I was a college student when I came across Marquee Staffing from the Facebook Jobs & Internships page. I didn't want to commit to a job fully since I had to study and focus on my academics, but I saw a part-time opportunity and jumped at it. Alexis C. was the one who reached out to me ASAP after emailing her my resume, and although I couldn't fulfill that specific job opportunity I saw on the page, she recruited me for many other small & quick part-time front desk receptionist jobs. Alexis is AMAZING! When I told her my situation about not trying to find a commitment but was free for three months after graduation, she understood and helped me whenever she heard about any job opportunities. I constantly got calls/texts throughout spring quarter asking if I wanted to take on the job of a one-day receptionist, or if I wanted to take part in a study. Each job salary varies, but it was always above minimum wage. As soon as graduation came around, Alexis found the perfect job opportunity for me to work with Advantage Solutions as a receptionist. I never had to reach out to Alexis asking whether or not there were any jobs coming up, because she did a great job keeping me in the loop. There were at least 3-5 one-day job openings every two weeks, and Alexis always kept her end of the bargain when I wanted to find work. In my opinion, this recruitment opportunity is for anyone trying to find quick work and make some fast money. Marquee Staffing is definitely something I am very happy to have found, and I wish I knew about it sooner. I do believe that the experience you get depends on your recruiter and how active they are in finding you quick job opportunities. Greg was responsive throughout, until the final stage. Once I completed the last stage of the interview process, I never heard from Greg Athans again. I reached out via phone, text and email, but received no response. I can accept that I did not get the job, what I cannot accept is the unprofessionalism displayed here. As soon as it was apparent that I did not get the job, I was dead to Greg. As a recruiter, having uncomfortable rejection conversations is part of the job. To completely ignore me is unprofessional and unacceptable. BEWARE! I am 100% convinced this company is a complete scam. A week ago, I submitted my information on their website. A recruiter by the name of Akhil Kumar contacted me within 30 minutes. Since his picture is posted on their webpage, I figured it was legitimate. After a few email exchanges, including him requesting my resume, he scheduled a phone call interview for the following morning. Akhil Kumar never called, and when I sent him another email explaining how I never got a call and would like to reschedule, he never responded. This kind of behavior is completely rude and unprofessional. I searched through Yelp and saw Alexis C. having stellar reviews, so I emailed her directly explaining the situation about Akhil Kumar and if she could help me instead. She never responded. If you want to give away some of your personal information and then be promptly "ghosted," then by all means apply to Marquee Staffing. read more

They were professional in their evaluation and discussion of qualities, and were well in tune with what my would-be employer needed. The boarding website is fairly intuitive and quick to process. It takes care of the HR needs in short order. Their time clock is a breeze to use, with none of the clunkiness of ADP and others. I was contacted by Nour Almasri who sent me an e-mail saying he/she contacted me for a job that is related to my "skill set". I am still trying to figure out what part of the job description was in any way connected with what I did or do. These kinds of recruiters don't know anything about what they do, they don't read resumes and they just shoot in the dark. Honestly, I have no time to waste so I just leave a 1-star rating. Had a terrible experience with this agency. They got me a job but it was a complete waste of time. I got hired on with two other temps. I showed up everyday for a week, was friendly, outgoing, and worked my tail off, only to be let go the following week for having a "hostile attitude". Apparently, the manager, who I had barely even interacted with, and was respectful to in our brief interactions, made the report. It was a complete lie and they said that just to get rid of me for whatever reason, but here's the kicker, the recruiter Nina McMann showed no empathy and automatically took the manager's side, claiming, "Juan was in the military, so I think he knows how to run a warehouse." What a laughable and ignorant statement. Newsflash, Nina, I was in the military too, so clearly that doesn't mean anything. This agency is a joke, you're better off looking for work yourself or going to an agency that actually respects its clients. read more
