I get there and ALL of a sudden she's following protocol ...state mandates...on the day that they (the city) released that we were in Level 5 (meaning open), but to be aware that businesses may still ask us to wear a mask. She takes my temperature , I show her my Vaccination Card and I was instantly met with ATTITUDE!!! Not "Hi Dionna - how are you? Thanks for coming BACK! Here's the deal..." She (TILLY) has to be one of the RUDEST people with a job in SERVICE! NO DECORUM. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! The least she could have done was try to ease my pushback, given that SHE did not follow protocol the last time I ALLOWED her/PAID her to do my hair - when she was 30 MIN LATE for my 1st appointment, as a NEW CLIENT. Today was me giving her (TILLY) a 2nd chance! I will NOT allow anyone in SERVICE to talk to me, the way she did. --- I'm giving a 3rd star ONLY because ARI handled the situation properly, with GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE - listening & de-escalating the situation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TILLY! Yes, she does decent hair, BUT she is in a job of SERVICE - she needs to learn how to be OF service, with her demeanor as well. Thank you Ari, I will be back only because of you and only to try ANOTHER stylist!

I was not disappointed! Ana did a fantastic job on my toes (I did a spa pedicure) and my nails (no-chip manicure). I was greeted the moment I walked in the door and offered coffee, which I gladly took them up on. It was quiet when I got there (10:30 on a Saturday), but about an hour into my services it started to pick up, it was a pretty hoppin' place! Ana was very meticulous and payed attention to detail (she made sure to polish the ends of my nails, which I'm a big fan of. She was friendly but not overly chatty (I needed some time for my coffee to sink in) and got me out on the promised timeframe. I was also charged less than what was quoted online, I'm not sure why but that was a nice surprise. Overall, I was quite pleased with the service and my experience, and I'll gladly be back the next time I need my nails done.

My sisters always buy her gift certificates. After getting her hair done today, my mom handed the owner a very generic gift certificate (note I say generic because her gift certificates are hand written by her on a sheet of paper ripped out from a notebook and attached to the business card) and said no she already used it the entire amount. Not true. She is a liar and sat there arguing with my 83 year old mom and charged her for the haircut. Shame on her and for taking advantage of an older lady like that. Shame on her for doing this to a regular client. Because my sister paid cash we have no proof for the exception of $100 note she wrote and attached to a card as the gift certificate. It never showed that my mom used it and was getting deducted. She would always cross out the $ amount and deduct what the hair cut cost. Ex $100 gift card, used $20, $80 balance. She just flat out refused the gift card that shows the full $100. I am disgusted that she would literally steal $100 from a regular client who is 83 years old. Shocking and ballsy. Do not go to her. I used to until she messed up my hair but I stopped years ago and didn't write a bad review then. But now, ripping off your regular client or any client for that matter. She deserves to get blasted and you all deserve to know.

She takes the time to consult with you and formulate a treatment plan based on your own personal needs. I'm an extremely satisfied client and have been truly grateful to her for taking great care of my hair. For reference, I am a natural girl with extra thick, long and curly hair. Jazmine recommended that I try an Amino Acid straightening treatment to assist with manageability and shine while also infusing my hair with much needed nutrients. The treatment prevents your hair from swelling at the root from sweat, heat and humidity and makes for an easy wash and go style. It's been 3 weeks since the treatment and I have not had to use a flat iron or a single product in my hair! I'm completely blown away with the results!

I can't even begin to count how many hair/make-up artists simply stopped communicating with me about a trial. How do these people run a business?? And then I found Ann. I had had my makeup done before my professionals and really did not like that caked-on look. The photos from Ann's website looked very natural and her prices were fair (we were paying for the bridesmaids' hair as well so I was very price-conscious on this front). Caitlin ended up doing my hair and make-up, and she was PERFECT. Patiently re-tweaked my hair 10 times until it looked exactly how I wanted it to. And my make-up was literal perfection. Could not have been happier!! I looked like myself but better which is all I ever wanted. Additionally, she was an absolute pleasure to hang out with me and my bridesmaids on the day-of. I love the idea of airbrush makeup, but I explained to her that I hated how it can accentuate fine lines. I couldn't believe how flawless my face looked, both in photos and in person! I did not touch my hair or makeup all day long...it was perfect for 14 hours. She also got it exactly right on the first try; I didn't have to ask her to change a thing. Ann did my hair and makeup, and the makeup for my mom, and my 4 bridesmaids. Caitllin did the hair for my mom and bridesmaids. Everyone looked gorgeous! Caitlin took everyone's specific requests, and really nailed them all. We were all so happy with the final results, and it was amazing not to have to worry about anything the rest of the day/night. I also have to mention how fun it was to have Ann and Caitlin with us. We all talked and laughed the entire morning. They are both so nice, and it was great having them with us while we were getting ready. I highly highly recommend Ann and her team. Making 6 picky women happy is not an easy task!

I got so many compliments on my makeup at each event. Maria is so nice to talk to, too, and is flexible and always willing to make any changes to meet what you like. We did a number of makeup trials and as long as I spoke up, Maria was great at adjusting the makeup to get my desired look. It is very important to her to make you feel great and she doesn't take any adjustments personally. She also went the extra mile before my wedding and brought me amazing skin care samples to use-- face scrubs & masks-- to help me really glow on the big day. On the wedding day, she was fantastic, as was her talented assistant. She was on time and she and her assistant got through the 5 person bridal party (4 bridesmaids, 1 bridesman who got male grooming with Maria, and 2 moms, and of course me, the bride), smoothly. Everyone was thrilled with their looks and so happy, and we all looked like movie stars! Her pricing is extremely reasonable, too, and good value for the work. For eyes, the eyeliner lines were incredibly shaky (and not even a true black!!!), the requested blending was either nonexistent or very shoddily done (with streaks), and the lashes were noticeably plasticky with no mascara to mask the artificial texture. The blush technique and shapes were ALL wrong, concentrated all on the apples, and not in a good way, with almost no blending. The lip color was for one of the models was very unflattering! NO eyebrow definition. Also, I paid for some hairstyling, but she didn't even bring a curling iron. To be fair, we were rushed with one of the models, but one had PLENTY of time to be worked on and turned out like a clown due to the very poor attention to detail. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. The makeup I did on myself in literally 4 minutes was better than the end result. While I enjoyed her company, I STRONGLY advise you to stay away if you're looking for more avant-garde looks.
