I really enjoy their wings too, their mild sauce has a decent kick to it, so beware, and I say that as someone who enjoys spicy. I say this more so to warn you may not want to go for a hot, since they don't have a medium. I really wish they had some more beers on tap, as in like more than 1. If they could put some beers on tap, this would always be a first choice. The location is also kind of small, so it makes it a tad more intimate than you want for a bar setting, sports bar type setting.

When I asked for a refund, I was told that the manager does not handle refunds and that I should speak with the day shift manager instead. I watched numerous DoorDash and Uber Eats deliveries go out, but my order never arrived. Additionally, none of the workers wore gloves, and the manager's attitude was unpleasant. After I inquired about my order, a heavy-set woman brushed me off, fanning her hand dismissively and walking away while saying they were short-staffed. No one would give me their names. Another customer advised me not to leave until I spoke with someone, as the behavior demonstrated was unacceptable. The night manager, a Black woman with short hair, was rude and seemed to need more training in dealing with the public. I have decided not to patronize this establishment again. If I could give this store a zero rating, I would. I plan to return in the morning to request my refund. After I asked for a refund, she gave my order to another customer for free. I have never been treated this way before and will not accept disrespect from someone who should act professionally.

The other three were processed chicken pieces parts patties they had some sauce on them. I could have gotten the same thing at Kroger in the frozen food section. Honestly it was kind of disappointing. As for the sauces, the cajun sauce was like just a basic bitch Louisiana hot sauce but with less kick. Mango habanero had sone heat but not really much sweet. Kid who had the Korean q said it was good but I didn't try it. Three of us had Louisiana voodoo fries and 1 had a plain fries. The voodoo weren't bad but if I'm gonna get "crazy" fries I'd just as soon get them from Fowl n Out or get the junkyard fries from Hattie Bs. So, in summation, if i return here for a chicken sammich I'd just get it plain and toss it with one of the many many many store bought and home made (yeah I said home made I have an entire mini fridge dedicated to them ) hot and/or bbq sauces we have at home.

I started out with the soup of the day. It was a white bean with chicken and chili. I know that don't sound great....lol...But let me tell you that was a very good soup. It had a very unique flavor. My wife got her usual steak on a stick. She said it was very tender and flavorful. She also got a order of The Onion rings. If you like the big onion rings, you can't go wrong. I got the Reuben sandwich and onion straws. It was hands down one of the best Reuben's I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend Southaven Huey's. if you want a good meal for a good price you can't go wrong here. Oh, and be sure to try the soup of the day you won't be disappointed. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me!" I won't be "fooled" a 3rd time…read more I'll start this review off by saying maybe my vast restaurant experiences are to blame OR maybe this place is just as bad as I think it is. Let's jump right in. Food: Ordered samplers (sliders, boneless, mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, etc), wings, burger, fries, & adult beverages so variety wasn't an issue. The food took around 30-35 minutes to START coming out in a restaurant that was maybe at 40% capacity. I say start because they didn't bring everything out together, it came a few plates at a time...spread out. My question is why am I waiting 35 minutes for some BARELY WARM food? One thing I know for a FACT is that none of this stuff is being "made from scratch" so what's so hard about opening a bag and cooking fresh, hot, made to order food food your customers? My wings were so bad that I asked for them to be redone but they just warmed up the same ones I already had and brought them back. Sliders were, and I truly mean this, SLIGHTLY warm. The only thing that hit the table hot was my burger. 45 minutes to get all of the food just for everything to be blah! Ambiance: the restaurant floor was dirty with paper towels and trash everywhere. There was a football game on the main screen with all TVs showing different things and a decent level audio so that was good. Overall, 2 out of 5 for the ambience. The server was pretty attentive and got us taken care of. Final take: I would never go back here (to this location or maybe BWW in general) to spend $150 before tips for this HORRIBLE experience in food or service. This is a sports gathering place or for ppl who would eat a tire if you threw some sauce on it. No person who actually enjoys eating good food should expect that here. This is the second experience of the exact same thing at this location. The only difference is the first time they recooked the wings and made them better. Hope this helps.

I had the three piece dark chicken with the sweet potatoes casserole and mash potatoes with gravy. The mashed potatoes had quite a few lumps and everything kind of gave a powdery taste (gravy, casserole, and mashed potatoes). When I say powdery... I'm saying that it just wasn't giving "homemade". It's not intolerable but it's not what you look for when you go to a soulfood restaurant. I also wasn't a fan of the wait. We have some made to order items so it was understood about the 20 minute wait, but we didn't get our food until almost an hour after paying. The extra time waiting seemed to be due to fried green tomatoes not being made in tandem with the fried chicken. As a result, everything was luke warm by the time we got the food. It's truly sad because the flavor is definitely there. The texture, the powdery residual taste and the wait time leaves me at this place being a one time experience at the least and a, "if I had to" at the most.

The catfish is made to order, was perfectly crispy and well seasoned. Definitely top 3 catfish meals for me in the area. The mac and cheese was some of the best I have had. It was creamy and savory, it wasn't too fatty and had a firm texture. It was definitely the highlight of the meal. The green beans had a bit of a mushy texture but I really enjoyed regular green beans. The meal comes with a side or cornbread which was filling , fluffy and sweet. Fantastic soul food for me. The banana pudding was also delicious. You can also actually taste banana not just sugar. The people working there were honestly so kind and chill. They knew what to recommend and added to the dining experience. My only criticisms come with how some of the food is prepared for example the green been texture being on the mushy side is likely due to it being presented similarly to a buffet. I was also unable to have a whisky due to the bar being closed however it was 2pm on a weekday. Overall great experience

I have never received wings without carrots or celery. Most of the time its a combination of the two. The chicken is also very different from the style of the other two. When we walked in we were greeted by the staff. The inside was very clean and nice. We grabbed a menu and sat down to look it over. You actually order from the counter and wall menu, but we wanted to look everything over (Not Rushed) They have alot of great options on the menu. This includes dry rubs and dipping sauces. Many different options for the chicken and the french fries. I like very hot/spicy food and my wife is more into sweet/salty. There were great options for both of us. I got the "Nashville Hot" wings and drumsticks. My fries were plain with no adds (Chili, Cheese, Garlic) You can choose dry rub and dipping sauce or toss the chicken and dip it in a choice sauce. My wife got the chicken wings (Not Tossed) and the Teriyaki dipping sauce. She got her fries covered in cheese. The chicken itself was cooked very crisp and tasted great. I was not impressed by the heat of the "Nashville Hot" It was barely mild to me. I love really hot food though. The owner gave me his hottest sauce (Damn Hot) to try dipping. That was on point! next time I will get mine tossed in that. My wife said she really enjoyed hers with the Teriyaki dipping sauce. We both loved the fries. They are the coated style fries cooked very crisps. We both enjoyed the food and will be back to try some of the other options. Final: The overall experience was great and I recommend giving them a try if you like this style food! If I had to pick some improvements. One would be to move the drink machine. Its way to close to the people ordering. I was trying to fix my drink with someones butt next to me ....lol.... The other thing would be to give dipping sauce cups based on amount of food. My wife had three wings and I had eight. We both received one small cup. They were nice enough to give me the hotter sauce but I think that many should get at least two of the ranch.
