She asked what she could do to make it right. I could tell she really cares about her business and customers, as well as the quality of work they produce. I explained that there wasn't much because of how altered they both were but instead, to make sure her parents fully understood what the customer was wanting and not to be afraid to say no if they couldn't actually do it. She agreed and again, couldn't have been more apologetic. This was a learning lesson for both parties and I know how to move forward. In the beginning, she asked if she could give me a refund. I declined at first because I wasn't seeking one but instead, was really hoping something could be done about my clothes. After a few phone calls, I decided I'd go ahead and take it. Prior to this, It had been a while since I've brought something to them but because this was handled so professionally, I'll continue using them but for dry cleaning only. The shop is located in Crestwood plaza close to Walgreens so it's perfect since I live nearby. They are open until 7pm which works even better for me! I dropped off my coats on a Monday and was asked when I needed it by. I didn't really need it by any certain time as it just started warming up that week again and I still have a couple of other coats I can wear in case it got cold so I asked for their usual turnaround time. He told me Friday of that same week that my coats will be ready for pickup. Friday was Christmas Eve, however, and we got so busy running around prepping for Christmas that I did not get the chance to pick my items up until the following Monday. Pick-up was a breeze though. Handed the lady the ticket and she grabbed my items, I paid for it and that was that. My coats look clean and most importantly, the smoky smell was gone from one of them. I previously wore one of my coats outside where there was a bon fire and could not air out the smoke. The cost for 2 coats was around $33. Not sure if it's pricey or not but I would say about the same when compared to the other dry cleaning shop I go to. I'm glad to have found this place and I'm glad they stay open longer. It looks to be a family-owned business with photos of the family hanging on the walls. The people working there were very nice and accommodating. They also perform repairs and alterations in addition to their garment cleaning services!

Their new location will not be as convenient for me but I will keep going to them and here is why: Once, about 10 years ago, I went to this place with my son's favorite teddy bear, which he had soiled as part of a "toileting accident". I was hoping they could dry clean it so the fur would still feel soft after it was cleaned. The lady working then told me that sometimes the dry cleaning chemicals destroy the eyes of stuffed animals and recommended I try washing it in one of the oversized washing machines at the laundry mat instead. I did that, and the fur came out kind of stiff but it was clean and still had its eyes intact. She didn't have to be so helpful to me with my problem and I really appreciate how she was conscientious enough to be so honest and not take my money for something she thought not might have a good outcome. Since that incident I have t all my dry cleaning to this place and feel good about giving my money to real people who care about their business and care about doing the right thing instead of some big chain which.... Who knows where the money they get goes?
