I was approached by Alexis for a job. After weeks of running around and doing interviews I was supposed to talk to one more person in the company. Personally it sounded like the job was mine. Alexis ghosted me. No follow through at all after weeks. Th position was relisted without a word. read more

I was a college student when I came across Marquee Staffing from the Facebook Jobs & Internships page. I didn't want to commit to a job fully since I had to study and focus on my academics, but I saw a part-time opportunity and jumped at it. Alexis C. was the one who reached out to me ASAP after emailing her my resume, and although I couldn't fulfill that specific job opportunity I saw on the page, she recruited me for many other small & quick part-time front desk receptionist jobs. Alexis is AMAZING! When I told her my situation about not trying to find a commitment but was free for three months after graduation, she understood and helped me whenever she heard about any job opportunities. I constantly got calls/texts throughout spring quarter asking if I wanted to take on the job of a one-day receptionist, or if I wanted to take part in a study. Each job salary varies, but it was always above minimum wage. As soon as graduation came around, Alexis found the perfect job opportunity for me to work with Advantage Solutions as a receptionist. I never had to reach out to Alexis asking whether or not there were any jobs coming up, because she did a great job keeping me in the loop. There were at least 3-5 one-day job openings every two weeks, and Alexis always kept her end of the bargain when I wanted to find work. In my opinion, this recruitment opportunity is for anyone trying to find quick work and make some fast money. Marquee Staffing is definitely something I am very happy to have found, and I wish I knew about it sooner. I do believe that the experience you get depends on your recruiter and how active they are in finding you quick job opportunities. I was very lucky to have been recruited by Alexis, because she is so easy-going and always answered any questions I had. If anyone is thinking about being a part of their agency, I recommend Alexis! She takes into consideration all of my background info, like where I went to school, how far I wanted to work, what days/weeks I was available, etc. I had a great experience with this company, and I would do it again if I could! read more

I would like to speak about my experience at Marquee Staffing. It was one of the greatest experience I had, they're so professional, reasonable and Fair and if you're looking for work with a really good pay rate, choose Marquee right away, they have variety of job opportunities with good great companies. Personally Alexis recruited me and she's such a professional recruiter I always call her as a Bless for anyone to know her. She's reasonable, understanding and really will help you out to get the best for you and on the top of that she's a very good listener and fair person. Thanks Alexis and thanks Marquee for the amazing express I had with you and it was such an honor and pleasure working with you. read more

Alexis C. was great. She called me within 15 min of application. Came in for light paperwork as most was done online. In and out of her office in 5 mins due to her organization. Started the following week. Alexis is very informative and is quick to respond to email/text/call unlike the other agencies. I got lucky. -Tom read more

Greg Athans reached out to me in regards to a potential job opportunity with a client of his. I went through 4 rounds of interviews with the client. Greg was responsive throughout, until the final stage. Once I completed the last stage of the interview process, I never heard from Greg Athans again. I reached out via phone, text and email, but received no response. I can accept that I did not get the job, what I cannot accept is the unprofessionalism displayed here. As soon as it was apparent that I did not get the job, I was dead to Greg. As a recruiter, having uncomfortable rejection conversations is part of the job. To completely ignore me is unprofessional and unacceptable. I would recommend you stay away as far away from possible from Greg Athans and Marquee Staffing Company, they only care about the commission, they don't care about you. read more

BEWARE! I am 100% convinced this company is a complete scam. A week ago, I submitted my information on their website. A recruiter by the name of Akhil Kumar contacted me within 30 minutes. Since his picture is posted on their webpage, I figured it was legitimate. After a few email exchanges, including him requesting my resume, he scheduled a phone call interview for the following morning. Akhil Kumar never called, and when I sent him another email explaining how I never got a call and would like to reschedule, he never responded. This kind of behavior is completely rude and unprofessional. I searched through Yelp and saw Alexis C. having stellar reviews, so I emailed her directly explaining the situation about Akhil Kumar and if she could help me instead. She never responded. If you want to give away some of your personal information and then be promptly "ghosted," then by all means apply to Marquee Staffing. read more

Marquee matched my resume to a temporary position with a high level aerospace company. Within in two days I had an interview. Within four days I was working. They were professional in their evaluation and discussion of qualities, and were well in tune with what my would-be employer needed. The boarding website is fairly intuitive and quick to process. It takes care of the HR needs in short order. Their time clock is a breeze to use, with none of the clunkiness of ADP and others. Alexis and Chris, my contacts, were always quick and thorough with any questions or needs I had. I cannot recommend Marquee enough, and would be happy to work with them as an employer or hire, again. read more

I came across Marquee Staffing when I was looking for a better, work-challenging job because the one I had before was not cutting it. When I came in for onboarding, the other staff members were very professional including Stephanie, the receptionist. I would say I was lucky to have Iman Malik as my recruiter because she goes above and beyond in communication and is genuinely supportive and consistent in finding the work opportunity you are hoping to find. Best recruiter I've ever had. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! I heard really great things about this company, that wasn't the case for me! I was looking for a new opportunity and read some great feedback about them. At first Sarah, who I was working with, seemed very helpful. After not hearing from her for two weeks after speaking with her, I had to call her and leave messages after messages. I was doing her job in communicating and trying to get updates. She never kept me informed nor did I felt like she tried to help me. This was the worst experience I have ever had! I DO NOT recommend them! You are better off finding a job on your on then going through with this company! read more

I would like to thank Iman Malik for her dedication and hard work in finding me a job. Nina McCann matched me up with the perfect internship, and I had an amazing experience at the company I was matched with. Having someone to refer to questions about was really helpful, ESPECIALLY during the pandemic when things transitioned to remote work. Anthony, you were an amazing help! Within a 2 weeks I was hired! Without your help, i would of made it. I appreciate you!

Awesome company ! Helpful, great to work with. They provide great feedback and offer suggestions to improving my resume.

Marquee Staffing appears to be a recruiting agency with 3 locations in California. I was contacted by Nour Almasri who sent me an e-mail saying he/she contacted me for a job that is related to my "skill set". I am still trying to figure out what part of the job description was in any way connected with what I did or do. These kinds of recruiters don't know anything about what they do, they don't read resumes and they just shoot in the dark. Honestly, I have no time to waste so I just leave a 1-star rating. That way the next person that gets contacted by Nour Almasri knows what he/she is dealing with. read more

Had a terrible experience with this agency. They got me a job but it was a complete waste of time. I got hired on with two other temps. I showed up everyday for a week, was friendly, outgoing, and worked my tail off, only to be let go the following week for having a "hostile attitude". Apparently, the manager, who I had barely even interacted with, and was respectful to in our brief interactions, made the report. It was a complete lie and they said that just to get rid of me for whatever reason, but here's the kicker, the recruiter Nina McMann showed no empathy and automatically took the manager's side, claiming, "Juan was in the military, so I think he knows how to run a warehouse." What a laughable and ignorant statement. Newsflash, Nina, I was in the military too, so clearly that doesn't mean anything. This agency is a joke, you're better off looking for work yourself or going to an agency that actually respects its clients. read more

Do not bother with this agency. Very unprofessional. They do not know how to do their jobs. I got let go from a position they hired me for and they NEVER helped me find a new job! Isnt that what staffing agents should do?! I had to keep calling them. They said they had 2 posible jobs. I kept keeping in contact with them and they never once called me plus my recruiter Tarrin was avoiding me. I called and got her finally after a week of leaving messages and she got me confused with someone else then told me oh ya no jobs thanks for following up I will call you. Havent heard from her since. I got let go Mar 21 2012 and still nada! TERRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL AGENCY...BEWARE! read more
