fair and reasonable, planes are in working order and do what they are supposed to. also the only place you can get a chance to fly aerobatics in the south bay. read more

I did a majority of my flight training here at AeroDynamic Aviation and if I could give the school ZERO stars I would. There are SO many reasons why one should NOT go to this school. One of the many reasons is that the airplanes are a complete piece of crap. The maintenance at this school is done so poorly. For example, portions of the maintenance logs are always missing. And AD's are rarely ever noted in any of the annuals or 100 hrs that the school does which clearly meant that they never got a chance to do it. I would highly suggest anyone to spend the extra money on an airplane at a different flight school that actually cares for the maintenance of their airplanes and has all working avionics. Secondarily, the instructors here are great people. However, a majority of them are just beginners. Meaning, they're also trying to learn the airplane with you as you're trying to learn. For the rate you're paying for an instructor, one should already be familiar with the airplane. For the amount your paying at this school, the quality of training isn't quite there because a majority of their instructors are beginners. Third, the instructors here will fly with you all you want but the whole reason of going to a flight school is to get your ratings and get out of there. The school has no desire to finish you up with your training because they want your money. I've met several people at this school with over 100+ hours without a private pilot license. Ridiculous. With over 100+ hours, one should already have their rating. I have a couple of buddies going to the other schools around the field with 60-70 hours with their private pilots license. Although, this school is Part 61. The school has no structure what so ever. You can do the same maneuver for 20 hours of your training for all they care as long as they're getting your money. Lastly, the school took no extra precautions during coronavirus. They were one of the only schools in the field open during coronavirus. Regardless, if there was a statement saying flight schools are essential. Why would a flight school remain open when every other flight school at the field is closed and there's a whole shelter in place order in San Jose, CA. It just shows how money hungry the owners of these schools are. There's literally no demand for flight training and no one is even hiring. Why would you keep your school open?? It just shows how much they don't care for their employees either. In conclusion, don't even bother going to this school. Check out other schools around the area and spend that extra couple bucks. It will be definitely be worth it at the end of your training! read more

My favorite flying club yet! I've been flying here for almost a year. I trained VFR elsewhere, but did Acrobatic training and am working on my IFR here. Good planes, great instructors, amazing legacy with it having belonged to Amelia Reid in the past (it was known as Amelia Reid Aviation). Their rates have always been very reasonable and they continue to have a good culture about flying - safety first, and learning while having fun. Aerodynamic is an amazing flight school. I learned on a Citabria 7ECA with Jen as my instructor. I also flew with Jason and Jim. Everyone is extremely nice and the place has a great learning environment, truly the best flight school. The airplanes are well maintained and mechanics are always around to help if anything is wrong. I was able to solo with about 15 hours in my logbook and take my checkride with 70 hours. I plan to continue my aviation learning here as a college student and fly many more hours :) read more

Fantastic experience! I never drove planes before and was kinda scared of my first time. But the staff there gave me a lot of confidence, and they were really flexible of the route. I got to choose a route by myself :) In the air, the instructor behind me gave me a lot of flexibility to play around with the plane: up and down, rotating, etc..When i told them i wanted to take some pictures, they helped me with the plane so i had both hands for pictures and videos. We took a bay tour and picked the time at 6pm. Since it was close to sunset, the beauty of the tour was a lot more. Our pilot , Logan was extremely friendly and since it was a flying experience for my husband, he was very kind in instructing him on how to fly. My husband may have asked several questions to which he patiently responded. The tour was so elaborate and we flew almost around the entire Bay covering all the popular spots right from the Half Moon Bay, Bay bridge, Golden gate bridge , Alcatraz island, and picturesque views of the valley. My husband was very happy that he actually was able to fly over a lot of these spots and specially over the Golden gate. Logan truly made our experience so memorable. read more
