Sometimes, you get a person doesn't really care about services in the establishment. My last few dollars were to buy me some food. Richard was the cooked for my order. l called them to complained about the wings were over cooked (hard). The cashier addresses my concerns to him. Richard said "he doesn't understand English". I told the cashier, he has no problem understand you. l asked her to put him on the phone, understood her. He refused to applied. She (cashier) asked him a few more times take the phone. To no avail! The cashier said, " l don't know what wrong with him". l contacts my questions and concerns to information on the receipt, where is the morals of some business. This is crazy!!! Now, l will be going to bed hungry, and with a slight headache. Call it a loss. For $ 11.87 l hope Richard is proud of himself, sleep well, and karma be gentle to him. For me, to bless to stress. l will eat tomorrow. l may follow up with the BBB yelp on this website, they are usually pretty good with complaints at least they will know about this issue. .75 cents for yum yum sauce ( not extra , just for the meal) when you spent $30 for the 10pc combo and house rice(steak,chicken,& shrimp). Which was horrible !!! You can tell the Wings were refried and tossed in sauce , the meat in the rice is the same meat they use for chicken and Philly cheesesteak , and it was literally 3 shrimp in the rice. The customer service is Horrible !! They don't have any type of kindness to patrons of their business, they just cash you out then call your name . We knew better not to eat there but Chick-fil-A was closed because it's Sunday. I was really disappointed because i could have made that exact meal at home and been more satisfied. Have you ever had a craving? Oh my goodness, I wanted a Philly Steak and wings so bad. I went to American Deli inside the Mall of Kennesaw. However, no sooner did I reach the counter did all my cravings flee. I see one of the cooks conversing with her mask off. She then turned to continue cooking her mask on, but below her chin. I looked on in shock. When I asked if she would put her mask on, she dared to roll her eyes at me. I said, are you serious? People are dying!!! I asked the cashier to speak to the Manager. She said, "He wasn't there." I asked for a phone number to contact him, I was told I can not give that out. I asked for his name, she said Sam; I asked does he have a last name? I am sure you can guess her answer. I will NEVER eat here again. There was not one shred of professionalism or care shown by anyone working here. Granted, I understand it is not Canoe or Chops. However, suppose employees are bold enough to show they don't give a damn in front of the counter and a potential customer. In that case, I hate to see what is done behind the scenes. Food cold, soggy, not fresh, & hard which is the opposite of what I requested my food not to be. Plus I received more drums than flats. The wings were also not extra wet as requested. There are no words that can properly convey just how excited I am about this new location opening! I have been waiting for literally 13 years! Hot wings are my favorite and I've had to begrudgingly make the long trek from Kennesaw to Decatur just to satisfy my cravings. Everybody knows the best wing spots are in the hood. I mean every now and then you can find a so so alternative but nothing beats the taste of some good ol fried viddles from the urban areas. Now back to this joint and the pure joy that's in my heart now that it's here. The opening was delayed a few times due to some issues with the grill. How do I know? Because after stumbling upon the coming soon sign, I have literally stalked the Town Center Mall's customer service desk. On this wonderful and glorious opening day, I got off work early and sped right on over to claim what was mine. A nice 10 piece order of mild and lemon pepper wings, all drums, fried extra crispy. The combo comes with fries and a drink. The food was delicious and that signature sauce was finger looking good. The fries were perfection. Crinkly with the perfect seasoning, texture and crisp to them. The combo also comes with celery which is insignificant in itself but does a great job on relieving your mouth of the heat from the sauce. It's a pretty good compliment to the wings. Now why the 4 stars instead of 5? Well I know they just opened and there will be kinks to work out but my wings, while still tasty, were bigger in size than what I was accustomed to at the other locations and NOT fried close to crispy. I do not play around with that because that is the only way I can eat my wings. I did make an exception this time. I'm far from a novice and I know not all American Deli's are created equal. The worst ones in my opinion are on Cobb Pkwy across from the Walmart and Popeyes and the other one on Memorial Drive near the Belvedere Plaza. Those locations are just plain gross and I hope they get it together but I won't be going back to see. The best location to me, hands down is in South DeKalb mall. Now anyone familiar with the area will ponder is it worth getting shot or robbed just to partake in the greatness that is those wings and I honestly can't answer that. It's just that good. But I'm now a resident of North Cobb and while I know this location will never be as good as that one, I only hope it shows itself good enough to serve as a viable alternative. I will definitely give it a few more chances to get it right. The selections are few out here. Besides the nasty Wing Stop locations and that disgusting wings spot off of Barrett Pkwy in the shopping plaza behind Target (near Kuroshio and the post office) that has made me sick as a dog in the past, the only other option is Zaxbys. And I'd rather eat roach spray than their wings. Please, Town Center American Deli ! I beg of you to bring that fire, otherwise, I will just journey back to Mecca to my old childhood neighborhood to get my fix. Hopefully , I won't have to! read more

My plan was to come here instead of American Wing Company. When I arrived, I was the only one in line, not even a foot away from the counter. There were 2 girls leaning on the counter doing personal things and one Asian guy leaning up against something. Not even an acknowledgement, eye contact whatsoever from these employees. Then a lady came from behind me and got a refill. The girl from behind the counter literally saw through me like I wasn't there and tend to the lady that needed a refill. I finally get an eye contact and told her really, I was here first and you never even acknowledge the fact that I've been standing here. She tells me "oh she had a refill." What kind of a BS answer is that. For such poor customer service, I went to their competitor American Wing Company and pay more for their awesome customer service. read more
