It has been a very long time since I visited this location. Milkshakes were not on the menu, but this particular time they were. I ordered a little cheeseburger, little fry, and an Oreo milkshake. Everything tasted great and my order was made without having to wait a long time. My favorites are the cajun fries and the peanuts! I should really just order fries, milkshake and peanuts. They were friendly and treated every customer and "Door Dasher" nicely. To start off, the staff is very unfriendly, like it pains them to have to talk to you. Then, I ordered the smallest burger they have ($7.55) "to-go" and asked for mustard, pickle, onion, and lettuce - NO mayo and NO ketchup. On the road, I was so hungry and had to keep driving. When I bit into the $8.29 kid's burger, it was loaded with mayo and ketchup, which I find completely gross. I was too far away to take it back, but good grief! Five Guys is known for their Burgers and Fries, but the also do an outstanding Hot Dog! Their hot dogs are available in three versions: plain, cheese, bacon, or cheese & bacon; plus basic condiments. Today, I enjoyed two plain hot dogs with mayo and relish; plus a small order of Cajun fries. DELICIOUS!!! Kudos to Kitchen/Service Team for fast and friendly service. I ordered catering for our office of 20 burgers with all the toppings on the side, along with 4 large orders of fries. They did wonderful with this. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up they were finishing up all my burgers and dropped my orders of fries, so I would have good hot ones. They had all the toppings ready and boxed up nicely, with all the hot boxed up together in one box and cold in another, and also had me a bag with plates and utensils, and a bunch of napkins. From the time I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. They also helped me out to my car with all the boxes and bags. Everyone at the office is raving over how good everything is. Should have reviewed them sooner. We lived in Bartlett for two years, and this was our "after church" lunch spot. The food was always prepared just the way we ordered it, and the fries are perfectly cooked. I noticed that there was always someone cleaning the tables ( and this was PRE-coronavirus). The employees were very friendly and courteous, and it was a pleasure eating there. While living in Tennessee, we visited locations in Nashville, Jackson, and Shelby County. In my opinion, the Bartlett Five Guys on Stage Road is the VERY BEST location in Tennessee. It is also one of the best food places overall in Bartlett. read more

It's Friday at 4:55 pm. Go in to place an order and the staff say "we aren't taking anymore order today" I say why? They say "because we are short staffed" there was SIX people behind the counter!!!! That's more than they have most of the time. The crew looks at you with their dead stare and you can see it in their eyes... absolute incompetence, zero will to work, complete and total laziness. There was three customers in the building hy the way so that's two employees per customer and they just can't muster up enough work ethic to do the job they are paid to do. I was pleasantly surprised at the great service we received here. Being it was Fathers Day, it was very busy but all the employees were friendly and helpful. As with Five Guys, the food arrived quickly, cooked to order and piping hot. Their fries are the best in town with that great 'boardwalk' taste and perfect seasoning. Food was exactly the same as the other Five Guys I have been to (which means YUM) and apparently the music issue had been taken care of, but the wait was much longer then the other Five Guys. Let me start by saying I'm a huge Five Guys fan. I've eaten at one in a dozen or more states. I make it a point while traveling. That said, my first visit here was a colossal disappointment. Yes it looked right. But there the familiar experience stopped. The crew seemed new or undertrained. Still I was hopeful. I opened the grease soaked bag and grabbed a fry. Awesome as always. Five Guys is a burger chain I'd heard about for years before actually giving it a try. It's a good burger and a fairly fun experience - what with the drink machine, orders being hollered out, bright diner-ish decor, etc. So why just 3 stars? Well, first, everything is greasy, and you smell the frying grease as soon as you walk in the door. If that sort of thing floats your boat, you will love this. I don't particularly. Second, it's a chain and with so many local burger joints around where you can pick up something just as good for the money, why not go local? And third, to me it's too expensive for a drive-through/take-out and not the kind of place I want to go sit and eat. The manager stated they have been working on getting orders right. That doesn't give the customer much hope for the store.
