Don't bother with them unless you're desperate. I feel insulted by the recruiters there. They're unresponsive even though I contact them 4 different ways (call, text, email, voicemail), no response EVER. I got 1 gig from them and the company was unstable and laid off everyone within 6 months. Ever since then, I've been looking for work and for 5 months, not a single job and not even a single interview with CC. They all rave about how great my portfolio is blah blah but I doubt their email blasts are real jobs. I applied to every single job that I qualify for (some even insulting low for my experience) and either get no response and even rejections for doing Powerpoint presentations. I literally don't know who is getting hired by anyone at CC. People said they were good in the past but these days, they're useless unless you know a recruiter directly and have a good relationship with them. read more

If there was an option to give 0 stars, it would be 0. They set up an interview to go over your portfolio, they tell you that they email out the opportunities and the session is over. After that, you do not hear from them ever again. The only thing you can do is respond to their emails. They do not follow up with you, nor answer your phone calls...NOTHING. I have been with other agencies before and they are ON it. They are constantly communicating with you on a daily basis and check in on you daily when you have the job. They just want the commission when you get the job or your not worth their time. Which they put no effort to help you get one. Don't waste your time and go anywhere but here. read more

First: Five stars to Alexa Greenstadt for being a genuine advocate for her clients, and a tenacious problem-solver. She earned my respect and gratitude when she called me after I wrote a harsh review of the agency. She is a true professional, willing to endure what I certainly made an uncomfortable situation with my public criticism. But without spite, Ms. Greenstadt reached out to sincerely resolve my concerns with a willingness to listen and treat me like a person and not a number. My original review was very negative on the grounds of feeling ignored in an exhaustive application process with both the LA and OC offices, without much in the way of feedback about how to land these particular jobs, or how to improve my chances. Nevertheless, I recognize that being a creative freelancer doesn't come easily in Southern California, where even your plumber does graphic design on the side. My point is that Ms. Greenstadt's personal attention to resolving this issue showed me a willingness to do what is in her power to take care of her clients, even when that involves calling a pissed-off client :) She is really doing her best, as I'm sure are the other recruiters at CC. Ultimately I decided these placements may not be the type of work I am most interested in pursuing, but Ms. Greenstadt left me an open door to return to the agency in the future, and after the professional way she handled things I will certainly keep that consideration in-mind. If you are a freelancer, and consider seeking work through Creative Circle, you will have to work hard and cast a wide net to be placed. BUT you should certainly consider calling the office if you are serious about a position, and trying to find the recruiter responsible for the posting. PROS I worked with Alexa and she was BRILLIANT! She found a job for me within a few days of reviewing my portfolio. My skills and experience are there; I just needed an advocate to throw the pitches for me. And boy, did she deliver!!! Had an interview with a client involving a practical test to verify that my head was in it, and I passed with flying colors. This job could easily become a full time position, and it is all thanks to Alexa at Creative Circle! I didn't just get standardized emails that go out to everyone; I received actual phone calls in order to find that great fit. If you don't give them a chance to prove themselves, how can they possibly help you find what you are looking for? I personally recommend giving them such an opportunity. CONS As I was nervous when I first went into my Creative Circle interview, it took a month for this to start working extremely well; just make sure when you go into your interview at Creative Circle, you bring your A game. For designers, show your pieces (highlighting your best work) and make sure to demonstrate consistency. Show at least one example of collateral. Also, if you have had to sign NDA's (Non-Discolosure Agreements) for the bulk of your work (like I had to), think about taking pictures of products in stores, screenshots of finished products, etc. Just make sure you can prove to them that you are worth fighting for! read more

It's really suspicious that a lot of the reviewers on here only have 1-2 reviews (ehem...fake reviews). They ask for your social security number right off the bat so if you're not comfortable doing this don't even bother applying. This is the first recruiting agency I've used that has done that. Also, I believe some of their postings are fake and just used for clickbait to get you to apply. The worst recruiting agency I've ever worked with - don't waste your time here. I came into the office hopeful that I would find a position for myself with Alexa, but that got shut down rather quickly. My meeting with her was only 10 minutes maximum and she only asked a few questions about my background. I told her a couple of times that there were specific roles listed on their website I was interested in and that I was qualified for so I'd email them over to her once I got home. Also, she offered sending me information on an Account Executive position open at Creative Circle she thought I'd be a great fit for. After the meeting I received a few links on some open positions that were just ok. I sent Alexa over the positions I was genuinely interested in and ones that I was qualified for and I didn't get any response. I followed up again...no response. Ok??? She didn't follow up on those positions or the Account Executive position she brought up at our initial meeting. What a great, personal recruiter, right? Not. What really got me irritated was that my cousin sent me a text message asking me if I was working with Creative Circle because he had got a spam email from one of their AEs with my profile. His company wasn't working them, because according to him they're way too expensive. I had no idea that they sent their candidates profiles to companies they don't even have as clients. NONE of the recruiting agencies I've worked with in the past have done this. I'd avoid this place at all cost. read more

She was very thoughtful and explained the whole process to me. I went through a long process to get my Green Card and worked closely with Brittany during several months. She was always very interested in my status and sent me great positions until I choose one, even if my Green Card wasn't approved yet. She did an amazing job with the company and hold the position to me for almost 3 months. When I finally got my Green Card I already had the offer and started the same week. Since i joined this agency i went to 3 different interviews with their staff agents, they assured me that they would send me to job interviews or short term projects and put my email on their list when an opportunity comes through to notify me. As i said i have joined this agency for 3 years and i have yet to be notified about any opportunities, go to interviews or find a job through this agency. I have jobs from time to time but only because i sent my resume directly to job openings instead of using a staffing agency like this one to help me find a job Avoid this agency at any expense. Don't waste your valuable time like i did. You will end up without being able to find a job.
