I love coming to this location. Since even before it was owned by AMC, I'd come here with friends and family. Lots of fantastic movie selections, and on occasion the lobby is chaotic but that doesn't hinder the experience. They have great staff, most of which growing up in spring I knew personally. My only thing, which has bothered me greatly, is the parking lot. If it is an AMC parking lot, known to have a few vehicles broken into, why not hire a security guard to roam the lot? Upgrade more cameras to have more view points? My truck was broken into on Monday 3/9. And I was told it wasn't AMC's responsibility. Which I understand. But this was at night, I was alone, my truck door was ajar when I returned and stuff was moved around. The perpetrator could have returned. Or anything.... all I am saying is they ought to hire a guard to roam /their/ property parking lot. read more

Express order wasn't ready when we showed up. There was a buzzing sound happening during the entire movie. Very annoying. Don't recommend this theatre. Looks like it's newly built but seems very old and dirty. read more

Such a nice renovation now wasted. Have heard everyone talk about the reclining seats and decided to check it out. What a filthy dump. Obviously management does not schedule enough staff to keep the place clean. Popcorn and trash everywhere, bathroom stalls overflowing and not working, and it is clear by the faces on each staff member that they really could care less. Our family loves this movie theater. We are so spoiled by the awesome reclining and plush chairs, that going to any other theater feels so uncomfortable. We are Stubbs members so frequently get money off of tickets and love all of the concession upgrades. Employees have always been friendly. We frequent here about 2 times per week. I have gone to this theatre since the 90s, but stopped when the decor went way low rent with age. I now live 5 minutes away and an avid movie goer. Recently, AMC Loews has had a complete over haul. It is now my absolute favorite place to see a movie. I am adding some photos which depict the relaxing electric recliners in which to enjoy this new theatre. Ok sooooooooo love the chairs they are leather recliners and the rows are very spacious to get in and out with or without the seats reclining. I didn't like their food selection plus the prices are way to much for a combo. Also I went on a Friday night and they had only 1 person working the bar, that was not a good idea the line was super long. Dirtiest theatre I have been to. Even the dollar theater looks a whole lot nicer. Restrooms were all dirty and trash all on the floor. Even our row of seats were dirty and had trash still sitting there. I felt dirty just to sit down in the seats. I'll stick to AMC Willowbrook. read more

I want to start with; Love the idea of picking my seats online and paying online. Especially if your running late. You don't have to get stuck in the front row of the theater. However, I went to the movies with my family, purchased popcorn, nachos, hot dogs and soda. Only to experience a power outage. We didn't get a refund. We received a rain check to come back to any movie and reuse the ticket. So I waited 2 weeks and went to the movie theater again. Purchase popcorn and soda. And not 5minutes after getting tickets exchanged. Another Power Outage. I didn't even get to walk into the theater .So it's very frustrating that I've spent so much money on refreshments for my kids and had to take them home with us and not see a movie. I actually used my raincheck tickets to experience another power outage to get more rain check tickets. Overall, this place is clean. But this is an extremely frustrating situation for myself and the family. It's been a month and I still haven't been able to use the unused tickets. The last time we went to the movies, we decided to go elsewhere, because of the power outage situation happening in both visits. Going there was a waste of time, gas and money. Very disappointed.. At what point do you get a refund? The last visit I left the concession stand to hear the announcement that there is no power and hold onto your tickets for another day. I can't believe that!!!! Update your back up system and generators first before upgrading your seats. read more

I usually am a huge advocate for AMC, but this theater has me rethinking that. This is the nastiest movie theater I've ever been too. The carpet is in desperate need of cleaning, there's popcorn and trash everywhere. The actual theaters smell like FEET. Lastly, the staff & MANAGEMENT here is extremely disrespectful. They were careless with our money and refunded it to another person's credit card...highly suggest avoiding this theater at all costs!!!!!! read more

This is my movie theatre of choice! It's always clean and the customer service is great. On opening days for popular films, it's best to buy your tickets in advance because they sell out pretty quickly. Fandango makes purchasing tickets super easy for a small added fee. Lastly, all theaters have red leather reclining seats which is an added perk. Go AMC! read more

This place is awesome. Reserved, comfortable seating is the movie experience of the future, and they do it in style. You go online and reserve your specific seat beforehand, and you don't have to show up to the theater 45 minutes before the movie starts--you can walk in during the previews and know that you're going to have a good seat! I have noticed lately there seems to be some issue with scanning your phone for tickets -- maybe print out your paper ticket if you're buying online. Luckily, if you're in a couple, my experience has been that they don't mind letting one person go ahead into the concessions line while the other person waits to get the actual tickets scanned. They're pretty loose with the entries, probably because with reserved seating in the theaters, it's a lot harder to just walk in and sit down. They also have those awesome drink machines where you can create your own flavor/soda combos. I love those, and gladly pay $6 for my Diet Caffeine Free Cherry Vanilla Coke. No shame. The reason this place gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because the last two times I've been, they inexplicably only have 2-3 registers open at the concession stand, and the line is LONG and SLOW. Again, with reserved seats, I expect to be able to come to the theater 5 minutes before my movie starts -- well, I can't do that if I have to wait 15 minutes in the concessions line. They need to get more people working there, or have a soda-purchase-only line (literally all they do is hand you the empty cup and take your $6). read more

I bought tickets to Jurassic World 3D online to skip the lines and I was glad I did so. We breezed in, flew through the concession queue effortlessly and let our creativity run wild while crafting our custom soft drink flavor combinations. Since I reserved our seats ahead of time, I knew that we would have great views however upon entering the theater I immediately saw that every seat was a good one - even on the wings. Having grown up in this area and visited this theatre in its heyday , it's nice to see that they finally remodeled this theatre. ! The individual theaters are large , and you sit in leather recliners just like you would in a home theatre. I would return here for this feature alone. I absolutely love the reserved seating because I don't have to wait 2 hours in line to get a good seat. I remember when this theater was Lowe's Theater and was run down. I can't even go to any other movie theater after experiencing their plush leather recliners. A little wider than your normal recliner. I've seen kids and their parents bringing pillows and blankets to get really comfy. It's a nice place for a movie without the ginormous megaplex crowd. Each time I've been there has been much less than what I expected. Both times the nice seats were covered in grease! It's SO GROSS. The second time I went I brought some hand sanitizing wipes so I wouldn't automatically start sliding off the seat when I sat down. This isn't leather wipes sort of grease, because I know how that stuff is. This was oil from the bottom of the popcorn bags, and I know this because the first time I went there I sat my bag down to take off my jacket as we were leaving and saw exactly the same type of oil drops that I saw when I first entered before the movie started. The second problem I have is that, while I understand they have reserved seating, they do not open the theater for your specific movie until it is exactly at or later than the time on your ticket. Tonight, a group of around 100 people were standing outside of the door as the four teenage workers walked out five minutes PAST our showing time and walked past us all; no announcing that we could enter, no holding the door, nothing. The fact that we were just supposed to guess we could go in is laughable because most of us been waiting outside of our theater for around thirty minutes. The last problem is that they allow babies into the theater. I went to see a horror movie (PG13 so there were plenty of kids there with whom I had no problems). This lady and man were sitting in front of me with a baby. I am talking at least under one year old, screaming, crying, distracting baby in a theater. I definitely won't come back here. The Woodlands' Cinemarks are much better run than this. read more

When we first started coming here in earlier 2016 it was really great! lately from the end of 2016 to now every show has been troublesome. The entire place is run by uneducated high school students or drop outs whom have no etiquette, no manners, or work ethics! the place is dirty, the trailers are usually running 30 minutes more than they should and they never dim the lights, Two times we had to get up and go find someone to turn the lights down cause the show had already started and no one could see the screen cause the lights were bright and reflecting off the screen!!!! I'm so disappointed its so quickly become rundown and unkempt, because its right around the corner from our house. The only plus now are the seats, but im sure that too will diminish eventually :( read more

This theater really upgraded! We used to avoid it at all costs, but now it is our favorite movie theater! The free soda refills and super comfortable reclining seats make this place awesome. I agree with just about every review here. The self service machines are constantly not working and the theatre only has 1 agent behind the counter to help everyone. The lines at the concession are always terrible, I have never been in when there wasn't a line. I usually don't get snacks or drinks because of the line, but sometimes when hubby or friends come they have to stand in said line. That said, this location is too convenient for me to go to another theatre. I agree with other yelpers that said, a little training and cleaning would go a LONG way. read more

Overtly unfriendly staff. Despite just being remodeled the place is filthy. I have been to this theater 3 times recently. Once during the renovation and twice more since complete. Unless they also do some customer service training and keep the place clean the remodel was a waste of time. My best advice do what I do now and find another place to see a movie. read more

Never AGAIN! This theater offers purchasing on line. I bought tickets AND food online. I get to the theater and had to wait in line for tickets and the cashier kept trying to get me to repurchase tickets when I already bought them. Finally she says OH! just go over there and he can scan you in...after 10 min of nonesense. So I say cool. At least we already bought food and don't have to stand in that line as our movie had already started. NOPE! My online order "didn't go through" so I had to wait on my food order too. On top of that the entire food/drink/ condiment station was FILTHY AF! Im not sure why y'all spend so much time advertising that horrible theater. It's no different and I won't be back. read more
