I started at a company that used Amcheck to process payrolls until I noticed their system was overpaying my the employees overtime rate at double time. My rep was always changing for the year i was a client. I had 5 different reps. My first rep I had seemed to have a hard time understanding simple stuff which was the start of all the problems with Amcheck. I spoke with another Amcheck rep and discovered that our last bookkeeper is best friends of the owner and that is why my company signed up with Amcheck. My rep was replaced a couple times and the last rep u finally got stuck with was the last straw. She was impossible to work with. I couldn't understand anything she was saying. She never made sense when she spoke and it was like working with the Tasmanian Devil when she talked.
When I went to the office to meet the owner, Marie there was no professionalism in the staff. I finally met Kellie and she just looked like a grumpy slob in sweats slouching in her chair at her desk looking like a couch potato that was not as pleasant in person as in the phone. Marie was nice but came off as a crooked used car salesman and she refused to help with the over payment of $1000s of dollars in wages, taxes and workers comp because of her staff's negligence. I would not recommend this place since they have a high turnover in staff that is not trained and the staff's incompetence can cost $1000's of dollars. The savings on payroll processing fees did not add up to the costs to my company created by Amcheck. read more
