Tonight I purchased Lemon pepper wings and fried rice and chicken When I got home and opened the container the smell of the rice was worse than garbage. It was so spoiled I can't believe it was sold for Haman conception. The wings were hard as if they had been sitting around for hours. I immediately went back to the store only to discover they were closed From I guess instead of throwing this trash away they sold it. One star is a very generous rating for this place! Ordered take out Tuesday evening for 4 adults. Wings were very small & boneless wings were ok. Philly cheesesteak was the only decent thing on the menu. But DO NOT order the fried fish!!! They were as tough as nails & appeared freezer burnt. I called to let them know & the girl took my name & number and told me a manager would call me back that night or the next day. It's now Friday & no callback from anyone. This location (in front of Walmart) is one of our family's favorite take out spots. They make the best phillies. They are always busy and the food is fresh. They open each box and show you your order to confirm everything looks good. You can season it right there at the counter before they bag it or ask for season salt and lemon pepper to go. Very limited seating if you want to eat there but they make carry out easy. read more

American Deli is an Atlanta classic, not up for debate. However, I am disappointed about this fall from grace. It's been maybe 5 or so years since I had them, and I was too hype to order them last Friday night to kick off the weekend, but imagine my surprise when our order arrived and it was nothing but some baby wings! I mean BABY WINGS! The wings were the size of my pink finger, not even exaggerating. The wing sauce and cook were perfection, just as I imagined it, but I'm not paying all that money and delivery to still be hungry. What a shame! I can't imagine how many wings grown men have to order to be full, because 10 is barely scratching the surface given the size they're dolling out. I hope they make a change, because it'd be shame to see a classic like American Deli go down like this. read more

My husband ordered online and picked up but didn't verify order. Once we realized nothing about our order was correct, he called the store for a solution. He was told to go online to fix it. There is no where through email or on the website to dispute or fix an order, so I drove back up to the store. An Asian gentleman immediately started arguing and wouldn't listen at all was just worried about who was gonna pay to fix his mistake. He was extremely rude, and because I am a female, wouldn't even speak to me, would tell his employee what to say to me. His behavior and attitude was absolutely disgusting. He finally remade our order correctly but out wings were severely overcooked making their already small wings even smaller and most of the meat was too crispy to enjoy. Overpriced baby wings and crap customer service. No establishment should treat their patrons that way. read more

I have visited this particular location on several occasions and the food has always been good!....however on today I decided to call in an order, the initial call at 2:20 PM in the afternoon the cashier told me it will be ready in 15 minutes I went in to pay for my food at 2:35pm she told me it will be another 10 minutes!!!.. As I patiently waited everyone in front and behind me had received their order... When I begin to question the cashier again she seemed quite unbothered and DID NOT APOLOGIZED as if I was bothering her!! I love American Deil but this place didn't make me happy. I ordered the 20 pc hot wings with fires and my mother ordered fried rice with shrimp. By the time we got back to the palace we started eating and that's when everything went down hill. The hot wings was crunchy but salty and the hot sauce on it tasted weird. My mom said the rice have a bad taste to it and the shrimp tasted old. I stop eating my food and went to eat the celery with ranch that they give you but I regret doing that because after that I vomited back up everything I ate and had to lay down. This is place is awful. We ordered very clearly. She even repeated the order back to us. When we get our food one order was the complete wrong order like not even close to what I ordered which was a surprise considering she repeated what we ordered back to us. We also wanted Diet Coke and they were too lazy to change the syrup thing and they all claimed nobody could do it and didn't even bother looking or trying. Don't ever come here. Food is crap. Went here to try something new. It was a chore just to order, as the employees were inept. I asked if they had in sweet tea and was told NO. So I ordered a combo with a Diet Coke. As they poured the duet Coke it ran out. Their response "the diet coke is out". So can you change it or fill it? Nope. Then they ask another worker if he can and he says no. Then the gal says "well I don't think the tea is that sweet" hmmm. I ended up asking for just the sandwich send not the combo, which lead to another set of problems for a refund. I am a huge American Deli fan, but this has to be the worst location. For some reason I keep trying it but I'm always disappointed. The cooking and taste here is just...different. I'm addicted to the fried rice but I couldn't even finish the rice from this location. It's just wrong lol. I feel the same way about their wings. Something is just not right.
